The reason I watch you, Laura, is because you find patterns that no one else is stitching. The Owl Forest piece is gorgeous, so now I have to start it too! Why not use both of those reds? I think there is just enough difference to be interesting. Randomly alternate the reds from rose to rose. I love the purple, but I'm feeling a moody grey with black flosche. And maybe just one red rose... Thanks for starting my weekend off with joy!

I saw that Owl Forest chart this week too and was amazed at how beautiful it is! I haven't purchased from them before but just might put it on my Christmas wishlist. I know that we will be changing our clock soon as daylight savings time ends. I like having it lighter in the morning again for my drive to work.

I loved Fourth Wing & have Iron Flame waiting to be read before next one is out next year. That Owl Forset piece is going to be amazing on that fabric. Roll on 2025 to see it come to life. I have a couple of possibilities in mind for the New Year. I aim to have no more than four stitching projects on the go at a time so they can have a week each over a month. Hi, from Colorado! I am stitching Pumpkin House by Ukrainian designer Anastasiia Yermahova that I purchased on Etsy...in Honor of your birthday month! As to which red to use, I would hold each red up next to the black to see which one pops off of the black thread...as both of the reds would look great on the purple fabric! You wouldn't want a red so close to the black that it loses definition. It is so funny but the second you held that Owl Forest chart up I thought, Ooh purple fabric! and then the next second you said you were picking a smoky plum purple. Have an absolutely fantastic birthday!🎉 I'll be working on the clock that day.

I’m thinking maybe 3799 for the castle etc but a bright blue dress like the wicked witch in Snow White. I’m trying to decide on my fabric. I tend to gravitate to black but I’m not sure yet. Maybe a stormy grey like vintage stormy night. I stitched on my Filling the Stocking during your video this week. The Halloween Clock was adorable. I can’t wait to see the finalized Christmas clock. I’m definitely considering taking her gingerbread house class at the Jingle Ball. It’s too cute!! Happy Stitching!!

I may not be able to join you on Wednesday, but I'll be there in spirit and wishing I were stitching instead of working. I would love to start my Witches Hollow with you that day though. I have everything for it, but haven't gotten around to starting it yet. Would you like a stitchy partner for that wip? Black Roses is on my wishlist. I've been debating on getting that or another long dog. If I stitch it, I think I'll do everything in black, but then the roses in a variegated red. Lol, as I wrote this, you pulled out the red. Great minds think alike😂. I will definitely start it this new year when the clock strikes midnight.
A great flosstube, as usual. I watched the premier episodes of NCIS Origins...it was good and I can see it building on what it started. There is one character that I am not so sure of...will need to see how her story unfolds. But the clock is ticking on her!
