Yep. We love our wide maxxes. Great truck. After years of other trucks on the bench for something, this truck keeps taking a beating and rarely breaks. It is our favorite.

From what ive been watching on these Maxx trucks is this thing NEEDS the wide kit installed, like its a must or like you said its always flipping. So going to get one of these after I get the DANCHEE, might be a while but its the next one for me.

As someone who has owned two different RC Cars before buying the Traxxas Maxx, I can tell you that the Maxx is truly an amazing RC Monster Truck. While I have found the performance of this truck to be a little lame on 3s, I still believe that it is adequate for first timers to learn with at this level. As soon as I finish the durability (!?) upgrades, I fully intend to dial up the power with 4s batteries. For someone entering into the hobby of RC Cars, I firmly believe that this is the best choice due to its extreme durability.

Widemaxx kit is awesome upgrade but you must also upgrade to steel driveshafts. I did not at 1st and they got all twissted and 2 broke within 2 driving sessions. Also the heavier weight shock fluid is recommended. I havent done the shock fluid yet but I can tell it could use it. Great vid

really nice review! you should try to turn the springs to 12mm in the back and 5mm in the front. Ive heard thats good and i tried it on mine and it works nicely for me

Have you removed the lipo battery buffer plate🤔 I think it’s called something else it helps close down on not too high lipos as is it the height when the top plate locks in with this lipo in him😎 larger thanks for this show also the rigs a little powerhouse here explosive on the trigger so much might in him too

Hell yes the maxx is awesome. xmaxx is awesome as well but not as many places to run. maxx is a bit more easy and versitile. i put the HW max6 in my maxx and 55mph out of the box stock. only changed esc and got 55.

Yep, Traxxas should have the wide maxx on as a rtr, it really need that wide maxx for stability. If you want to do selfright for around 100% of the time, you need a bigger wheels (like a 3.8 wheels), caz the wheel spin mass is not enough on the stock tires, all of that is on my maxx now, and is giving me a smile now a day, the only problem I need to get ride on this maxx now is, how do I lock the body so that I don't need to go pick it up everything the cover comes off. (can't do self right when cover is off)

Great video! You will love the wide kit! It is a whole new beast with it. I honestly didn't enjoy my Maxx before I got the wide kit but now it is my favorite rc. You may consider some new wheels and tires. I have had a lot of trouble with cracking wheels and blown tires!

As this has so much power that it pops wheelies I do believe that it does loose grip so I was wondering what it would be like if it had enough weight on the front end to prevent it from wheelieing from full power from a standing start how fast would it be ??

I have both and love them both. My opinion I would save up for the maxx. They are a lot different and norther what I always go back to the Maxx. Don't get me wrong...the Kaiju is a beast but I just have more fun with the Maxx.

@@chrisrodriguez206 Thanks, it worked. The manual had confused me, because it says there is a need to remove the battery and I couldn't find an explanation for turning it off. That's why I could only turn it off by disconnecting the battery.
