I cannot tell you how much I love seeing you and your Dad working together. I lost my Dad over 20 years ago, and miss him just as much now as I did then. Keep the father & son videos coming!!!!
So glad you still have it and glad to see the FiTech working well as I am considering it for my 73 K20 I am building. I did a 4" Offroad Design Custom Spring Lift hoping to get a little softer ride and additional flexibility out of it. My truck will also be on 35" tires. Cooper Pro's same as yours. Hoping to get the truck done this year but it has been one problem after another with shops so we will see. If nothing else my sons will have alot on nice parts to sell if I pass before it gets built. 🤣
very interesting video guys. good to see the Colorado sticker is still on the back window :-) Also, that looks like a really nice piece of property you on on!
Big green always reminds me of the 78 3/4 I bought new. Loaded 3/4 ton 400 ci small block and turbo 400 trans. I added a Rancho 4 " lift and 14-35's. Then later a Detroit automotive true trac in the front. I kept it for 20 years and sold it, what a dummy. Fuel injection would have been great.
Nice to see ol' Big Green still alive and kicking! I guess I missed that episode, why did you mount train horns on the tool box pointing straight at your head?!
❤️Love Big Green, she never has pretended to be anything but a bad Azz truck! She’s like your dad, he is what he is, says what he thinks, thinks what he says! Miss people like that and trucks like that!
Next you should redo the dash to incorporate a tachometer in the bezels, just so the dash and the interior in general be cleaner (I never liked these add-on tach). Great video. ;)
Instead of this aftermarket fuel pump. Should have installed a stock 96-99 Vortec pump (60 psi I Believe) into the stock tank. Electric Fuel pumps work much better at pushing then pulling.
Carbs are pretty reliable, but the gas today is just terrible. If you don't drive them often they can get gummed up. I didn't even know something like this existed. Do you have an electric fuel pump in the tank feeding this FiTech pump? Also what throttle body are you using?
A lot of the Fi-Tech parts can be bought over the counter. For instance their Bosch pressure regulator, Bosch Oxygen Sensor, AC Delco Temperature sensor, AC Delco TPS Sensor, AC Delco IAC idle air control. Not to sure about the Holley but to me the FI-Tech with those over the counter parts availability is huge plus. I think with the Holley you need a laptop to properly tune it but from what i hear the Fi-Tech doesn’t really need to be tuned on a laptop. But has the capability to. I guess you can’t go wrong with either one.
Also i just found out Holley came out with a Holley Sniper 2…Looks pretty interesting..They claim to have fixed some of the bug issues that the older holley sniper had..

Cool to see this thing still on camera
I always enjoy seeing Big Green, but my favorite part of the whole video was hearing the opening riff to CFH.
Good video nice to see big green around, Stephen were gonna have to call Howard ,Howard the Hammer, from now on 😂
Nice to see it out and about.
The reason why I am so attached to my 21 Tahoe is the square body bloodline 😍😍.
I'm not a chevy guy but that is one nice Chevy that I'd love to have.

It's alive! ALIVE! The FrankinTruck once again prowls the forests of Canada!
I was waiting for another big green video.

Ahh yes! Big Green!
Sweet truck!!
Awesome video, that truck is sweet. I do have a question does that setup require you to use the stock mechanical fuel pump?
EFI is a great upgrade. FITECH is very similar to the 88-95 GM EFI.
87… my ‘87 Squarebody is the first year of GM’s use of TBI in the trucks. Such a great setup, it’s so simple, convenient, and reliable.
Great post!

Great change up video gents! Living the dream!
I wanted to hear cowboys from hell on big green
Is that the only problem you had with the EFi system so far?
This is awesome video👍
Try working on EV or Hybrid when it ages.
ICE is King and will always be…
What mpg do you get on big green.
She so pretty...... good she is alive!
Big Green Likey! How about interior upgrade.
Is there a video on the crate engine and transmission modification on this truck? Very interesting.
The TFL guys did the engine swap years ago at Ted’s shop. I think the videos went up on the TFL Truck channel.

How does this EFI system compare to a Holley Sniper EFI. It's always nice to see Big Green.

@@armygreenfj3924 I saw that on the questionable garage RUclips channel
You can take the battery back until you need it again. You guys don't have enough vehicles for a communal battery
The old battery wouldn't hold a charge any more. This is B.G's new battery.
