Just like going thru thicker, tougher metal w a drill bit, slower gets thru it faster, easier than full throttle and burn your bit up , speeds n feeds , that saws cuttin real good there buckin n sounds mintttt 👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I'm weird I know , but I could sleep very peacefully in the front seat of an pick up hearing this , oh and the smell of a two stroke and fresh cut fir tree ..heaven ! Thanks B Ray
Another great video. Just recently found you. Love your attitude. Now I know we share a birthday. I was born on April 7th 1971. I was born with a cleft lip and left pallet. I feel your struggles.
Welcome to the channel birthday bro, Buckin Billy is a serious worker with a friendly attitude. His teachings of many different things are note worthy...🌲💚
Amen. I certainly appreciate my 450 and 562 xtorq. And my third will be a upgraded husqy. Gonna place a order with Ripsaw next payday. Nothing big but something. Take care from the yonders of Arkansas. Godbless.
Enjoy the splitting and bucking content! I've been buckin and splitting wood this summer like mad and really like using my axes I hung myself! Getting good at filing the square ground chain as well thanks to you sir!! Brian in Oregon.
Buckin ‘ I don’t usually comment on the ole RUclips, but I just have to say thanks you for all the knowledge you put out along with all the positivity! I’ve learned a-lot from watching your videos from bucking firewood to being a better human!
I have commented quite often this channel of the good ole RUclips and it's always refreshing to read an honest opinion... especially when it comes to being a better human. 💚
Perfect timing for this video to come out. I just came in from cutting firewood myself. Dolmar 7310, gutted Stihl 460 muffler, diy full wrap handle and a 32" bar. Love ya Buckin'!
Buckin this may be an odd thing to say to a man, but it looks good to see those loose pants fall of ya. Great job on the weightloss! Everytime you say thanks for being here, I want to say back thanks for giving us a place to be
Years of experience buckin You can’t replace that I pulled 4axle tanks for 30 yrs Drive the truck drive the saw know your equipment that’s what makes you a prof
hey Buckin', not sure if you'll get the reference but here goes anyway. Maybe you need to bring a pickanic basket for that site and strategically place it in the bush. maybe that bear will not even bother you. Love you brother
Agreed, a 462 is a strong saw. Much better bang for the buck than the 500i, and I have both. 462 doesn’t get enough credit. I’d love to see a Ripsaw 462 and what it can do
What beautiful wood Buckin, great saw too. Such a beautiful day there. I have a new pile of larger logs of (eucalyptus)delivered. I need to get it cut up n split. I am hoping she's as easy as this. Be kind, be nice, and have courage.😊 love from the Australian East Coast.
Wow that was fun. The saw was on point. Let her eat. You just keep on getting closer to the edge of the woods. Watch out for that bear. Thank you Buckin’
Too FUNNY! "Just Happy to be anywheres these days" also, I had never heard the birthing story along with the shoulder dislocation thing. Wow man! Good cutting!
I'm a power saw fire nutcase from nz and I love my 572xp it's just got so much torque 4 a 72cc. Everyone bags me 4 having one because here they are stihl crazy 🤪
Went out today to get what will be the last load of wood for the season here in rural Victoria Australia, found some lovely hard as rock Buloke, probably been down for 3 or 4 years, put the old 450 rancher to the test that's for sure. Much love from down under.
I just used my 572xp to buck up some Shagbark Hickory (I saved some good pieces for tool and axe handles, don't worry). I was running a 32" bar with Oregon EXJ, so full skip with my rakers at .025". It was a big 100+ year old tree. Like Buckin says, as long as you let this saw do the work and keep the RPMs high it will work great. It's not a torque saw. If you dog into big Hickory for example it's not gonna cut very well. Once you get this saw tuned for what you're cutting it's a screamer
Finally someone on RUclips who knows how to run and file a saw. Sounds like a good saw, I’m not sure if you read all comments Buckin', but do you you remember the old 281’s and 288's, I ran those in the 80's 90's and early 2000's, until Husky stopped manufacturing them. The old timers always told me to "lean on it." I haven’t heard that phrase FOR YEARS.
I understand what you are describing when you are “working “ the throttle in a cut. I’m just an fella who plays with chainsaws and you really need to be on and off the throttle on any 2stroke. They need to breath.
"Just a guy working, no cats flying from trees, or dogs smiling or talking. No ones getting eaten by sharks". I notice you didnt mention anything about "no bears" lol.
If you have a calibration curve, on an XY graph, from data points and you make a prediction for a Y value from a known X value and it's within your data set; it's called an interpolation. If however your making an estimate outside on your data set, below the lowest or above the highest points on your curve, then it's an extrapolation.
Extrapolation was the first solo album of guitarist John McLaughlin after playing with Miles Davis, Miles told him to get his own band together. Do his own thing. 1969 album release "Extrapolation"
Just slapped in a new (4x sharpened) chain on my 371. The Amish guy who does my chains is mad at you now. He was hoping I'd be in to bring in a chain for him because he wanted me to drive him to his daughters.
Billy. Would you do an episode on whats in your first aid kit and where you keep it when you're working. Do you carry any tourniquets directly on your belt or are they all back at the truck or do you not bother, relying on the chaps??
Heh! After the last storm around here, a couple of large poplars fell onto a neighbouring field, and in a week or so, when some very foul weather has passed, I need to remove them before the spring plowing. I was first looking for a Husky 372XP but they don't sell them in Europe anymore, so I found a 572XPG at a nice discount. However, I need a long bar, partly because those poplars are three-footers, partly because my lower back tells me not to stoop over when limbing trunks anymore. But it was impossible to find a max. bar length for skip-tooth chains. Husky themselves say max. bar length is 28 inches, but I assume that is for a full house chain. So, what did I do to find the right answer? I found this particular video where Billy mentions that his (okay, it's ported) 572XPG can take a 32 inch bar even with a full house chain. And that's all the info I need in the first place. So tomorrow I'll get my first Husky power saw. I've got two Stiga saws already. They are easy to operate and so easy to clean and maintain. However, the big one can't take bars that long. But why not a Stihl, an Echo, or a Jonsered? Well, last summer I got me a Husky lawn mover, and I never had a better one, so it's Husky from now on. And thus Billy saves the day once again. Thanks, man!
“Throttle Play” play with the throttle a lot and you’ll get through the wood faster!👍🤘🏻 I use to go full bore constantly until I started watching your vids 7/8 yrs ago! 👍😁
Hello buckin I just got a 572 Xp and I love my new saw it’s amazing I would love if your prototype goes well with the muffler I would buy one really quick if you start selling them but love your videos and have a blessed day 🤙
hey Buckin, thank you for all the great content, I really get alot out of your sharpening knowledge, I was wondering if you have any advise on starting these new auto-tunes saws I have a 562XP ,Thanks for your willingness to share with us
Just like going thru thicker, tougher metal w a drill bit, slower gets thru it faster, easier than full throttle and burn your bit up , speeds n feeds , that saws cuttin real good there buckin n sounds mintttt 👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That saw sounds so good!
Wow Buckin. That is some beautiful Country side out there. Stumps brother

If you put that Stihl muffler on the Dolmar I’d like to know how well it fit AND do you think that it’s going to be a good candidate for a 372?
100% with you husky all the way 👌👌
Can see every move is anti fatigue to preserve the body & the saw.Putting out serious work without abusing either! Smart!
What a slim & strong man, respect!!!
Love your work mate ...that's for helping me through Arb college.. Piece from Australia my fellow Canadian...
Buckin this may be an odd thing to say to a man, but it looks good to see those loose pants fall of ya. Great job on the weightloss! Everytime you say thanks for being here, I want to say back thanks for giving us a place to be

Looks like it would suit a 28in a little better, also a ripsaw 462 would be good to see next to this
Agreed, a 462 is a strong saw. Much better bang for the buck than the 500i, and I have both. 462 doesn’t get enough credit. I’d love to see a Ripsaw 462 and what it can do
@@tomphillips5461 it’s a fair match to the 572 cc wise as well
Ya like 1 cc difference? About as close as you can get, great idea man 👌🏽
Good. All you can do is the best you can. Glad your shoulder is getting better.
What beautiful wood Buckin, great saw too. Such a beautiful day there.

I just picked up a 572XP. I’d love to get one of those mufflers you’ve been testing. I’m running a 28” bar and enjoying the stand up and buck with it
Just a wonderful experience watching Buckin' Billy Ray. Don't watch every video but the ones i watch are always great.
Just added a raker gauge to my pouch glad I took your advice cuts like butter.👍
Wow that was fun. The saw was on point.
Let her eat.
You just keep on getting closer to the edge of the woods. Watch out for that bear.
Thank you Buckin’
That is one beautiful saw. That thing DIGS hard!
No flying sharks….well why in the heck would i watch then?😁 thanks for the knowledge you impart!👍👍
Hope you're safe from the fires Buckin.
Don't hear much about Jonsereds. The old ones were beasts! My Dad bought one over 40 years ago that cost as much as a saw today.
Too FUNNY! "Just Happy to be anywheres these days" also, I had never heard the birthing story along with the shoulder dislocation thing. Wow man! Good cutting!
You're really making me want to try out one of those 572's 😅
Very impressive saw . Not many Husqvarnas I've heard run that good .
You need to get out more 😅.
Saw sounds great
Cutting is #1 for me Chopping #2 Stacking (has to get done) Great video BBRS

You’re the best👍
Sometimes all that's needed, is to be there
Hey buckin, if you’re working on bringing a muffler line for husky I have a bunch I’d love to stick them on.
So cool! Great looking firewood. Beautiful day, great running Husky. Does it get any better?
"Just a guy working, no cats flying from trees, or dogs smiling or talking. No ones getting eaten by sharks". I notice you didnt mention anything about "no bears" lol.
When’s mark Gona release his website? Can’t wait to get my hands on the 500 pipe
Would that model saw cope as well with that bar without the altered muffler??
You're right I'll watch this later, gotta split/stack! Awesome channel guys!
Great job🤜
Thanks man.
No Billy, I am watching YOU!
166 pounds, awesome job

Yeah I've always feathered the throttle also .
Love ya, Billy!!!❤ I'm glad that bear didn't show up!!
I know the power saw sounds will help keep the bear away but when he starts chopping, the sound will give curiosity to the bear... yikes 🪵🪓
Cutting wood is dangerous enough without a bear
Careful, Buckin' Bigfoot might come and borrow that 572...
Just slapped in a new (4x sharpened) chain on my 371. The Amish guy who does my chains is mad at you now.

Wow nice music ❤
Do you mostly burn fir? And do you but chain in bulk and make it up or?
Rock on
I wonder how effective a chainsaw would be against a bear. Would all of that fur bind up the saw? Glad to see Buckin didn't have to find out 🙂
I wouldn’t wanna try to find out 😂
Heard they love the mixed feul and bar oil eat it up like popcorn
Yikes, now i can't get that image out of my mind 😵💫
BE KIND....OLD MAN WINTER COMING......
