Subscribed. I am a fan of Zeeker and BYD（for its blade battery and DM-i technology）. BYD’s DM-i technology is truly amazing, it makes Toyota’s hybrid be like a technolog from the Paleolithic Period. I guess that's why Toyota is gonna adapt BYD’s DM-i technology. Also like competition, that's why Tesla has dropped over $30k in last few years because of Chinese competition. A BYD Seal cost US$30 in Australia but it sells for US$52 in Europe, I think we are lucky in Australia. We can use the saved $22k to make holidays, buy groceries, pay bills, etc. Thanks for competition.
BYD is one of the leading brand in China for its battery, driving train technology and styling , however, it has a lot to catch up when compares with other Chinese cars that are equipped with Huawei autonomous driving system like the Aito 7 and the Avatr12.
Not sure if you noticed this during the test drive, I did yesterday on my second test drive trying to decide between this and the IONIC 6, I accidently whilst trying to lean forward to pick up a sweet which i put on the charging pad for safe keeping managed to knock the car out of drive at 25mph, why is this possible, i can do it in the tesla m3 we have but i can in the seal, not sure if it would go all the way to R but this needs to be addressed in an update where you cant change drive mode when going over say +_5 mph
@OsvUkVehicleSupply I bought model 3 Rwd white/ white seats I have Kona ev and new one when specced is over £5K dearer than model 3 but I did like seal but regen was weak and boot space was less so model3 I did not buy it from you only saw channel after I had bought it
@@stever656 you mean one pedal driving not regen right?? as BYD's way of regen is during the initial phase of braking that's when regen happens.... BYD drives like ICE cars letting driver to coast when off gas pedal
It’s a close run thing though!! The two cars look nearly identical, but why bother bringing out such a vehicle when people like me want - and dream of - electric campers.
I owned the BYD Seal for nearly 5 months and I CAN'T recommend this car! There are so many annoying things in the daily driving. Not to mention my car was at the workshop 3 times with a total of 7 weeks doing the periode of time I had the car. Sure, it does look good and it drives somewhat okay as well .. But do yourself a favour and avoid this car. I even uploaded some clips to my youtube, just to showcase some of things - BYD claims they are fake 🙄🤦♂

Far better...no. Maybe better for you. The software/UI ? Sure, they're ahead. The rest...that's personal things. I dislike the mlnimalistic interior of Tesla for example. LFP battery ( Blade ) is fantastic in Seal. Tesla are using them for some models. The new Audi Q6 too. Best thing to do : Test them both, and make your own opinion.
Go test the cars. People really gotta think : Pricier is better. The cheap thing in BYD, is the price. The cheap thing with Tesla is the quality. By again, that's personal. You've got to test both of them and make your own opinion.
I don't enjoy you advocating or in fact giving any advertising to a nation's industries when that nation has clear and stated intention to dominate the World and economic dumping of electric vehicles is an active part of that plan. This is not to mention the asymmetry of sales restrictions. Get a spine and some ethics OSV- Chinese cars have no place in a free market and you should not be advertising them.
If you can buy a car from a country that invades, murders, coups, advocates genocide and involved in worldwide renditioning and torture then you can't use morals in any arguments. America has been the most evil country over the last 70 years and buying their products advocates their evil.

@fatdoi003 no I mean regen is quite soft in byd seal and you end up touching brakes more
