Oh Laura, you made me jump down the rabbit hole, I got the sampler with the dragon. The one you showed. I've never stitched one before. But boy did I get the dragons, and a few other things, even the DMC chart, and a 14 ct. already marked fabric. Just to let you know I just mailed today Sat. my trading cards. First time for that also. I look forward to your u tube.
Oh I don’t think I could stitch monochromatic for a year! I’d love to see someone do that though. Maybe we’ll be seeing Talk to me Goose tomorrow! Oh do I need my alone quiet time😂😂 totally feel that. I need to try Beth’s zooms though. Your zooms during StitchCon sounded fantastic. I’ve had to cancel going to that multiple times and finally have given up. Poor me😂😂😂😂

I’m enjoying the I spy challenge, I think about the only one that has me stumped is Star Wars cuz I don’t have enough references lol. I finished stitching an ATC & assembled 2 while enjoying the visit this week.
Yes I would love to see a video on how to choose projects for your prompts. I tried to do this last time and I guess I don't know the rules because I could not find any of my projects for the prompts. So if you could tell us the rules too that would be great. I have at least 20 projects so it is not like I don't have enough of them. I love all your cool fabrics. Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Happy Stitching.
Hi Laura Always a joy to watch your video every week, it has become one of my weekly must do 😆 I am currently enjoying stitching Arabesque too! However I am using DMC 725 on Camel Aida - not sure what led me to this decision when the original design was what really attracted me.... (fingers are crossed that the end result would still look good) Have a great weekend and happy stitching 😘

I don't think I'll meet my monthly goal for Caught in the Swirl, but I have surpassed my I Spy goal on it. Happy Memorial Day. I'll be stitching Quaker Tile USA flag by vivsters. I usually do my new starts on Sundays for Sunday starts. Unless it's a holiday weekend, then I'll stitch all weekend on a new start.
I love Nantucket Sky. It's interesting how the tone of it changes very slightly depending on the colors of the floss. Love that fabric for the bird. It's perfect.
Laura…I am a Classical musician so even back in the year of the dinosaur I was not considered cool. I got my marking done,,,it felt so wrong not to watch videos the day of release but it had to be. Today I was busy finishing my ATC cards and my swap items…they must be done before I get into stitching. Have a fabulous day.
Hi Laura. I can’t remember whether the World of Cross Stitching is a magazine you get but there is a nice seaside pattern in this latest issue. It’s called Sail the Seas. I hope to stitch that one soon. There is also a sea turtle (one of my favorite creatures) done in blackwork and a biscornu and needle book that I love. I have never made a biscornu before but this might tempt me to learn. I hope your holiday weekend was good despite the weather.
I can't wait to see what your Garden of Zig turns out to be 😂. I'm left in suspense after each flosstube that you've been talking about it. Did you see the new chart out by the Blue Flower? It's called Sumner Valentine (I think), and it's got two little sea otters on it. I thought of you when she showed it on her flosstube😊. Have a great weekend!
I like the 'I Spy" and the video that you shared with us with the things you would be stitching for I Spy. The only problem I had was I know very little about StarWars so that left me at a disadvantage of finding something to stitch for that item. I just left it blank. Maybe it would help if you would give an extra item that we could substitute in. Of course we could do that on our own. Look forward to your video each week.

Don’t you love Caroline Manning designs? They are addicting. I have done several of the large shooting stars and have just started some of the smalls. I find that a small takes me about 20 hrs each. I don’t have mine in a rotation but just stitch until they are done. I like your idea of doing the birthstone ornaments as gifts. Awaiting first grand baby to determine which will be my first birthstone I stitch. Looking like it might be a June baby. Spirit.

I've seen it stitched on a taupe colored fabric with just black thread. Yours is the best one I've ever seen.
