I understand the frustrations however you don’t want Vietnam to operate as efficiently as SIN. What will happen is that all of the infrastructure affordability in Vietnam will skyrocket. That includes the luxury of youself being able to live well in Vietnam. Many foreigners are there because of the current economic, social and political climate giving them a decent and attractive comfortable environment. As you can see the current property market in Vietnam remains high although the overall real estate industry looks unstable. This is one of the indication that the economy is progressing beyond wages resulting in serious inflation as there’s a link between economic progression exceeding wages. Personally I like Vietnam the way it is! Btw your audio is still affected by the ambient loud noises at times when you go near them. Thanks for the info and get a wireless noise reduction mic dude!
I had two separate international guests change their plans and not come to Vietnam this year as a result of the visa complexities. One could not get the evisa in time for his flight window, and the other did not include all names in passport on the evisa form and was denied boarding. It’s costing Vietnam tourist dollars but with the systems here and 100 million people it’s really NFG.
Guess I am one of the lucky ones. I have gotten 4 visas online since 2020 with no trouble at all. The longest I have waited at Tan Sanute is 45 minutes and the shortest is 10 minutes. Maybe it doesn't seem that long because I have to wait from 1 to 18 months to see a doctor at the Veterans Administration.
If you’re coming from America, go to your travel agent, get a five year visa for 75 bucks. Sure, it cost a little more than the 30 day, but it’s five friggin years.
@@CharlieVN I got one at the travel agency myself for the 5 year visa. I have a feeling it has nothing to do with being Vietnamese. It sounds weird if they only allow it for Vietnamese Americans.
I received my 90 day tourist evisa from USA and have printed it out.My question can I arrive Ho Chi Minh with valid passport and printed hotel confirmation and printed evisa letter with a one way ticket into Vietnam.I really don’t know how long I will stay (seeing if I like It ).I heard you might have to have a flight already booked out of the country (and proof !)
Visa for Vietnam currently extremely good for some passport holders. 90 day Vietnamese visa and 45 visa free, whereas for Thailand UK citizens can only go for 30 days max, (60 is possible but only apply for visa whilst in the UK) so compared to Thailand, Vietnam is much better for long term travelling can can stay 90 days per trip :)
I was shocked to see my Thai E-visa get blocked the other day. US citizen, been to Thailand many times in the past w/o issue. Does anyone have the current (August/18) E-visa link to Vietnam?
No different than Russia or North Korea. One party political system is always on deaf ear to these complaints. Nothing will change until there is real election to bring in new leadership that usher in change in how they operate.
Bro, you are exactly right as far as the rip offs in Vietnam. I have gotten into arguments with so many tax drivers and different merchants because they are clearly overcharging and delivering. I got so frustrated that I left the country a month early.
Couldn't agree more on the immigration lines. Sort this stuff out. make it efficient. No one wants to stand for 1 hour in a line for such a long flight.
Never had any of that experiences at the airport and I was on the left side of the road there , can’t wait for the new airport soon ! Catch ya one of these times
Chris, I loves Vietnam but immigration at Tan Son Nhat is hell. They makes you waited for ever while on the phone. I hated that why I haven’t go back to see friends. Thank you for saying that. I loves your video.
The "dudes" checking visitors' passports take their time because they're disgusted by the lack of "tips" from the incoming visitors. The last time I went, we had a staring contest before he gave up and allowed me and my family through. I refused to offer a "tip" in exchange for expedient service 😂
@MrMeldarionx They, of course, don't directly verbalize their intent. To do so would jeopardize their job. The closest to being direct would be to brazenly ask for a "coffee." It also has to do with your nationality, too. Especially if you're an overseas Vietnamese, at times they will take "extra time" to view your passport.

Do they still require travel insurance with covid19 coverage? Some websites still says it needs but some websites say they don't.
Nope
Very well said. Until the Vietnamese Immigration understand the basic concept of Customer Service they'll never get on top of visitor numbers.
Do i need a visa as a US citizen to visit vietnam less than 12 days? thank you in advance i cant find solid information
What happened to zbatz branding?

For viet's yes
@@fatandbroke is that true? I was born in America 😂😂😂. I got one for my niece as well, her parents weren’t even involved.
@@CharlieVN as long as viet , Vietnam is pretty good giving the 5 year exemption then. White people cannot get this etc
@@fatandbroke that is interesting, will see when my cousin goes, mixed kids with a non Vietnamese last name.

you will be fine. just say your doing land crossing if asked and exploring
Thank you.
They could even do like Indonesia. Just pay for the visa when you arrive at the airport. Simple.

I am Asian American and really hope that Vietnam will grant Free Visa for USA...........soon!
I would love to see that as well but not likely to happen until the US becomes more level with the visa fees I would think.
Sorry to be asking you this question Are you a dreamer.?
No. Nor am I an instigator.

Visa not processed at weekends . 7 + days during Tet. . Cambodian evisa site takes so much just from your passport page.
Bro go visit India or Korea. Might as well
Yep agree it needs redone asap
Hi I am from Australia, and I had to get a Visa as a tourist. I got 90 days. We have to pay for our involvement in the Vietnam war. What do you think
The 90 day visa is not for all countries. Fiji passport holders only get 2 weeks. No way to determine how long each country gets.
Couldn't agree more on the immigration lines. Sort this stuff out. make it efficient. No one wants to stand for 1 hour in a line for such a long flight.
Hi from Uk met you few years ago in Saigon shop
Never had any of that experiences at the airport and I was on the left side of the road there , can’t wait for the new airport soon ! Catch ya one of these times
There's an internal memo that they will at some point only allow two 90 day visas in one year..
Especially during tet, made the visa run take 15 days
Just one of those things. They care more about manufacturing than bringing on backpackers and mongers.
Immigration in Saigon is the worst out of 33 countries I have visited
Singapore took 4 minutes from arrival hall to exit
