Chelsea Super-Five Radio Series - Part 3 - 1926 Model Restoration

The Chelsea Radio Company 1926 Super-Five was a metal chassis Super-Five that would become their main radio in 1926 and most "Chelsea" marketed radio of the Chelsea product line. While others may have been marketed under the re-branded Gimbel's variations, this was definitely Chelsea's biggest direct seller. This restoration had it's share of hiccups, the face plate had some strange issues and there was a restorer induced wiring problem that I created. But once we got through it, the radio was once again receiving signals and replaying them. This video also talks about the obscure early variation that would have been a huge headache to anyone that had to work on one. While not an exceptionally rare radio, the 1926 model is a good performer and was apparently well received by the radio community, as there seems to be a lot of them in the hands of collectors.
