Your finishes are beautiful, absolutely love the mountains in Utah, your Dad’s frames are great…Lost No More is exquisite. Your work encompasses beads, colors, Quaker, Christian, birds and Nature. Great to see. Thanks
I gasped when you showed Lost No More - no words as to how magnificent it looks fully finished!! Your father made the most beautiful frame for it, congrats to both of you! Loved your new starts as well.
My jaw fell with the beautiful "Lost no More" your work is stunning and your dad's frame is magnificent! Truly a work of art.❤❤❤ All your work is beautiful 😍
And unbelievably inspiring show! I adore your finishes and all the WIPs! I agree with Connie that you must have 36 hours in your stitching days! The finds from the freebie table were terrific... so glad you rescued them! I love the fabulous house series - it's amazing you were able to keep up with those intense stitcheries!
Brenda, what an incredible video! I absolutely love the Shepherd's Bush smalls set you ffo'ed, but I think the framed pieces are even more amazing. How special to have pieces of your dad's handiwork paired with your beautiful stitching. Thanks for sharing your stitching progress with us. I hope you had fun at the Shepherd's Bush retreat! Happy stitching 💜
Another great Flosstube - Beautiful FFO’s and finishes! Your needle has been on fire girl! Can’t imagine how you accomplish so much stitching but love seeing and hearing about all of it. Really enjoyed seeing and hearing about your earliest projects - so fun. 😊 I too am stitching the Historical Sampler SAL - already behind! But love the project and supplies. Great company to deal with! The Advent Box was SUPER fun. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡 Jacque 🐑
Hello Brenda, you could use a curved needle to thread the buttons on the Shepherds Bush round box. Just an idea. Love your flosstube - staggered by your skills, best, Steph from Northern England 😊 I love your Dad’s frames - simply perfect
Hi Brenda! It’s so nice to see you and your projects again. Congratulations on your fully finished projects! I need to get cracking on that myself! I hope you enjoy your October retreats. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
Stunning finishes! But then all of your stitching is so awesome. Thank You so much for sharing all of them, can’t pick out a favorite, so I’ll just say “Love them All”!
Hi Brenda. Thank you for the update. Your FFOs are all lovely, but Lost No More is magnificent! It was gorgeous before, but isn't it amazing the way a frame (and glass) can elevate a piece? Your dad's frames are wonderful and I love that he uses found wood. ⚘️
Lost No More brought tears to my eyes. I’ve looked for years on eBay for the pattern or kit but it is too pricey for me. I will keep looking. Yours is gorgeous.
Brenda, my heart stopped for a second when I saw how beautiful The Good Shepherd is. And wow, what gorgeous frames your dad made. Wonderful finishes and wips. The bags your friend made you are awesome.😊
Thank you for a wonderful catch up. Wow - ffo’s, fo’s, new starts, WIPs- you had it all. I like all your projects but I love kingdom of books. That piece is really stunning. Thank you for sharing and happy stitching.
Beautiful finishes! I especially love the framed Rocky Mountain Quakers. I purchased this recently to make in memory of time spent at a Colorado Rocky Mountain Lodge. The frame is perfect.
Your stitching is always so impressive! And the frames from your dad makes them extra special. ❤Thank you for sharing! Just a thought for the buttons on your box top piece, you could likely get those buttons attached with a curved upholstery needle-then you wouldn’t have to use glue. Just a thought for your beautiful work! Love your videos and hope to one day meet you in person. I’m a local Utahn too! 😅
I got that Shepherd's Bush series back when it was a "auto ship" and I know I've finished stitching the top, maybe one other small and that's it! I need to get back to it. Some of the pieces that went with it weren't an automatic part of the kits (the ruler and thread minders I'm pretty sure weren't), you could get them at the same time but they cost extra. I had more limited funds at the time so didn't get them. But I love the set and I love your finishes. Maybe I'll get mine out in the near future!
I love the frame with Lost no more! It is a stunning piece! Your dads frames are beautiful! And your stitching is all so very lovely. Just one question? Do you sleep? You get so much stitching done! Have a great evening!
Oh what sweet gifts! And ffos!🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏❤ oh awesome job on the lid, it’s so cute! Oh Brenda they are all great! OMG! ❤❤Lost no more is fantastic. It pulls at me every time! Beautiful! Those books are so vibrant. Almost done.. that Teresa Kogut is beautiful! Everything was great love your videos.
Hi Brenda I love your finishes they are stunning and your WIP's. I am working on 3 months to a finish (Dena half cross stitch) and have completed two out of 6 and almost finishing the third one. They are halloween smalls that I started this year out of 45 new starts and enjoying them. I went through my stash and found the book 17 (Gloria and Pat) by Joan Walsh angulund and have it with the cute children and next year 2025 I will be starting 25 new starts and this will be one of them that I will start. It may be the Christmas one or Thanksgiving pattern. They're all so cute. I loved Lost no more and the framing your father did it is stunning and beautiful. I don't have the pattern and hope it will show up somewhere. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Hi Pat!!! Congrats on your finishes!!! That is amazing! And I can't believe you have that same book, lol! I often looked at the Thanksgiving one and the Christmas one, they are both darling.
@@Handworkmaniac yep Kenneth Hicken. It is a small world. I grew up in California. We live in Riverton UT. Will you be at stitch West in April? It will be my first retreat.
Hi Rosalie! That was what was holding me up as well. If I hadn't found the one I did on Ebay, I think I would have just purchased one of the nice round cardboard boxes you can buy at Joann's and painted it :)
Hi Brenda, i purchased kingdom of books because I loved your stitching so much. Can you tell me what size your Aida cloth is? I know it is an 18 count, would you recommend using a 20 count with one strand of floss?
Hi Suzanne! My piece of fabric is 15.5 in x 30 in. And yes, if I was going to use 1 strand I would do it on 20 ct, because for this piece I really liked the fuller coverage.
Your finishes are beautiful, absolutely love the mountains in Utah, your Dad’s frames are great…Lost No More is exquisite. Your work encompasses beads, colors, Quaker, Christian, birds and Nature. Great to see. Thanks
Thank You!!
