I did exactly that in North Norfolk the other week. Found a big gulley/sandbar on low tide and then waited until tide flooded and fished on to the bar and in the gulley. Same result just the one bass. Worth the trip even though I was after Smoothies. When was that as that looks cold and whilst we've had a couple of cooler days down here nothing like that. Thats almost February looking 🥶 Good to get out for a couple of hours and always worth a watch.
It just goes to show that you can prep all you like, and think you have it figured out, but if they're not there they ain't there. You're right it wasn't from this weekend, but it was only about 3 weeks ago. The wind turned northerly over a weekend (course it was the weekend we were there) moved in the cloud and a 'cold' snap. It was shorts and tee shirt through the day time, but as the sun sunk it got cold quick!

In my younger days I fished torpiont ferry slip way in Plymouth for bass at night, casted about 20ft out where the water got dark as it was lit up by flood lights and had a 8lb 8oz bass,haven't sea fished for years but want get back out there, now live in norfolk
Gd blank beater that bass , grt vid ,as always ,love the dogs , 🐕,,have you tried a casting cannon fitted to rod ,no risk of cutting finger when casting , got one on my fury , brilliant, tight lines , keep them vids coming, 👍
Thanks John! I haven't mate, I had the finger slips, but prefer to be able to feel the line. So I'm not sure I'd get used to the cannons. I just have to keep reminding myself to lock the drag 😅

Your number of captures is not relevant. Don't take it personally, I also have a lot blancs, we all have. In fact, the you tube channels where they only think about catching a lot of fish, I don't even see it, it doesn't interest me. No matter the catches, the dogs are extraordinary. I have no idea how much you spend on nuclear fuel to power the dogs but it's worth it. Ps: Show the low tide fishing spot and the reason why you chose it. This is the kind of stuff that should be in sea fishing videos. Congratulations.

Any tips or pointers I can give people who might watch and want to try, I will. Just remember to take your rubbish home afterwards 😉 As for the dogs! I'm part of the rest, I'm a smoker, I throw the cigarette butts on the tripod base but even the cigarette butts I take with me when I go out.

This season it seems the fish disappear before I cast and return right after I leave. Always a day too soon or day too late. But its coming

Norfolk is a great place to get back into fishing mate. I'd love to get over there, but all the A roads it takes twice as long as any other place haha

I think if you can get fresh worm, it's great for certain species, Bass, cod etc. But everything takes squid, Bass, hounds, rays, cod you name it.
