I love your videos and watch frequently but let me tell you guys this animated movie is not reliable though gud for entertainment. It has almost all the fake incidents which would keep u away from reality of ramayan and actual conducts as well as strength of it's characters

When I was learning Sanskrit, we actually read Valmiki's version of Ramayan. A very beautiful poem indeed and some students even cried when mother Sita was kidnapped! But I feel this Japanese version of Ramayan has changed and omitted many parts.. So anyone who wants to experience the true essence..I highly recommend reading the original text (translated in the language you understand ofcourse). Like one of my favourite characters was Bharat and his sacrifice and devotion towards Lord Rama ..which wasn't shown here. He also lived like a hermit for 14 years like his brother. My another favourite character is Indrajeet 😅 ik He was portrayed a villain over here but his story and especially his Dialogue with Ravana before leaving for the battle moved me.

@@heathledger1000 oh yes why not! I cannot really type in Sanskrit here because I do not have a Hindi Keyboard but I'll try my best.
So basically there are different versions of how Indrajit is killed. In the TulsiDas Version he is killed by Lakshman when he was doing the ritual of the Goddess. In the Valmiki version, he dies on the battlefield. I was actually so interested in Ramayan that I read several versions in various languages like Tamil, Telugu and Bengali to analyse the various differences. But one thing most of them had in common was that Indrajit was never portrayed as a" villian". He actually recognized that Lord Rama was not an ordinary human and asked Ravan to retreat. But Ravan due to his ego simply could not. Ravan said to Indrajit" Remember, those who destroy their reputation and legacy with their own hands are not even respected by the Gods. The world will say that Ravan surrendered because he was afraid of Death. If you are tired, both physically and mentally, then go sleep in your luxurious chambers. Your father can and will fight his own battles. Ravana has not lost yet..not till he is dead." Indrajit said that his battle with lakshman will be his last battle, for either Laxman shall survive or he will return with victory. To lakshman on the battlefield he said that even though he knows that he is facing the Gods in this battle, history shall remember Indrajit for not turning back like a coward and bravely fighting for his father's honour( unlike Vibhishan). I feel that if Ramayan was a movie then Indrajit's character development would be people's favourite. He's one of those characters who you hate at first and end up loving later..like Severus Snape.
Ofcourse. Ramayana has about 40,000 verses. People have trouble translating 400 page books into movies, considering that they've done really Great job. I remember growing up watching this movie.
Among the changes they've made was when Angad goes to Ravana with a message of Ram and even Ravana himself can't move Angada's feet.

Hanuman lived on and joined Krishna who appeared 15000 years after Lord Ram, and he is still alive to join Lord Kalki, the next incarnation of lord Vishnu.
Ram didn't die like a human,after his work done on earth he transform into his real self loard Vishnu and return to the heavens. 😃🙏
Fun fact : Sanjivani Mountain (The mountain that Hanuman carried to Sri Lanka) is still there.
And btw the place from where Hanuman "stole" the mountain, is in modern day Dronagiri in Uttarakhand state where there are Govt signs that say Hanuman isn't allowed there. (Since Hanuman is among the few immortal beings in Sanatan Dharm)

Buddha in his Jataka kathas ( stories of his previous lives) explained that in his previous birth he was Rama and that's why Ramayana is so much revered in Buddhist nations like Cambodia and Thailand.

THIS VERSION OF THE RAMAYAN IS TULSI DAS RAMYANA , there are many different forms of Ramayana for different purposes , Tulsi is a medicinal herb found in India and this version was written by Tulsi Das , if you are ever intrested in the accurate and historical events of Ramayana , you can refer to Valmiki Ramayana. Many of the things in this movie happend differently in this version, btw I enjoyed the vid thoroughly , I Pray for your well being and prosperity

Valmiki Ramayan, Tulsi Ramayan, Kambh Ramayan, Adbhut Ramayan, Balram das Ramayan, Krittibas Ramayan, Rama 1 one Ramayan from Indonesia, Telugu, Tamil Ramayan available. Lord Hanuman write a Ramayan and Vyaasji write a Ramayan but he famous for writing Mahabharata and Purans.

A fun fact - Raavan was the most "Gyani" at that time. No body was more wise or knowledgeable than him. In this movie it is not shown. But the "Havan" or "pooja" that Ram did before proceeding to Lanka , Raavan was the Pandit i.e.. He was the priest. He came all the way to make pooja happen as a priest. Also, as he was the priest , Lord Ram touched his feet and Raavan said " vijaya bhava " which can be translated as " shall victory be yours ". That's what mother said

The place where Lord Hanuman lifted the mountain is still in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand in Northern India. The place misses Dronagiri mountain and has a huge clearance from where it was lifted.
The day Ravana was killed is celebrated as Dussehra festival which signifies a victory of good over evil. It is a national holiday in India. The effigies of Ravana are burnt on that day all over India, in different cities in India. The biggest such festival is at the national capital of New Delhi where the President and Prime Minister burn Ravana effigy at a public event.

One of them is the famous sanjivni booti (herb) From the other 3 herbs ive heard Brahmi was used for mental, and physical strength. Till date it's used in Ayurveda. Brahmi is used to treat the nervous system during trauma, shock and grief.

This 2 hour movie is actually a really concise depiction of Ramayana. A lot of things happened after they returned back home. A lot of things happened during Ram's 14 years of banishment. A lot of things happened during the war between Ram and Ravan. In 1987, a show aired in India called "Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan" which became the most watched show of our parent's entire generation. It had 78 episodes covering everything and is still a good show (passed the test of time). The entire nation used to go silent when this show used to air. You can watch it at your own will! Indrajeet/Meghnada (Ravana's Son) was the most powerful human there ever was. He got named as Indra-jeet after defeating Indra in battle and conquering Heaven. He was no ordinary man.

It’s just highlights of Ramayana. A lot had happened. The return of Ram and Sita was celebrated As Diwali and he does rule the kingdom. He got 2 sons but Ram had never seen them because Sita was vanished again from kingdom for Religious reason and Ram has to do that because He is a Noble King. (During those times this would be scandalous) … then she also went to forest again and she gave birth to twin boys luv and Kush .. she was still questioned about staying at the ashram under a saint.. so she said ‘ If I am a pure woman then Mother Earth , where I came from , she will take me back again,,, ‘ thus the earth opened and she went back there … where king janak (her father) found her as a baby when a farmer was ploughing.
When Ram came back Ayodhya he was 39 year old and there after ruled Ayodhya for 11000 years (valmiki Ramayana) and there after return to his original place called vankuntha, place where lord Vishnu live as he was the incarnation of lord Vishnu , not to heaven.
There is a sage Kakbhushundi who has a gift to stand outside of time. Lord Rama blessed him with eternal life and limitless vision for his devotion. Kakbhushundi became an ideal narrator of the events of the life of Lord Rama, and as per the blessing of Rama, he has been given the ability to travel through time and recreate the story of Lord Rama. It is said that he was able to see Ramayana played out eleven times and Mahabharata sixteen times with different life.

Well few of the facts are different from the animation
1. Hanuman didn't knew which would be correct herb so he actually took the entire mountain with him.
2. Ram was beaten so much and was confused how to beat Ravan he didn't knew how to actually kill him, it was actually Vibhishan who revealed Ravan's secret to Ram that he need to impale Ravan from his stomach in order to kill em.
3.after rescuing Sita Rama insisted Sita for "Agni pariksha" it is a test in which Sita had to sit under fire untill she dies if i talk about it accurately, it was believed that if Ravan had his way with her she will not be accepted as Ram's wife but she was pure and was not touched she will be accepted by mother earth, either way she had to die in order to prove she was not touched and forced to slept with Ravan idk how to put this explanation without sounding too offensive but you know what i'm trying to say
4. As for fourth point i would like to tell you how Ram joined(Died) Heaven. Well when he was finally ruling Ayodhya a messenger sent by god's to Ram telling him about his duty, which is completed, his destiny was to kill Ravan and it was accomplished already. To explain this the messenger put a condition to Ram that he wants to talk to him alone if anyone interrupt them then Ram must kill em, unfortunately Lakshman heard them talking and Ram was sad to know that he must kill his brother but he can't so he went into ocean to suicide basically so rest of the followers of Ram end their lives with Ram. It is believe that Lakshman also died few months later because of absence of his brother Ram, well Lakshman was a part of Ram too so that's obv he will die with Ram too.
5. Last but not least Kumbhkaran was very noble and very respectful warrior and his behaviour was very nice, he knew fighting Ram is not correct and Ravan is doing wrong things He did told Ram that he Don't want this but he is doing his "Dharam"(duty). He was unfortunately killed by Ram even though they both don't wanna fight.

When ram returned to heaven means that Ram give up the avatar as he himself god vishnu , he gave the life of Lord ram after years of ruling as a king , he returned to his abode vaikuntha (gods place) as lord vishnu resides there..

It is difficult to find those herbs.and that medicine was made by mixture of some herbs,as of now because of snow and movement of trenches they might be deep under ground or covered some where deep in snow.

Ravana was a Dashanana, meaning ten headed man. He earned this boon from Lord Brahma, the creator through his hard penance.
Mother Sita was born from Earth... hence at the time of departure she voluntarily went inside Earth
This is not the original version of Ramayana. It is simplified version for outsiders. The end is different and tragic.
Ram did not accept Sita the way it is depicted in this animation. As she was abducted ans was held captive by another man, away from her husband, Ram did not accept Sita till she proved her purity by going through an insulating trial by fire. Even later the people of Ayodhaya kept questioning Sita's character. So to keep his honour intact Ram banished Sita who was pregnant with his child to jungle.
Away from the malignant minds of the people of Ayodhaya and Ram Sita takes shelter at the Ashram of sage Valmiki (the original writer of Ramayana) where she becomes mother of twins Lav and Kush.
Though Lav and Kush learns Ramayana (story of Ram) from sage Valmiki, they were unaware that their mother is Sita and Ram is their father.
They even defeat Ram in battle. But afterwards when rishi Valmiki informs Ram that Lav and Kush are his sons and requested him to take back Sita as his wife, Ram asked Sita to prove purity of her character again infront of everyone.
Sita who considered to be the epitome of purity and endurance could not endure the insult and prayed mother earth to take her away. Even mother Earth could not endure the insult of her daughter Sita and takes her back.
Later Ram had to banish Lakshman from Ayodhaya (banishment from one's land was equivalent to death sentence) and then ended own life by immerging his body in Sarayu river ( Jal Samadhi is as described in scriptures as suicide is a negative word).
