Seems to me that they rolled up with the intention of doing as much damage to this poor soul as they possible could. Why oh why are these scumbags still on the force???
Because they made good arrest that DA has approved (this is what defines good arrest - not RUclips comments, even when there are thousands) . Who and why would toss them out of the force?

One late afternoon just this past summer, I was out in the grass circle at the end of my street talking with a neighbor. We were laughing a talking and just enjoying the cooler temps of the late afternoon. We notice a sheriff drive by our road about three times before he turns to confront us. We were expecting some small talk with this officer maybe him looking for some information about the unruly neighbor a street over from us. The sheriffs first words are "what are you guys doing out here" his tone was all wrong, I'm in my 50's and my neighbor is in his early 40s. Then he preceded to say "we got a call about a disturbance" I knew this was a lie. Neighbor says "we haven't seen or heard any disturbance" then came "where do you guys live?" I blurted out "I live in the moment " being the smart ars I am. Then came the ID request. I didst have my wallet and told him even if I had it he wouldn't see it. "Well when we get a call we have to ID the subjects" I let him know I am no subject to any man. And if they really had a call to report us it would be recorded correct. He didn't answer. Did you really get a call because we know law enforcement is allowed to lie to civilians. To that my neighbor and I resumed our conversation completely ignoring this idiot. He even faked called in for backup and transport for 2 individuals. He would ask us something and we never acknowledged further. After about 5 more minutes he yelped his siren a couple of times and drove off. We just busted out laughing. We waited untill he drove out the main entrance before going inside. He was just flexing his perceived authority. Spoke with a sheriff buddy of mine a few weeks later, it seems that deputy has a reputation for making questionable stops. My question to my buddy "why won't anybody confront him?" No answer
Loved your story and how you handled it. Obvious harassment thank you for sharing.❤ I commented on this video, and I’ve no doubt I’ll get shit for it. I think the man was absolutely wrong to not produce his iD. Someone had called them for suspicious activity. I think this story is a definite stretch! Not to mention if I’d been broke down for 7 hrs and had nothing to hide I’d of been thrilled to see a sheriff.😅 lol Have an amazing weekend.
@@Montana-3 I agree with you to some extent, I think the issue occured when the officer was refused I'd. Officers are trained to take control of situations and id refusal breaks their programming. They feel (perhaps) civilians deserve no privacy. If we as a free people do not exercise our constitutional rights, we will lose them. I applaud everyone that sacrifices their safety and freedom when they stand up to unlawful orders. I completely support all of the 1st amendment auditors out there who flex our rights. I even support the auditors that I find disgusting and behave poorly, it teaches police that they are not always going to be treated fairly and in that th err y can learn a valuable lesson. I don't hate police and most of my interactions with law enforcement are benign. However I've been threatened on my own commercial property by a state trooper for asking him to leave my parking lot. I was polite explaining I had a large group due in and needed the space. He was a total douche for no reason and was completely in the wrong. He was blocking half my parking lot.
I "lost" my truck when it broke down as my boyfriend andvi were doing layndry, store, errands. My boyfriend was walking to a friend's house who had a tow truck to help us move my vehicle, I was stopped by Daytona Beach Florida cops and told I was under arrest for DUI. I wasn't driving, I was outside the vehicle, I was on crutches having just had knee surgery 3 days prior and my boyfriend had been driving. The officer yanked my crutches out from under me telling me I had to perform field sobriety tests, causing me to stumble, which caused me to rip the staples in my knee as a result. My knee was killing me, bleeding down my leg, i couldn't perform those tests because i couldn't walk without my crutches, I was taken to jail (stated i refused the field sobriety tests) my truck was towed and by the time my boyfriend got back to where my truck broke down (drive shaft fell out at a stop light), both myself and my truck weren't there, I wasn't allowed to call anyone, in the holding cell phones were turned off and I continued to ask to call my boyfriend to let him know what was going on and was never allowed my phone call. I was threatened to get tazed if I didn't stop bothering them because I wasn't getting to use the phone, as I was told; until after 1st appearance the next morning. I'm diabetic and when I informed the officers of this fact and I needed to get something to eat, again I was threatened to get tazed. End result charges were dropped, but no one could seem to remember or know which company they called to tow my truck and by the time I did find where it was the fees were so high I couldn't get it back, lost my job, as a direct result ended up getting evicted because I lived outside of the public transportation areas and couldn't get to work (my truck was the only vehicle between myself and boyfriend). NEVER got my vehicle back, all of our laundry was in the back, our groceries lost. Could not find an attorney that would help either. Florida make up individual rules as they go along. This was in 2004, Volusia County.
Right. Why should they have to follow the law ? They suffer no consequences most of the time when they break it. When a person has to ID is one of the most basics of law , it’s not all that difficult to understand. To be that ignorant or stupid is unacceptable. Or maybe they knew they were breaking the law and don’t care because they have QI and know that the DA will not prosecute their crimes. What these cops did to this citizen is criminal .
I don't think QI should be completely eliminated but LEOs shouldn't be able to use ignorance as a defense since citizens are not allowed to. QI should only be allowed in certain limited situations.
Charged? Fired? Sued? Never work in "Law Enforcement" ever again? This happens millions of times to each and every one of us. Never happened to you? Your time is fast approaching!! Nothing will change. America is not a free country.
@@gracieg7601 Actually they are just tired of dealing with stupid people who think they know the law and really don't know SHIT, So its just faster to take them to jail than argue with the idiots.
Never, ever show your ID to a law enforcement agent if you haven’t been detained. NEVER. if you haven’t committed a crime, cops don’t need to know ANYTHING about you. This is your constitutional right. Use it or lose it.
exactly because they will go look as far back as MINOR CHARGES and pretend they can use that against you. Along with your address that you may have traveled away from (which isn't a crime) but these things are easy targets.
"use it or lose it" Maybe already too late. Most people view the police as defenders of america. But, I have gone to jail for not showing my id, the court did not know what to do so cut me loose. I refuse to show id. Most americans do not have any idea. Sad but true.
Never give them a damned thing unless you are lawfully ARRESTED..... NO OBLIGATION to identify unless lawfully arrested, Brown v Texas, 4th and 5th and state law. AND IF LAWFULLY ARRESTED, the RIGHT to REMAIN SILENT INVOKES..... NO OBLIGATION to answer questions per: Watts v. Indiana, 338 U.S. 49 (1949), was a United States Supreme Court case in which Justice Robert Jackson famously opined, "To bring in a lawyer means a real peril to solution of the crime because, under our adversary system, he deems that his sole duty is to protect his client-guilty or innocent-and that, in such a capacity, he owes no duty whatever to help society solve its crime problem. Under this conception of criminal procedure, any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to police under any circumstances." In this case, a defendant was subjected to rigorous interrogation methods, including being forced to sleep on the floor, resulting in a confession to having committed murder. The Supreme Court ruled that the confession was involuntary and reversed his conviction. Terry v Ohio 392 U.S. 1 "Of course, the person stopped is not obliged to answer, answers may not be compelled and refusal to answer furnishes no basis for an arrest, although it may alert the officer to the need for continued observation." “The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that refusal to answer law enforcement questions cannot form the basis of reasonable suspicion. See Florida v. Bostick, 501 U.S. 429, 437, 111 S. Ct. 2382, 115 L.Ed.2d 389 (1991) ("We have consistently held that a refusal to cooperate, without more, does not furnish the minimal level of objective justification needed for a detention or seizure.") - U.S. v. Santos 403 F.3d 1120 (2005).
Law enforcement agencies across the country continually overstep their boundaries and in the process, violate the citizen's Constitutional rights. Great reporting Taya! 👏 ✌️
The problem goes beyond the cop on the street.. The prosecutors & judges condone it. The heads of police hire these thugs because they're thugs. They train them to be thugs, they don't hold them accountable.
@@jupitercyclops6521 Correct, they are well aware if who they are hiring. These thugs are also straight up race soldiers with sometimes unresolved psychological issues.
I remember the days when we were broke down on the side of the road, either the neighbors would come out and help, or the police would stop by and help without asking for your license. People just helped people. Cops included. This current police state is hideous at best. I am ashamed of the way this country jails people so quickly. Jails were never made for these reasons. They were designed to house really bad people who do really bad things. Not broken down citizens on the side of the road.
Jails are absolute money makers for the police. ATM machines. Hell, now you have to PAY THEM for your food and lodging. That you PAY for with your taxes!
I'm almost 60 year old and I like to ask you one question. Why do the cops today have no compassion, understanding and resort to inflicting severe beatings and taking a life means nothing to them they actually laugh about it. Oh and then they have tattoos all over there arms. And yes there's a reason for everything. Why can't they be good humans as we need good citizen with badge and gun.
These replies here almost border on "Class Action". All though I understand your sentiments, not all Police fall into the category of "Thug", They may however highlight the difference between a professional Police Officer and a politically elected or appointed wannabe.
@@shamrocm A real "retired Trooper" would not engage in such incendiary commentary. A mature view of the situation would acknowledge that police enter these interactions with no knowledge of the person in front of them and that any resistance to their efforts to clarify serves only to heighten their suspicions. We should always remember that a law abiding citizen in these confrontations is risking only the possibility of a little social embarrassment while the police are potentially risking their lives.
Hey Stephen, I appreciate the work you do alongside Taya. I don't believe these videos will affect change to the point where politicians will change their acts, but you are doing good on the part of citizens that have been asleep for so long or just flat out don't know their rights. Hope you two keep safe and keep up the great work.
Things won't change because politicians see what's going on. Change will only happen when we the people stand united against it. If & when that happens, change will be easy & non violent.
We’re trying in Colorado. Last year we introduced Colorado state senate bill 2021-62. It didn’t pass because rural Colorado is Republican dominate and we have similar idiots to Boebert in our state legislature. It would limit what you can even be arrested for, empty the jails, end cash bail and a few other things. It’s not for lack of trying. People need to mobilize and act.
politicians aren't depriving citizens of their rights, or, lives on the side of the road. that would be the police doing that, sherwood, or, is it cop?
@@frankfacts6207 @frank facts question to you, would you consider a mayor a politician? There will be a day when AI will be the cops on the streets, programmed with the entire Penal Code, Civil Rights, and Jurisprudence, and that will be the day when some of us will be asking for the old-fashioned cops. Why? Because of human emotions like Forgiveness, Compassion, etc. Like I said before; I'm not a cop, but I also know that without Law; there is nothing but chaos. If one of our sons or daughters were murdered or raped, we wouldn't mind if they ask possible perpetrators for Ids or if they frisk them; all we want is justice. Law-abiding citizens are not afraid of handling Ids to the police; perpetrators do because that's how they are caught; they have warrants, are fugitives, evade child support, are drug dealers, etc.

@@robertlugo6564It would be much easier to stomach if it were AI /robots treating the people this way. These officers should instead have ASKED this man if he needed help, if he was ok, if they could call someone to assist him. That would be the human, decent thing to do. Instead they unlawfully demand his ID, then threaten him with arrest for fabricate charges and victimize him. No, sir, we do not need individuals acting under color of law, appearing as military decked out in weapons, targeting and victimizing us. There ARE plenty of active and cold cases that these law enforcement officers could be working on. Instead they use their time on duty to roam around seeking to generate income revenue by writing excessive infractions (many fabricated) on citizens. Inconveniencing them, detaining them at length and often arresting them if only to immediately release them once booked, just so they can tow their vehicles (and do a inventory search and find something to add to their charges). Knowing this causes a major hardship on these individuals, it’s punitive in nature. Some are assaulted, or worse. It’s getting to be far too common, and thanks to cop watchers and body cams, documented for the world to see. People are seeing these things firsthand, which is something new. Hopefully change will come. QI needs to be abolished. I used to agree with QI, but no more. It’s time the LEO pays the debt for his crimes against the people, instead of taxpayers footing the bill for their lawlessness. Only when it costs them something, will they will change.
His car broke down!!! He wasn’t doing anything but waiting on a tow truck!! The officer was WRONG!! There was no need for that and then try to make up something?? What was he supposed to be doing? Then bogus charges?? Obstructing traffic? No cars around. Not even while they were there. Car towed two towns away? Ridiculous is an understatement. Based on the interview of the victim, there is no basis for this comment in this situation.

Not good. Law enforcement should be there to help guys like this. Not to exercise force, intimidate and arrest for no crime. Not a hard concept to understand.
I have to agree with Heather, He will not win, it is the Law, he Broke the Law and he has absolutely no grounds for the lawsuit, he violated the law by obstructing the officers. he impeded them from doing their job plain and simple and he went to jail for it.
So much respect to you Taya and Stephen going directly to these legally questionable police departments for interviews and answers. Please be careful as you both will be in the Lion’s Den.
Really, obviously your one of those sheeple I hear so much about, educate yourself on the Law regarding identification upon request by law enforcement, because Taya here doesn't have a clue what the law states, and will get you put in jail pretty quick.
The comment made by the sargeant is the scary one. "you can go with the programme and ID or you will be put in handcuffs" Another one was " for suspicion we'll use stalking or burglary, how about that" in an area where there's no people or buildings !!!!!!! How is this justified ? 3 cops, armed to the teeth, harrassing a citizen for breaking down and quietiy waiting for his tow truck, all because of the heinous crime of exercising his rights by not showing his papers that the law backs him on. The fact that all this was instigated by a sargeant, who should know the ID laws inside out purely by the fact he has 3 stripes, is contemptable and the actual law had nothing to do with it. I bet all 3 ended up in their local bar that night getting free drinks, high fiving each other on what they did to this innocent member of the public in the land of the free.
And both of them were absolutely correct in what they said, because normal people who do not or have not broken the law follow the nice officers request to produce identification when asked. this who do not are the idiots and criminals who normally have something to hide, like outstanding warrants, evidence of crimes and others who are completely stupid like this guy who has no clue that showing Identification upon request is THE LAW. Its like a STOP sign in many ways, you see a STOP sign you STOP, you get asked for your identification by the officers while performing their duties YOU GIVE IT TO THEM! being asked for your identification just like a STOP sign its not a suggestion its the LAW so comply and unlike this Dumbass you wont go to jail.

It was communicated several times by the law enforcement who were at the scene they were called. Is and was the information on who and when it was reported of "suspicious activity" been VERIFIED, obtained or obtainable publicly?
Since when is standing next to your own car "Suspicious activity"? If these Cops had a braincell between them, they'd of run his plate known exactly who he was & called him a Tow truck. 🤦🏿♂️
Hay Brain child, with the guy refusing to show identification to the officers even if they had run the vehicles plates for registered owner they still could not prove he was the rightful owner.anyone can check the name of the owner by any number of items in the car like the registration or car insurance, I can tell you I am that person but unless i give them my Identification how else can they prove it?? They can not. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
How many people standing beside cars on road ways are actually people looking to break into the car and steal things, More than I can count, I am sure the officers would be glad to help the gentleman once they can confirm he is the cars rightful owner, but gee how are they going to do that if they can not identify the man and compare the DMV registration to his identification, simple they can't. In order to confirm the vehicles rightful owner they needed the mans identification, why you ask, simple, because Anyone can beak into a car and rifle through the glove box to see the name of the owner on the insurance form. so now how does the officers confirm the information of registration, through the individuals drivers license of course, gee why didn't I think if that.
I was setting in the back of a courtroom in 2019 waiting to talk to the judge about an estimate matter. Any Funding should NOT ever be tied to anything they do. You have Police on power trips seeking to seize money. Even risking lives doing no knock raids thinking it will give them an advantage taking the money they believe someone has. At the end of the day, they think they are doing a thing good. When the truth is they are degrading society. They target victims. Then use those victims to go after other victims. If someone is taking advantage of someone thru loan sharking you don't go after the person that got taken advantage of, you go after the person taken advantage of them. So why do they go after victims of other things that aren't legal? They might try to say those things increase the odds of someone committing a crime. But, there is no guarantee they will. It's just lazy going after them before that. Going after victims the way they do also increases someone's odds of committing a crime. It makes things so much worse than they should be. I've seen good people die because they think they are scum & don't want anyone to find out they became (a victim) the scum they believe they have become. I even offered to do everything I could so they could keep this secret. Things wouldn't be as bad if they were viewed for what they are. This would automatically decrease the current level of victims, because a good bit would just stay "Nothing". Now we have a good bit of things skipping that nothing stage & making victims. I really can't believe that no one has realized this long before now. It's the belief that things are bad. When things can't be bad. They can be used in good or bad ways. Believing a thing is bad is silly. Something "Bad" comes from what we do as people. Things can never be bad. Just the way we choose to use them can be.

The Former officer's...letter to a Auditor. As a former officer (who has learned a lot from 1st Amendment Activists) I believe that what you are doing is long overdue. I have been watching all of you guys for a long time, and there are times when I see myself in the young officers who make fools of themselves for your cameras. Twenty years ago in my academy we didn't really spend much time on civil rights, which I see now is a shame. For the most part police officers are out there every night largely unsupervised, and for generations we have all been taught to "listen to the police". This combination is just one of the reasons that police misconduct and abuse is so common. It has happened over time, and we are used to it, and we just blindly obey without protest while our civil rights continue to be violated. Actually, many people arent even aware that police are violating their civil rights!...and so it goes unreported. Many times the police arent even aware they're in violation. They have learned the behavior from FTO's (Field Training Officers), and they are following the examples set by older officers who have learned it the same way for generations. It has never been questioned, and is now basically unwritten policy . I hope you will keep filming and bringing attention to these injustices. I really believe that you all are making a difference. Your videos are informative for both the police AND citizens. We all benefit from your work. When you hold up a mirror to police and they see themselves blatantly disregarding civil rights, being overbearing, unnecessarily confrontational, and just plain rude it forces them to take a hard look at themselves through our eyes. And I think most of them time, whether they immediately show it or not, they dont like what they see, and it may change how they conduct themselves on their next interaction, and the next, etc. It took decades of abuse, ignorance, and blind-eyes for the system to become this mangled. Now that you (and others like you) are putting a spotlight on it for the world to see I believe change is inevitable.

When I came onto the job in the 90's, demanding id from nearly everyone was the standard, everyday thing to do...Older, experienced cops did it, so did I... Pretextual car stops that were mainly about running everyones name, passengers too... Searched every car we could...pulled people out of cars...cuffed people "just for my safety"... and all that bullcrap and a bag of chips.. Im not proud of it... I justified it to myself because i worked in a high crime inner city that was in the throes of a savage crack problem and also breaking its homicide record.. 10, 15, 20 calls a night... Everything i did was rationalized by somehow connecting it to my "safety" which WAS not bs... Ive survived a great many violent encounters involving someone legitimately trying to hurt me or worse.. Im feeling inspired... When i find the balls, i plan on getting a gopro and trying to do a little auditing of my own...partially to cleanse my conscience, but also because I'm older and more humble now and I want to be part of this movement in hopes that preserving and defending the constitution becomes the normal thing. I think there needs to be a sweeping, nationwide effort to retrain every single cop in America on constitutional law....especially the 1st. 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 14th amendments.. Like seriously....send them ALL to a comprehensive in-service and make them pass relevant, real world tests before they can answer calls. I want to audit, but I know that being former law enforcement will probably get me labeled a turncoat and put a target on me.. I would be good at it though....ive been on both sides. this channel inspires... The former Cop's...letter to a former officer..... THE FREE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!! We see all Bad Apple's all Day and more: Investigative Copwatch 1st 2nd and 4th Amendment Auditors, We are exposing Sociopathic uneducated violent public servants abusing people.:, Always Record The Police!!! Never stop loving your Freedom!!!
So you admit Chase is a frauditor who was really doing an "audit" and not really broken down? The Left has fallen for these hucksters hook, line and sinker.
.This is THE CREW PT 2 Your 4 or 5 camera drivers will proceed to their assigned spots a few minutes before the fun begins. These are spots that are away from the location chosen and hidden as much as possible from view but not in a way or position that would cause an alert to be sent out to anyone for any reason. These “Spots” Must be Public Domain and Public Property and must be able to be seen from the chosen location and visa-versa. That’s the purpose of cameras with Tele-Foto zoom lenses. Be Sure to Put Black Electrical Tape over all the Camera Cue Lights. Ya’no those red flashing lights on the camera that shows you’re recording. Use cameras with nothing at all in the memory. No personal phones with any info in them. Everyone is in place, all equipment is working properly, radio checks thru the head sets, EVERYONE KNOWS TO STAY FOCUSED ON THE IDIOT. Roll Cameras, The IDIOT arrives and proceeds to do his or her thing which is shooting video/ pictures from a Public Domain/ Public Property area of whatever the camera/person can see. THIS IS A TOTALLY LEGAL ACTIVITY PROTECTED BY THE US CONSTITUTION AND US SUPREME COURT, A Totally Legal activity of anything you can see from a public Domain/Public Property area. At this point, I should mention that no matter what happens during the next critical time period the CREW should stay put. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND CONCENTRATE ON THE INSTANT ISSUE AND THAT IS SHOOTING THE VIDEO OF WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH THE INTERACTIONS OF THE COPS AND THAT IDIOT. Basically, the Crew should NEVER let anyone know of the CREW and the Crew should Never say anything except to the attorneys. When the authorities arrive, THE IDIOT, all wired up for wireless microphones as in 2, body cam and hand held cam, should be ready to stand his ground and be as antagonistically polite as possible within the boundaries of the law. If possible, know the state statutes that apply to your location, situation and get busy. The Idiot has the Constitution on his side so a 1st Amendment to Freedom of Speech means YOU can basically say Anything you want to the cops. And I mean ANYTHING. Each situation is different so basically keep your mouths shut, don’t even acknowledge their, the authorities, presents. They will do the rest. They will either be obliged to “Kick Rocks” or “Kick Idiot”. Remember the more the IDIOT gets the shit kicked out of him the more money they will have to bark up. Remember the cops/authorities are Criminals, Illiterate Fools, Jerks, Assholes, Dumbed Down Americans, Power Hungry Dick Heads, Corrupt Gun Toting THUGS, and TYRANTS and they will prove it in their actions. Just wait, watch and see for yourself. The worse it gets the better for the IDIOT and the Crew and the attorneys. Who knows, The IDIOT, may end up with a broken leg, arm, ruptured spleen, broken ribs and punctured lung, pissing blood for a month, black eyes, broken jaw, ruptured eardrum, dick kneed up into yer asshole, concussion, contusions, second and third circumcision, but remember, You’ll get over all that when the check comes wire transfered into your bank account. As the action plays out with the Idiot and the cops the Crew will just concentrate on the VIDEO and AUDIO action all the way to the end. That will be determined by the injuries to the Idiot. He will either get handcuffed to the gurney as he goes to the hospital of just cuffs into the back of the cop car spitting blood while his eye is hanging on his cheek. Long after the cops have lied in statements and police reports, have completed with misrepresentations and embellishments to everyone, and the Mayor and the Prosecutor all have made their false statements, embellished accounts to various news media. The Chief of Police or The Sheriff have made their BS Statements to the media. The cops have all slapped each other on the back a hundred times. Then the real story comes out thru the attorneys that represent the Idiot and Crew members, thru a leaked video and short story about the incident to the local and national news media. If and When you end up in court, little chance of that happening, cuz’a’outa court settlement will happen way before any trial happens, the verdict will be in Your Favor because the judge will have your 7 good quality video camera angles with excellent quality audio showing the TRUE COLORS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. The best part is they brought it on themselves, luckily there were 7 cameras watching. Your attorneys will have a field day in court with the CREW'S good video and audio work. The cops, Criminals On Patrol, will get their just rewards by being disgraced, fired, bad press for their law enforcement department, divorced from wife or husband, Gay cops too, kids will hate daddy forever, illegal drug use and alcohol abuse follows, Jail and/or Prison, no more guns as they have been charged and convicted of a felony and hopefully Prison, or possibly Suicide. Good riddance to bad cops. If there was 10,000 Crews all around the country doing this in every major city, small towns, National Parks, and almost anywhere there are Gun toting law enforcement/ criminals on patrol and with insurance claims against the cops/taxpayers in the hundreds of Millions of Dollars happening every week then the cops will be put in their place. If this is done right just about EVERY SITUATION YOU SET UP FOR WILL SHOW THE COPS WALK RIGHT INTO A MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT. YOU could MAKE THE CREW A FULL TIME JOB and travel state to state gathering a bunch of lawsuits, they'll settle out of court IF YOU HAVE THE PROPER AUDIO AND VIDEO. You will have to hire a legal staff for all the paperwork coming from the courthouse. Laws will change. Qualified Immunity disappears, The cops will have to be nice for a change. I still won’t trust them. COPS/ AUTHORITIES IN GENERAL ARE THE ENEMY OF THE CITIZENS/ PEOPLE.
I'm gonna give this to ya. THE CREW PT 1. OK folks here’s how ya do this 1st Amendment Audit thing as far as I can see it. Gather up 5 or 6 friends with BALLS and NO FEAR that want to have some fun and possibly end up with a bunch of money for your efforts. Then gather up some money to purchase 7 good quality video cameras, with telephoto and steady cam imagery, with night vision if possible, 4 cell phones, 2 body cameras, with extra batteries for all cameras, 3 wireless mics and 2 audio headsets, a couple tripods, 3 wireless microphones, a parabolic microphone for long distance audio recording and plenty of SD cards for plenty of recorded video memory and 4 Voice Activated radio communications headsets works great too. You can whisper to each other to better stay informed. Your “Crew” may or may not have any experience at “driving a camera”, that means operating a camera under many different situations with excellent resulting video. For instance: standing still, walking slow, walking fast, running, holding a camera at different elevations and aiming cameras at different things you can’t see and you understanding what the camera sees even though you are not looking at the view finder. You don’t have to look at the viewfinder, the camera will see what you aim it at. If you’re good you’ll even get the necessary Light, Frame and Focus in these actions and positions without even thinking about it because it comes naturally. You want the best recording possible so proper Lighting of the subject matter is Very Important, Framing of the subject or item of interest is also Very Important and Focus of the well-lit area of interest, at night under a street light is as good as you’re going to get and Framed subject matter is Most Important with as little camera shaking and movement as possible The Crew should watch a bunch of videos of cop block, Audit the Audit, Bay Area Transparency, Direct D, and other 1st Amendment Auditors videos, there’s a bunch of’em and any other confrontations with the cops that others have shot and posted. Critique their videos and make the driving of your camera skills better than theirs. Always remember, even in tricky situations, LIGHT, FRAME and FOCUS. I’ll say it again, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO KEEP THE ACTION COVERED, DON’T LOSE ATTENTION OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THE CAMERA, REMEMBER THE CAMERA. LIGHT, FRAME, FOCUS. You may miss a split second of video that turns out the be very important. This next step may take some time but it is the most valuable and most important issue. Driving the camera. That’s camera operation. Get the Crew together and go out and practice walking, forward and backward, over your shoulder of what’s behind you, running, holding the camera at different angles, over your shoulder shooting backwards as you walk forward, like from behind a wall or fence with the camera as the only thing above the wall as you are hidden behind the wall. The camera will be hard to see but you may be easy to see. After practicing a dozen times or more, Watch the Playback and hone your camera driving skills to the point you are good at it and your Playback meets a certain criterion. Remember Light, Frame, Focus. You Tube viewers will appreciate a good quality video of the IDIOT getting the shit kicked out of him by the cops. When you think you have it down pretty good and you think you’re ready, formulate a plan. Pick a location for an exercise. Draw straws, flip a coin or do what you have to do to get a volunteer from your Crew to be the, for lack of a better term, “IDIOT” . That person will be the guy or girl? to go into harm's way. 4 or 5 of your Crew will get set up in different spots for the best camera angles of the chosen location. Someone should be aware of what you’re doing and be, for instance, at home, waiting for the phone call. Just a necessary precaution for the Crews benefit. A lawyer on retainer with his 24 hours phone number, WATCHING THE LIVE STREAM TOO, wouldn’t hurt, is a good thing to have ready too. Go get acquainted with a bail bondsman. Have one or 2 of them on retainer. Be sure to park any transportation you came in a few blocks away in a legal area away from the chosen location so it can’t be towed for being parked illegally, a car of a friend not associated with the CREW would work too.Make sure your vehicle has been cleaned inside and out of anything that can be construed as a weapon, dope, anything and wiped down of all fingerprints. Better yet have someone drop you off like uber.
When you hire cops that are stupid you can't fix stupid so they just transfer them from one Union to another unit or police station to police station and get them
Anytime a cop says "you can go with the program" or "we can do this the easy way or the hard way", you know they're getting ready to do something that they HAVE to be fired for.
Wow, I think I had an encounter with the same sheriffs deputy 2 days ago. He was off duty and riding his BMW bike. I was in line at the Poway Costco when a person on a motorcycle decided he had the right to cut to the front of the line. I wasn’t about to let this lack of decency go unchallenged. I got out of my car and calmly asked him why did he think he had the right to cut to the front of the line in disregard of so many others that had been waiting inline. I then went back to my vehicle. He then identified himself as a sheriff deputy He then decided to inspect my vehicle for licensing. All I can say is these type persons are attracted to police work. He would have given me a ticket but was clearly off duty and had been called out for his entitled behavior which could only backfire on him. Didn’t he learn anything in kindergarten? Oh he was easily identified then as the class bully.
LoL!!! your kidding Right?? Yeah refuse a lawful directive of a law enforcement officer and you will be arrested, resist and you get your Ass kicked before going to jail. How about just follow the Law and comply with the gentlemen wearing the badges with guns, tazers, O.C. spray and the pretty little silver bracelets. You will find out your life will be so much better and will not require an attorney or bail money.
@@jeffbuechler5029 How about those officers obey the law and not arrest people for not wanting to show id when they havent commited a crime. Youre just a bootlicker or a cop.
@@jeffbuechler5029 So we should lie down and take it? Police act like tough guys and trample everyone's rights when they are allowed to. Police ought to be REQUIRED to complete so many hours of continuing education units per year or two to remain a cop. The CEUs should have role playing on how to de-escalate a situation, keep cool themselves (sit on THEIR egos), the publics' rights, and any new laws they might be called upon to enforce. They should have topics like "Police integrity" addressing real life situations and how BEST to handle them. Good Police are a godsend. Bad Police are a nightmare--maybe even responsible for an innocent person's death. Graduating from the police academy should not be the end of their training. They should constantly be reminded about self control, the law, and integrity. Provide the right kind of continuous training and stupid ideas like defund the police will fizzle before ever starting. Don't tolerate the bad apples. Their misbehavior rubs off on everyone and taints the reputations of the good guys.
@@jeffbuechler5029 Nah, I'll follow lawful orders, there is zero obligation to follow an unlawful order, this guy needs to sue them for lost wages, and the cost of his car. This is the most unjustified bullshit I've ever seen. I'd have used far more colorful language with those thugs and wouldn't have given them a moments of peace either during the car ride back or at the jail and been as uncooperative and as big as a pain in the ass as I could be. This man should also demand the removal of his finger prints they took when they booked him.
Question - would you rather live in a country where Showing ID to the police is mandatory , but they almost never ask or live in a country where it is NOT mandatory but almost always ask.
The very person who supposedly called in the suspicious person alert, will now be paying higher taxes to cover higher insurance rates when Chase sued the Sheriff’s office for false imprisonment, false arrest, civil rights violations, etc. Hope he sues them big time.

Taya and Steven I used to live and work in San Diego but I never hear whereabouts I'm San Diego county this was. Valley sheriff is it like east of El cajon or near ?
So they made up a reason to be there, violated your 4th amendment right and took your information I'm assuming. Searched your vehicle which they didn't have a warrant for. Made up infractions........ While you filmed it. Please get an attorney and Sue them back to the stone age.
What is so disturbing and disgusting is the fellow officers going along with the crimes of the fellow officers. These cops should lose their jobs, pensions and do jail time. The one's that went along with the primary buttwipe cop that perpetrated the arrest should spend ten times as much time in jail. Total blue line gang thugs! 😡 Sovereign Cop Citizens operating under the color of law! Abolish Police Immunity!
Good gods!! Please defund the police, end qualified immunity and make punks like these three "public servants" pay out of their own pockets for horrible, mean and bullying behavior such as this!! How can the families of these criminal cops have even an ounce of pride in their "heros"??? P. S. Taya, you and Stephen are true and honorable patriots! Thanks for all you do!
don't defund the police, but do remove immunity 100%, you wont find bullies in police if they are no longer immune, if they break the law they can get sued for it personally the bullies will leave, and the guys you want as police will remain, The truth is 90% of police are good guys just doing a job, the 10% are the ones you see on youtube.
He literally said what's the point of getting a lawyer. I can't belive he will let that go. It's a rock solid case and they have billions like she said.
@@jdconner It is not easy to find a lawyer willing to sue the police. Obviously, they are out there, but local ones that have to deal with local police departments themselves are hard to find.
It's always a good idea to check which states require you to show ID to Law Enforcement. Of course if the cops look like something out of Deliverance it might not matter. 🤷🏿♂️
Even in stop an ID states. They have to have RAS of a crime to ask for it. They cant just walk up an say papers an you give it to them. Thats completely unconstitutional an civil rights violation. No state has it to were goverment can walk up an just take your documents.
No such thing...... Watts v. Under this conception of criminal procedure, any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to police under any circumstances."
How exactly can a "state" require you to obey politician's dictates called "laws"? How can you morally justify threatening peaceful people with violence to force them to obey and pay like slaves?
You should file an internal affairs complaint (right away, there is usually a time limit) This will stay in there for a long long time and will be a serious deterrent to any future promotions or new job opportunities. It's a major headache for them and if they should be investigated by another citizen the department will start looking for a reason to fire them.
@@stevecampbell1308 Perhaps, If they did their jobs right? If they received proper training and supervision? If they turned in their 'brothers' who violated the moral code we require of them? Perhaps, then, there would be more trust and faith in their promise to 'protect and serve'.
Sounds like all across America, our law enforcement, public servants, need a long hard enema, and a revised training. At least 2 years, and proof they are capable to serve the public. ASAP.
I'm from San Diego and we generally have a pretty good Police Dept but these incompetent Sheriffs deputies obviously don't give a shit about our citizens Constitutional rights and losing tax payer money in litigation.
Show me where it says anywhere in the Constitution that it is your right to disregard the law or refuse to comply with it, oh it doesn't in fact it states the opposite read the laws of the identification requirement and you will find out that the officers were merely doing their job and that it was the Idiot refusing to follow a lawful directive of a peace officer who violated the law. Quite being a stupid Sheeple and educate yourself on the law because in the end you only have yourself to blame for your own ignorance.
@@jeffbuechler5029 Ok, smartie. You want actual laws and facts instead of the emotional barf you’re spewing at me? 158 G is the CA identification law that protects us from having to show ID unless we are committing a crime, about to commit a crime or the officer has RAS that we are about to commit a crime. Otherwise the 4th Amendment of the Constitution(you erroneously spewed out it wasn’t in there) protect us from unlawful searches and seizures. You should really educate yourself before opening your mouth and showing your ignorance. I actually back the blue but good cops respect the Constitution. It’s the highest law of the land. Get your shit together Jeffy because you’re the sheeple in this instance. Just because a cop requests or illegally orders you to do something, you don’t have to comply. That’s what sheeple do. Knowledge is power.
The only way you can get recourse for this kind of police misconduct is handling things unlawfully. Law enforcement is never held accountable. Karma needs to catch up with these SOBs!!
At what point during this illegal interaction does qualified immunity apply? If any judge or prosecutor Grant's qualified immunity must be barred from the bench and position , tried and convicted of violating their oath under title 18 USC section 2381. Title 42 section 1983 and title 18 section 241
These cops knew they were being recorded and that didnt deter them one bit. Making up false charges on camera like its something to do. Imagine what they do knowing they're not on camera!

Do you like to send money to people who brake the law??? because by refusing the officers directive that is exactly what he did. he went to jail just as he should have.
@@jeffbuechler5029 So, being the police means we should do what they say? That is NOT a good enough reason, sir. Give up your rights if you want but don't expect us to.

Precisely the same thing happened to me with NYPD. Result: Jail. NYPD simply jailed me when I refused to show them my papers. For the Americans, nothing will improve. In fact, things will continually get worse! I voted with my feet and moved out of the USA altogether. Best decision of my life. Here on Nature Island the police extremely helpful. One time our truck got a flat tire. We did not have the special tool to remove the unique lug nut. The Marigot Police chief came out in his silk tie, shined shoes, essentially his Sunday best, and with his tool box worked hard and long until he had changed that tire! Here the Police do not hide - like road pirates - collecting fines! We experience this unique concept for which the Americans have no idea - It’s called FREEDOM! True Story some years back while living in NYC: I was leaving a grocery story with a couple bags of groceries when I was stopped by NYPD. They wanted to 'see my papers', and to assure I was an innocent and good law-abiding citizen. I asked them if they were investigating a crime; or if they had any reason to suspect I was involved in a crime. They said, "No"; and, that they were merely doing these 'random checks'. Unfortunately, my attempt to explain to NYPD that the US Constitution states that government must assume citizens are innocent and that I had a right to be left unmolested merely brought about their laughter and the handcuffs. My next stop was a very, very crowded jail cell! I swear it was nearly identical to NYC jail cell situation Charles Bronson found himself in during the movie, Death Wish 3! [I posted the video of this phony arrest and named it “Nazi NYPD”] Despite the fact I do not drink - I mean I drink absolutely nothing ever - on numerous occasions NYPD has forced me out of my car, paraded me around like some perp, and forced me to take a Breathalyzer. Again, under the idea NYPD has that everyone must continually prove their innocence. Likewise, it is common practice by NYPD to force you into bag searches if you ride the subway. These can be scary because under NY law, if they deem some object you have in your bag 'could' be used as a weapon - a sharp pencil perhaps - you will be charged with felony weapon possession. They run the city much like a prison. You are not permitted to protect yourself. They don't care who started the altercation, everyone goes to jail. The people are on their camera everywhere; license plates and movement data are continually collected; the mayor sent out a phone App and asked everyone to rat out anyone they see violating any his illegal lockdown policies; the city uses communication interception devices, DNA checkpoints, identity cards, facial scanning devices and biometrics, vast software and data collection machines (e.g., Boundless Informant and Flawmill, Five Eyes network & Bluffdale cloud, Prism software, Pegasus spyware, etc.), to support their extensive surveillance & profiling of the people like a giant peeping-Tom. Meanwhile, City Governments are now paying to tune into your phone app home video surveillance cameras! [1] The USA was founded on the principle that the individual is guaranteed freedom from harassment, sovereignty, and the right to privacy. Those principles are enumerated in the Constitution. Today however, all the provisions of the US Constitution are cancelled for the first time since the birth of the nation! Therefore, at this time, we have no rule of law! The one with the most money or power reigns supreme above all else! In fact, the US Government can arrest you for any reason - OR NO REASON - and lock you up indefinitely without trial! Moreover, the US Government can, and does, torture now! I don’t want any police. I want the right to take care of myself! NYPD is nothing short of the Nazi Gestapo! Sadly, the people just sit there and ‘take it’ without objection. TSA lines, lockdowns and the prison system the American’s live in will get worse! Therefore, I voted with my feet and left the USA for good. Best decision of my life! [1] www.vice.com/en_us/article/zmjxvj/cities-asked-ring-to-share-registry-lists-of-customers-who-bought-surveillance-cameras A mere 14 NYPD officers have been sued 87 times! Many of the cops are guilty of false arrests. Of the 627 arrests Officer Chau was involved in, records show 393 were dismissed, or 63%. “New Yorkers should not be policed by cops who have been sued for misconduct half a dozen times or more in a single year," said Corey Stoughton, attorney-in-charge of the Special Litigation Unit of the Criminal Defense Practice at The Legal Aid Society. "What’s worse is that because of Police Secrecy Law 50a, New Yorkers will never be able to learn how, if at all, the NYPD is responding to this epidemic of police abuse of power,” added Stoughton, referring to the state law which the city has interpreted as barring the release of police personnel records, including discipline cases. www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/ny-most-sued-cops-20200228-5slf6t3jv5f7rmn5gucja4o3dy-story.html?fbclid=IwAR2L38HV6MsjEQ5zeObvumGhXTOFHoDCKVgZCZJjBICX5nrtqVQzOev38-4 NYPD conducts over 700,000 illegal search and seizure arrests despite being told not to do it by the Federal Court! theintercept.com/2021/06/10/stop-and-frisk-new-york-police-racial-disparity/

so frightening.. i'm not in USA, but in Australia we have the same type of heavy handed issues with law enforcement.. its such a loss of our rights, and we have no ability to fight back, as we see from this poor guy.. he ends up in cuffs, in custody, losing his vehicle and livelihood and what can he do about that... nothing, unless he can afford a top lawyer.. just so so indicative of the world we are being forced to live in today
It's because we have a punitive type legal system. It's mostly the ideological love child of the LNP and to a lesser extent Labor. If we wanted better police we'd vote for parties who have judicial system policies more akin to what the Norwegians changed to twenty years ago. But as long as we have a Calvinist Protestant mind-set then policing, amongst other things, in Oz won't change. Vote responsibly.
In Australia, the laws are different…. The law requires that you have to give the cops your name and address if you are pulled over. You don’t have to answer anything else.
'Wow' Frightening, What do you live in a basement, Don't get out much do you, If you think these officers doing their jobs is frightening please do not Ever come to America. I can understand more so your comments than the others on here, who live in the U.S. and are merely showing their gross ignorance of the law. These officers are in fact acting in accordance to their state statutes and are in fact simply doing their job to identify the man in question, Under the color of law it is their Job to make contact with individuals on a regular basis and it is not uncommon in the greatest majority of these cases for them to ask for identification. These Officers were not misbehaving or acting in a manner outside the scope of their duties, by asking for his identification, the car is broke down, ok so how do the officers know if this person owns this car? how do they know if he did not steal it, or that he was taking items from a car he found broke down on the side of the road? how do the officer know that this person was involved in a violent domestic case and has the body of his wife or girlfriend in the trunk of the car? the answer is simply they do not. 1.It has been my experience from working in the Law and Law Enforcement fields that Only Criminals tend to have a problem identifying themselves to Law Enforcement when asked. Regular law abiding citizens have never taken issue with providing identification when requested when it was being asked for by the officers while in the performance of their duties and while conducting field investigations or field interviews, also in the U.S. it does not matter where you live or in which state you reside, it is required by Law to varying degrees to Provide identification to law enforcement when requested, it is not optional, this is for the Officers to know who they are speaking with and to know that who they are talking to are not wanted criminals or fugitives wanted in other jurisdictions. 2. Did you stop to think for one second that the man causing the issue by refusing to provide his identification could be a wanted murderer, rapist, child molester, drug dealer, kidnapper or a fugitive fleeing from justice from another state or country, and that his refusal to cooperate when asked for identification was to prevent the Law Enforcement Officers from finding out his true identity. what if he had stolen the car from another town, it happens on a regular basis in the U.S. and in every town big and small, criminals break the law and the last thing they want is to be caught. I have a couple of friends from Australia living here in the U.S. and two are police officers 1 in New York and the Other in Houston and they will tell you the same exact thing, failure to provide identification when asked will land you in jail. For others who do not know or study the law including the woman who posted this video there are not just state laws but a federal law as well that requires immediate identification when requested by law enforcement which is found under the 2004 patriot act. in fact any law enforcement agency in the U.S. can lawfully detain anyone for up to 3 days or 72 hours for the purpose of identifying any person being held who has refused to provide their identification upon request. and that's just for refusing to show their identification to law enforcement when asked, this does not include any additional charges for obstructing and impeding officers in the performance of their duties.
One thing that comes to mind that I didn't see addressed further - the cops said they got a call. But it's the middle of nowhere. He says no houses or buildings were in view. So...did anyone drive by before the cops showed up??? If not, then the chances that they "got a call" seems very unlikely. Any calls & radio communications can be FOIA requested to see if there really was a call, or if the cops just showed up by chance. May not be relevant in a lawsuit, but it's something I'd be interested to know.
Maybe the tow truck is in on it. Hey, sucker out in middle of no where wants a tow, Go shake em down. I've only had my car towed once, and since I didn't ask for it, I went to the impound lot and drove it out. Cop called them, he can pay them if they want money for it. I told him not to do it. I keep several blocks of wood for jacking the car up in the back, but they work nice on spike strips so you can drive over them as well.
In Colorado a young man called 911 for help. He got into an accident, hitting a tree with his car. The police ended the call shooting the young man. Police are not there to help. Police creatures are Not human. Don’t call them for help
Couple of years ago there was an accident where a guy had a bad car accident, was badly burned and covered in blood. Police officers who arrived were so terrified of his look and so afraid to touch him that they simply shot him to death at the spot. They were actually put on trial and acquitted by the jury.

what law? those "cops" are not a government entity. The only issue here is the people that still don't realize these 2 things. 1) the police operate from city ordinances and codes. which are not in line with the constitution because of the fact they don't get enacted by the general assembly on the state level to make any of the "laws" they use valid. This is easily proven in every state constitution requiring a valid law to be enacted. 2) the United States Of America declared bankruptcy in 1933. in doing so the politicians created a cooperation fiction called "THE UNITED STATES". this is who the cops work for, a corporation. they have no jurisdiction over us unless you accept the contracts they trick people into accepting. they do not follow the constitution. They get their jurisdiction from a city ordinance and prosecute you in a fake municipal court with BAR-appointed fake judges. last i checked all lower courts get their jurisdiction from the higher courts and real judges get elected by the people. People need to wake up and research it. everything i just mentioned is backed by facts publicly available.
you dont need deep pockets. just deep knowledge. The lawyers, cops and judges all are on the same team. Thats why these people are having trouble with lawsuits on these corrupt cops. the lawyers are helping them and saying cops have qualified immunity. in order for the to be immune to civil litigation, they have to qualify for it. When they act illegally breaking constitutional laws. then they do not qualify and you most certainly can sue them. I know because I'm suing a lawyer, a judge and the state in federal court right now and they haven't dismissed because the facts don't lie and are undisputable. but even if they do dismiss it then I will object, recuse that judge and add that judge to my lawsuit for trying to protect his buddy and continue on with my lawsuit in a higher court. you have to do it yourself on the federal level. the lawyer will act like he's helping you until you're broke, then the case will get dropped because they are the same people and will never give you a fair shot .
Victoria - Why are they still on the force ?
They got praises for this behavior.
They fit right in.
Because they’re really good at making revenue for their town.

He should be reported and complained on every time he does this and relieved of his duties. We do not need this type of people in LEO.
Loved your story and how you handled it. Obvious harassment thank you for sharing.❤ I commented on this video, and I’ve no doubt I’ll get shit for it. @@Montana-3 I agree with you to some extent, I think the issue occured when the officer was refused I'd. Officers are trained to take control of situations and id refusal breaks their programming. They lied in his face - on camera!
And gave zero fuqs that they were being recorded - just like Derek Chauvin.😳
Plus the simple undeniable fact ACAB. (*All Cops Are Bastards)
Doesn't malice, vindictiveness and illegal actions invalidate qualified immunity?
I don't think QI should be completely eliminated but LEOs shouldn't be able to use ignorance as a defense since citizens are not allowed to. QI should only be allowed in certain limited situations.
End qualified Immunity now!

"use it or lose it" Maybe already too late. Most people view the police as defenders of america. But, I have gone to jail for not showing my id, the court did not know what to do so cut me loose. I refuse to show id. Most americans do not have any idea. Sad but true.
Agreed! -Taya
In Ausralia we have to show ID, it's the law.
NO OBLIGATION to answer questions per:
Watts v. Under this conception of criminal procedure, any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to police under any circumstances."
In this case, a defendant was subjected to rigorous interrogation methods, including being forced to sleep on the floor, resulting in a confession to having committed murder. The Supreme Court ruled that the confession was involuntary and reversed his conviction.
Terry v Ohio 392 U.S. 1
"Of course, the person stopped is not obliged to answer, answers may not be compelled and refusal to answer furnishes no basis for an arrest, although it may alert the officer to the need for continued observation."
“The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that refusal to answer law enforcement questions cannot form the basis of reasonable suspicion.
And the prosecutors and judges support them.
The US doesn't even honor it's constitution and treaties. It's a banana republic. It's sovereignty itself is fraudulent.
Apparently, and there are thousands of Utube videos to back it up, this goes on every minute of every day here in the USA…
So the question is how much is the lawsuit against this department going to be worth? This is actionable and a case should be filed immediately!

As a retired Trooper, I am embarrassed by these thugs. Thay have a complete disregard of their duty to "Protect and Serve'.
Your thoughts are not those of a retired trooper.

Well a guy was talking to the judge then the county attorney asked the guy why he just didn’t come talk with him. He said he didn’t want to go to jail. The attorney in open court said. “We don’t want you we want your money” those words will always stick with me!
"To Protect and Serve" should be replaced with "To Cite and Collect." 🤣
@@icin4d "To Protect & Serve" the Mighty Dollar. It's sad when someone in this position is driven by greed. The Dollar motive should be ELIMINATED from that job.

How about just learn to follow the law, the Officers were doing nothing but their job, please read the laws that require you to provide identification to law enforcement, its not a request when they ask, It is the law, they do this so they can check the person to be sure he has no warrants or is not a wanted fugitive or suspect, nothing more.
Yes get eyes out to the world of a idiot violating the law and the cops doing their job
@@jeffbuechler5029. YOU need to learn the law. Outside of operating motor vehicles, there are very few U.S. jurisdictions where there is a codified REQUIREMENT that citizens must present gov't. issued ID to cops or deputies upon request. Many jurisdictions only REQUIRE citizens to provide their name and current address.
These policemen were predators. Very dangerous men.
Every Cop would be livid if the same thing happened to them. The irony in treating people like this has nothing to do with the law. The arrogance and out right lying is beyond belief. So much for supporting the Blue when we see this type of behavior from them daily

It can be next to impossible to find a civil rights attourney willing to take on government.
Attourneys in general spend a lot of time & $ getting that degree & getting into the bar gang.
They don't spend the resources to become part of a system just to fight that system.

His Civil Rights were not violated by any means, the guy was being a dumbass and went to jail for it plain and simple, he violated the law plain and simple and the officers arrested him for it which is the standard for any officer in this position whereby officers are conducting a field interview or criminal investigation. Remember this You only think you have the right to refuse to give police your identification which you do not, But they do have the Right to arrest you for obstructing and impeding a officer in the performance of their duties.
I've just watched a string of similar themed videos featuring bad behaviour of the police.

The Former Cop's...letter to a Former officer.
Former cop from Kansas City. I couldn't agree more. I can honestly say that many of these cops do not even realize how many of their regular practices are improper to illegal...
I would be good at it though....ive been on both sides.

.This is THE CREW PT 2
Your 4 or 5 camera drivers will proceed to their assigned spots a few minutes before the fun begins.
You want the best recording possible so proper Lighting of the subject matter is Very Important, Framing of the subject or item of interest is also Very Important and Focus of the well-lit area of interest, at night under a street light is as good as you’re going to get and Framed subject matter is Most Important with as little camera shaking and movement as possible
The Crew should watch a bunch of videos of cop block, Audit the Audit, Bay Area Transparency, Direct D, and other 1st Amendment Auditors videos, there’s a bunch of’em and any other confrontations with the cops that others have shot and posted.
Draw straws, flip a coin or do what you have to do to get a volunteer from your Crew to be the, for lack of a better term, “IDIOT”
Send this video to the attorney general. Then follow up with a request for an interview.

It's always a good idea to check which states require you to show ID to Law Enforcement. Of course if the cops look like something out of Deliverance it might not matter. 🤷🏿♂️
So true! -taya
Even in stop an ID states. They have to have RAS of a crime to ask for it. They cant just walk up an say papers an you give it to them. Thats completely unconstitutional an civil rights violation. No state has it to were goverment can walk up an just take your documents.
No such thing......
Watts v.
In all 50 states you only have to show ID if you have committed a crime, about to commit a crime,or in the process of commiting a crime
You should file an internal affairs complaint (right away, there is usually a time limit) This will stay in there for a long long time and will be a serious deterrent to any future promotions or new job opportunities. It's a major headache for them and if they should be investigated by another citizen the department will start looking for a reason to fire them.
See your lawyer - go ahead and give him or her 30-50%. Encourage them to make it hurt.

If they did their jobs right?
If they received proper training and supervision?

[I posted the video of this phony arrest and named it “Nazi NYPD”]
Despite the fact I do not drink - I mean I drink absolutely nothing ever - on numerous occasions NYPD has forced me out of my car, paraded me around like some perp, and forced me to take a Breathalyzer.
The USA was founded on the principle that the individual is guaranteed freedom from harassment, sovereignty, and the right to privacy.

A mere 14 NYPD officers have been sued 87 times!
"What’s worse is that because of Police Secrecy Law 50a, New Yorkers will never be able to learn how, if at all, the NYPD is responding to this epidemic of police abuse of power,” added Stoughton, referring to the state law which the city has interpreted as barring the release of police personnel records, including discipline cases.

so frightening.. i'm not in USA, but in Australia we have the same type of heavy handed issues with law enforcement.. its such a loss of our rights, and we have no ability to fight back, as we see from this poor guy.. he ends up in cuffs, in custody, losing his vehicle and livelihood and what can he do about that... nothing, unless he can afford a top lawyer.. just so so indicative of the world we are being forced to live in today

If the chief hesitates or struggles when answering, we all know what that means, and you can stop asking anymore questions.
