Shhhhhh! I’ve decorated 🌲 People think I’m crazy, but it makes me happy. Husband and boys have gone to deer camp, and I just sat in the dark with all my lights on ~ it was heaven!
Yes! I do the exactly same thing. Send my husband and boys off.... then decorate! They come home and tell me Christmas threw up in the house 😂

#1, 6, 7, 8, 9 Each year I start decorating earlier. I used to say "NO Christmas until after Thanksgiving" But during COVID I decided that if it brings me joy, why wait. That said, my eldest daughter LOVES all things halloween and has a November birthday so I will never decorate until after her birthday. PLEASE a baseball design!!!! I finished Ticks and Treats as a pillow with your orange plaid on the back and I love it! Ya'll bring so much joy to my Saturday mornings.

I first decorate my upstairs around mid November. The theme is red, green and gold. That stays up until beginning of January. Downstairs I start beginning of December. That theme is blue, a white and snowflakes. That stays up until end of February. Both have a tree. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

I start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving after I have gotten everything upstairs from the basement on thanksgiving. I also get my turkey broth going in my roaster to can up before the weekend is done. While I am waiting for that magic to happen, I start all my Christmas decorating. I have so many totes to bring up and 3 large trees to decorate. I also have a couple of inflatables that I put up inside my house verses having them outside to get ruined by the snow.

I have never been a early decorator for holidays. Christmas is not my favorite décor. On the MSQC Tuesday Newsday with Natalie and Misty they talked about decorating for Christmas and the fact that Misty has several trees. I commented that they need to look at your holiday home tours because you are the QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS DECORATING. I commented that my fun is counting your trees every year and seeing how you rearrange the décor each year. I love your village the most. Thank you ladies for my winning of the WITCHES WARDROBE.
Another great video! Once I retired, I started decorating about the second week of November. Now my health has gone south, so my husband does it all. We are in a new house and each morning I got up and he had put more up! He is so good to me! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Have a great fall week. 3,7,8,9-I actually bought my Christmas tree today! At first I was excited, but then I got very depressed. It’s my first Tree that I actually bought since being on my own. Thank you for the floss tube. This year we’re decorating November 9th…we have our kids’ friends over (21 year olds) and they help. It’s a party with appetizers…they’re absolutely there for all the food, but they’re so helpful. 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9

2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 I was so ready to start stitching fall and Halloween. Now that I am, I just want to stitch Christmas. Do you prefer stitching in the season or whenever the mood strikes? It's always been a tradition to pull out our Christmas decorations Thanksgiving evening or Black Friday. We spend Black Friday and that weekend decorating instead of fighting crowds. There's never anything I want bad enough to deal with all the people on Black Friday.
Christmas has already started for me but my big tree doesn’t go up and decorated until Santa arrives in our traditional Christmas pageant ( a huge thing here in Adelaide South Australia ) the first weekend in November . My kids are now grown and it’s a special time for us. Always have family come to see all the trees and village display each year to see what’s new . A large process but wouldn’t have it any other way . Love it. Always enjoy all the new designs and can’t wait to stitch them and see your tours and get inspired. Each week seeing you and sharing laughs is the best. Xxxxx

It is a lot of decorating for such a short period of time---extending the time doesn't sound crazy to me! This year, I'm at least going to start putting up cross stitch on the walls early..... I decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend. I only decorate inside and it’s fairly minimal. My attention span is about 2 hours, so anything left after that doesn’t get done. 😂
Next question is when do you take down decorations. I do it the day after Christmas. We don’t have a great space for the tree and I get really tired of it taking up space.

I usually start decorating for Xmas the day after Thanksgiving. Because I literally have 30 cats (fosters and my own) in no longer decorate a tree. But my walls are covered with Christmas signs (many from Hobby Lobby) I also have a book case that I use the shelves to set up Christmas too. I start the Christmas decorations on Thanksgiving weekend only because we have the kids over then and I love my fall decorations with Thanksgiving dinner. It has changed so much..😢 We now live on the Central Coast of California. It is stunning, clean and the air almost sparkles it is so clean. We don’t have Disney but we have the ocean with lots of beaches, sand, shells, hiking trails, etc. It is good for the soul.🪡🧵

I decorate outside when it is warmer in late October or Early November. I don't turn the lights on until the day after Thanksgiving. I like to decorate inside on Thanksgiving weekend - but never before or on Thanksgiving day. 6, 8, 9

We have blue jays here all the time. They are a very pretty bird. I don't know that they're so mean, but they are definitely bigger than a lot of other birds, so the others do scatter when the blue jays arrive. I usually start to decorate for Christmas around the end of November and then don't take it down until Old Christmas day. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

I decorate the Friday after Thanksgiving but I leave it all up through January…. and sometimes through February 😂. Winter is so gloomy and it makes me happy so I leave it up longer. Chelsea, try Revitalash. It’s expensive but the tube lasts about 8-10 months. Really works! 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

I usually start my Christmas decorating of the bathrooms, and bedrooms the week before Halloween. Then the week of Halloween I decorate my living room and kitchen and put my trees up and I am done by Halloween day. I can not wait for the fall home tour.
