It has become apparent to me some people in this area have difficulty accepting people and things outside of their “world view .” I use to ride a bike for exercise, but after being deliberately forced off the road twice and actually shot at by a passing car. I stop riding my bike. I own 5 cars and a pickup. One of those cars is a small convertible sports car. People out here react differently to that car. They tailgate me, they’ll cut in front of me, they give me the finger, and try to crowd me off the road. It’s not because of the way I’m driving because these things don’t happen in my other vehicles. I’ve got neighbors out here that love that little car and want to ride in it whenever they can. Ninety nine percent of the people out here are great, there just seem to be about one percent, or so that can’t help being assholes.
I salute you sir. You have more restraint than I do. Had it been me this fire chief would have been explaining his behavior to a judge. You don't get to play gatekeeper on a public road and you don't have a legal right to throw rocks at passing vehicles.

That may not work if there is rampant nepotism going on between the fire department and the Mayors office. It may or may not extend to the police department -- if it does the police won't take any action unless ordered by the county? District Attorney.

My elderly neighbor went off on me (for political reasons) when he found out I did not vote for the person he and his wife supported. YIKES, I thought he and his wife were going to have a heart attack. Retired school teachers who were well respected made complete fools of themselves and many heard the argument. My response to him was never to talk to me again. I had helped him with his yard numerous times even though I knew who he supported and did not care. Neither tried apologizing and told other neighbors I was what is wrong with America. The funny thing is the neighbors agree politically with me. They just assumed we all thought alike.

On the one hand, him being a firefighter and councilman may give him a little more "pull" in town. On the other hand, the risk of losing either of his positions may make him more vulnerable. If you don't already have, you might consider a motion activated camera or two on your property, in case anyone wants some trouble. I'd hate to see any of your everchanging interesting fleet get vandalized in any way. Keep up the fun and interesting videos. Your variety of vehicles is one of your strengths, don't give that up. My two cents worth, these small "towns" are usually influenced by a small few people, they are your neighbors whether you like it or not. I would just go talk to the guy and clear the air!! These guys can make your life miserable, they can change anything to get you to leave!! Personally, keep the cars out front to as minumal as possible, keep them as clean as you can, so they are NOT an "eyesore" for any town person can complain about it. Keep your "work" hours to not go late into the night and should be the same for any test drives, I can only imagine how quiet it is at night and ANY car going up and down the road could piss someone off. You MUST report it so he doesn’t do that to others - your community would expect and respect you for it. You have proof and it is a FELONY in Oklahoma and for good reason. Even if you were speeding and/or making noise there is no justification to throw objects and endanger someone’s life. He also has no business to be in a position of authority., i.e voluntary fire chief.
What he did was totally unacceptable because had he did it to the wrong person, he’d probably be hospitalized or dead by now and there was absolutely zero excuses for his actions so for him to throw rocks, he should be locked up because actions have consequences
Randy you should ask the mayor to see if they can close the main road down for a weekend and use it for a drag strip. Invite over some top fuel legends like John Force....LOL! Maybe use some of the farm land for some vendors to come in and setup some fair rides for kids and a car show, it be a good ole time!

You know Randy, i get you. He's not going to apologize and neither are you but here me out. I think the thing to do to make you the bigger man would be to extend your hand and say let's put this behind us. As much as that may get your goat it may soften his hardened heart to offer that apology. Talk things over as men. The worse that could happen is him refusing your kindness to which you did what's right. Someday i'll have to tell you my experience and you'll understand fully what i mean. Till then, roll on.

I agree about what you said about your point on respect, if somebody walks up to you, and immediately starts screaming and shouting, because of what they think, then, I think that gives anybody the right to not respect them especially if you just met the person for the first time, it sounds to me like that man just wanted to hear what he had to say and didn’t care about what you had to say back at all, It’s just pathetic. I’m glad that you have the patience for those types of people, even when you stopped to talk to him in your video, you focused more on confronting the man on his actions, and not just screaming back at him.

I have an uncle that lives in byars and has for many years…I’ve heard stories about that town both good and bad…something like this honestly is no surprise to me from some of the things I’ve heard about from my uncle…
You handled that whole thing great if it were me I would have had him locked up and pressed charges maybe even sued for property damage because he a fireman and city Council he knows better to not harass and throw stuff at people cars and being disrespectful to you everytime I would’ve have let that go idk who he is I would have had him locked up at the least Your a better person then I am and you handled that great

The fireman video actually made over 110k views Indirectly Randy won. Some of the previous vids and following were 30-60k ish. That fireman may have been a fool but he made Randy some views and perhaps a little money. Randy won whether the fireman knows it or not. Randy is a boss.

I completely agree with you! We are grown men and I don’t want a bunch of drama around me either. I would say go down and talk to the man just to get things clear but he’s a 60 year old throwing things at peoples cars…lots of entitlement there. But I enjoy the channel Randy and I’ll say that I have learned a lot by watching your channel and looking forward to your future videos…and bring some more Toyotas and Hondas to the channel 😜

I think he probably knows he acted a fool, but isn't able to swallow his ride. While it would be nice if he came and talked to you, him leaving you alone is the next best thing.
Also, if the wrong person had been in a vehicle getting rocks thrown at it, it could’ve ended very,very badly
Randy, I understand you're upset and rightly so. I probably sound like an old fuddy duddy but one of the reasons i like and watch your channels is because you typically don't use bad language. That being said, I'll continue watching and supporting your channel.
