I’ve been a subscriber for years and have made many many of your recipes; all of which have turned out deliciously spot on! In all these years I’ve never taken the time to thank you. Thank you! As I enter into baking season I appreciate the confidence you and your recipes give me! I’m making these oatmeal cookies but mine will have nuts instead of raisins! Thank you again. ♥️☮️
Stephanie’s the best! I’ve tried a lot of her recipes and they all did not disappoint. Love all her recipes, easy to follow step by step. Thank you for sharing ♥️
I freeze dough in balls, large walnut size: then when company comes, I can bake "fresh" cookies, everyone loves a warm cookie. Sometimes I add chocolate chips, too. BUT, always add chopped walnuts, too
Stephanie, every Christmas I make a triple batch of these great cookies to give to my neighbors and friends. I add some colorful M & M's to make them look "Christmasy". So delicious. Love your tutorial style and personality! Happy Holidays!
Always count on your recipes . I made your chocolate cake & carrot cake for my moms 80th birthday, everyone thought I was a great baker . But it’s really you in the back and I can’t thank you enough for all your great recipes . ❤
The name of your channel is most apt, for it sure is a joy to bake the recipes that you demonstrate in your videos. Will definitely try making the oatmeal raisin cookies. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Stephanie.
I’ve been a fan of your recipes for years Stefanie, and your recipes have never disappointed! I love that you describe the quantities in cups as well as grams so they are easy to understand for everyone. And the little tips you give here and there are super helpful too! I hope to see new recipes from you for a long long time to come, you’re truly an inspiration! Thank you so much!! PS tried the cookies, they came out well and my kids loved them!
I'm not a normal American sweet kind of guy, more an English sweet kind of guy. More fruit, treacle, honey. But an oatmeal cookie is something that I could eat my weight in everyday. Thank you so much for this and countless other wonderful recipes Stephanie!
Hi Stephanie. I've tried your crispy oatmeal cookies with rice crispies and rolled oats. I loved it. Now I have the old fashioned oats from the U.S. and I will try this recipe soon. I love the fact that you pay attention to detail and are so unselfish with baking tips. That tribe is definitely small. Keep inspiring!
lol I love your thinking! I only had 1 cookie.....lol Cookies are supposed to be this big, cuz, you only need one. Thank you for this recipe recipe. As always, deliciousness and a dash of humor thrown in at the same time...😊
Hi Stephanie, I love all your recipes. But, have you ever tried to leave salt out of recipes? I am wondering why you Americans have to add salt in your sweet / desert recipes. And there is also the hypertension issue....I never add salt or use salted butter, and recipes taste magnificent. You don"t need to enhance it, but this is my opinion. However, I made a lot of your recipes and they are marvelous.
Good afternoon from Perpignan, France. Another great recipe that I'll certainly try. Your lemon streusel cake I made yesterday and my friends, me too, thoroughly enjoyed a slice or two with our cup of tea or coffee depending on preference. They asked for the recipe which I gave to them naturally and also proposed to send them a link to your video to give them an idea how to go about it, even if they don't understand English. My friends even took a slice home. So there you go. I do have a question. What happens to the cakes and biscuits you make? Are your family members the ones who have the luck and pleasure of eating them or do you give some to your neighbours? If so, wish I lived close by😊.
I love oatmeal cookies. The light colored raisins, aren’t they more soft? I like them with raisins but sometimes the dark raisins get hard after baking. Maybe I’m wrong. I also like nuts in mine too. No one in my family likes oatmeal cookies. I also like oatmeal scotchies.
My sister love Oatmeal raisins cookie 🍪 I Am just not A baker 😁 please Help 😂 Well I guess looking at your take on cooking Do put A charge under me🤔🤔🤔Keep cooking A fan 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Dear Stephanie Jaworski, Thank you very much for Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Video Recipe on RUclips. I just bought organic cookies with chocolate chips at German grocery store Lidl. Could you please make an organic shopping video at Lidl, Sprouts Farmers Market or Whole Foods Market. It would be very interesting to know food products what you use on your baking videos. Have a nice autumn! Greetings from Helsinki, Finland, Europe!
Just made these earlier today. They came out wonderfully. My oven is a bit lackluster so I baked for 20 minutes at 350F. They came out great though! I used baking powder instead of baking soda and it seems fine
You are a lot like me, or I you, never have enough of a certain recipe, always willing to try a new one. I have put granola in oatmeal raisin cookies before, adds a nice crunch. Going to try this one this week, I know it is going to e good.
Dear Stephanie, Once again a delicious recipe!🤩 I tried so many of your recipes and everyone is just exquisite and perfect! Everybody loves them when I bake them!😍 So thank you very much for sharing you knowledge!🥰😘

Always wait for your videos as I enjoy watching your easy step by step instructions. Your soothing, melodious voice is of course a bonus. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your recipes. Miss seeing your dog (Carrie?) in the vlogs.
Hi Stephanie, I am Jas from Malaysia 🇲🇾. Have tried many of your recipes n have been watching you bake for many years now. I started my business 8years ago n self-taught so watching your videos has been very helpful. I actually had some issue with these cookies that I made like 30mins ago. The cookies became cakey not chewy nor flat. It was thick n cake like texture. I use a whisk instead mixer n reduced recipe to half, and I did reduce the sugar by 50g as we don't take too much sugar. The rest I followed exactly same. So the 1st batch I baked for 12mins it was too overly baked so I reduced the time to 7mins n it was perfectly done too. Still cakey and I did press it a little more flatter n it did still rise n became like a cake. Hmm wonder why.
Dear Stephanie, I've been following you for years and I live abroad. Some of the ingredients in your recipes are hard to get. Case in point: rolled oats. Could I substitute instant oats? I have done so in the past with another recipe. Please let me know and thank you.

Yummmm. I've never understood why some people hate oatmeal cookies. They're so good!

A small amount of salt is a flavor enhancer and reduces bitterness. I find if it’s left out the flavor is not as good.
I love watching your show you are so detailed when you’re cooking and I like that thank you details are important
I love these cookies they look very tasty
Stephanie, perfect timing for organizing Christmas cookies. These look so delicious. I can't wait to try them. Thanks somuch for sharing. Blessings
There must be psychic things going on here 😃 I was only thinking about these this morning
I've been watching her for a really long time. She hasn't aged a bit..

I usually give my baking to family and friends, or sometimes I freeze it.

Soak them in hot water for a few minutes to soften, works for me!
the choco butter cake is the best recipe that I learnt from you..thank u , I'm now a homebaker.
Thanks for another awesome recipe...
Enjoying these right now..yummy yum yum!
🫧🤍
Dried cranberries work well also.
That’s what I use. I find the raisins to be a little too sweet 😃
Made them exactly as written. Perfect classic oatmeal cookie.
Lovely recipe Stephanie...
I get confused with raisins and sultanas ... and now golden raisins ... is there much of a difference?
They are just different varieties.
Oatmeal raisin my favorite. Yummy!

This cookie is quite soft. The edges can be a little crispy after baking, but do soften.
@Joy of Baking Thank u for the response. Will it be chewy ? Or just soft kind. Yes I got the crispy edges n yea aware of it being soft after
