There's a reason Limo companies bought those Town Cars. I owned an ex-livery 2005 with a ton of miles that still worked great and brought 24 mpg as my commuter.
My parents bought a Chrysler aspen about 12 years ago and dad still has it. it has Well over two hundred thousands Miles on it. We used to tow everything with it bobcats horse trailers etc. But now due to the Michigan rust. It's my dad's plow truck now.
I just recently picked up a 2011 town car myself Randy I absolutely encourage you to pick up this 2010. You’re correct. The continental trim is a 2010 exclusive and is the last hurrah before discontinuation. Also you’re correct starting in 2009 all town cars are flex fuel cars. Also starting in 2010 they eliminated air ride so you don’t have to worry about that. It’s pretty much been converted to the conventional set up from the factory and it’s still provides the same ride quality you describe.
Randy i enjoy whatever you do. But i do enjoy the copart walkthroughs. Like the aspen. Lincoln is nice I’m thinking it will go cheap. Thanks for the walkthrough today.
so far so good, it has 182K, carfax showed complete coolant system replaced right before we bought it. Guess it all depends on how the owner maintained it. @@toddwilliams9681
Really enjoy your Copart videos, brother. I know it must seem monotonous at times, but you're teaching a lot of us important things to look out for as we join you on your treasure hunts. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Thanks for all that you do. I hope I can save enough money soon to go to the local Copart yard and bid on a vehicle that I can fix and actually call mine for the first time in my life
Man, I’m glad to see this video pop up. I love your videos, but I got hooked on your channel watching these walk arounds. I know some people might not like it but to me this is good entertainment, and I always look forward to seeing them. Thanks for your hard work, and look forward to more walk around videos as they come out.
Dude, I don't know what it is. I fully understand how you could get bored doing walkarounds but what I don't get is how I *don't* get bored of them. :D You nailed the formula. We love going along for these little rides, Randy - but that's not to say that the mob should rule your life. You'll be successful no matter what. Thanks, bud!
I have a 2005 Durango with the Hemi and 4x4. It has 301,000 miles and runs/drives great. The Aspen is basically the same thing, but has additional features. I believe if it has heated seats, it also has heated 2nd row seats. One thing that's "bad" is the cylinder deactivation (2006+ Durango and all Aspens), which can go bad and requires the intake to come off to replace a solenoid, but this one clearly doesn't have an issue as it would sound like a strong lifter tap that's easy to mistake for a rod knock. Oh, and I almost forgot... The "Alpine" system in the Aspen is probably identical to the 378 watt 8.1 "Infinity" system in my Durango that bumps (and just generally sounds great) for a factory system. It's speaker level input, so you can replace that old featureless head unit with a new deck and not worry about it sounding like crap.
Glad your back at Copart missed the walk arounds .The Camero would be great if you can score it at a bargain price and a new motor is the cherry on top of the cake .
Randy, I believe that Chevy Van that you have is more ideal for your sister with the 3 kids. Because when I had just a one child I had play crib car seat stroller daily baggage with typers and backup clothing and all that, and just imagine with all 3 kids. How much you gotta all around. And take with you, and it's more roomier and a lot safer. And case of a crash that there's more metal around you think about that would be more ideal
@@AutoAuctionRebuildsMy late wife stood 4'9" and would drive the 2008 Toyota Tundra TRD without a issue. She would just take a step stool with her if she needed it. 😊
That white Audi A6 is probably a good one. Most of the lights on the dash is probably because of low voltage and battery beeing dead. Only brake lights and adaptive headlights might be bad, it's actually pretty common in these. Brake lights might be fixed with some electrical contact cleaner and headlights need the wiring inside to be replaced. Also these engines are actually pretty solid. I'm european and I have a 3,0TDI one just slightly newer (2009) for over 5 years now and it's the most reliable car I have ever owned. It has over 300k kms and runs like a new car basically. It's not like fast but it's quick enough and fuel efficiency is great too.
"You hear that?...NOTHING! That is the sound of nothing." I laughed when he said that. I am gonna start using that as a catch phrase lol. Also maybe an early 2000's Yukon or Tahoe could be good for her and the kiddos? They are reliable, easy to work on, and it seems you've had good luck finding them at the yard quite often. That could be a good option for her. Best regards from Houston! 😊
That Aspen is pretty nice and would make a great comfortable daily. Tons of room as well. The Audi is something nice but be careful with those lights on the dashboard. Grab that Lincoln fast and enjoy it for a while! Especially if its a special edition which it could be. Camaro would be cool to see on the channel as well! Great video Randy!👍
Randy man that town car sounds like a steal of a deal at 100k it's barely broken in I paid 1500 for a wrecked 97 Marquis with 190k miles only issues are a tie rod 👌
Just starting this video, the Aspen is horrific on gas. I had the Durango, it was my first vehicle actually. Loved it, they’re huge. Looking back they were more comfortable than the newer Yukons and Tahoes. Anyway. The gas it drank was the worst.
I had a 95 town car that we sold with over 300k on it and currently drive an 05 Grand Marquis that has 145k on it and it drives just like it did with 60k. Great platform. Last of the big V8 sedans.
Randy, I was wearing earbuds when you were recording the A6. You’re 100% right, it was like a dog whistle to humans. It was telling you to stay away from me.
I do remember you showing the lincoln. Thought for sure you would of jumped on it then. I know I would of and probably use it as a daily. I'd love to see another panther on the channel.
Pains me to say this, but consider the gas mileage on the Aspen. Now the newer Durango with the 3.6 liter gets great gas mileage and mine has a bench 2nd row. Glad you are doing walk around again.
Love the old A6. Really a nice car. Can you get your daughter an MDX ? They have 3rd row. Heated seats. She doesn’t need a minivan or a crappy old V8 Chrysler !!
Hey Randy ... A ford edge or a mkx be good vehicle and there super nice to drive .very short front end easy to see out of ... amazing crash rating and massive room for size of it... I had a 08 mkx for my family of 5 and it was amazing ... powerful..lots of room and reliable
Randy I would get the Lincoln Towncar … I grew up in them, my parents had multiple ones, I learned to drive in an 03 (which was the first of that generation body style) that 4.6 2v can go to 500k easy. Also most of these new fords when they start on a jump with a dead battery, they turn over longer than on a battery that’s charged. Trust me my 07 mustang does it all the time on a jump!
Could u take a look at the Acura MDX right next to the Chrysler Aspen u looked at ? Plus you were looking for a vehicle for your daughter , that mdx would be a great vehicle for family and has 3rd row seats
Randy, be careful on those audi's and vw's that are dead, keep a door open when you hook up jump pack cuz they usually lock the doors , then you can't get in to start the car
Hey Randy, I just saw your new Cole Park BuckAround from today I think that if you can, you should get that red Camaro and the Lincoln town car if you can get it but all three of the vehicles that you showed us today are very cold, so I hope you can get all of them. I hope you have a good rest of the day and I’ll talk to you soon.
Did you use a different camera than weeks before? Because this is much better! The previous one was too much focusing on closer objects and made the "bokeh" effect. BTW that Lincoln Town car is nice, I love the 80s and 90s cars. I was a kid riding in the back seat wishing to drive the cavaliers, oldsmobiles, plymouths one day, so thank you for bringing in those older cars to the channel :) Greetings from Europe - Slovakia. Great work Randy!
👍 great, to avoid overheating use the DJI Osmo Action 4, but even the GoPro is good. For example when you record while driving it doesn't focus on the dirt on the glass and for a viewer it's more comfortable. The dash is focused well as well, but the previous camera did focus on the steering wheel sometimes or was trying to "catch" the nearest object...
If i was your state's governor , these crews would NOT be permitted to prevent you or the other licensed wholesale dealers from bringing a engine scan tool . Is one way to prevent fraud when you can check everything on the ECU of a vehicle. 😮😊
The overwhelming nostalgia I felt from hearing paper boy is mind blowing. What a beautiful time in life.
I love it when you busted out singing paper boy! That absolutely made my day Randy.
good god forgot all about that song.
That was awesome! He did it quite well 😊😊😊
I lol’d myself hahaha
Love these videos. I’ve been hooked for almost a month straight!’
😂😂😂
I love it when a new walk around comes together!
There's a reason Limo companies bought those Town Cars. I owned an ex-livery 2005 with a ton of miles that still worked great and brought 24 mpg as my commuter.
America committed suicide when the discontinued the panther body
Haha thanks for the good chuckle brother, when you just starting singing on que with ditty I bursted out laughing 😂
Aw man, those Towncars are just amazing. I'd go for that way before an Audi.
My parents bought a Chrysler aspen about 12 years ago and dad still has it. it has Well over two hundred thousands Miles on it. We used to tow everything with it bobcats horse trailers etc. But now due to the Michigan rust. It's my dad's plow truck now.

Another Awesome Video Thanks Randy Keep Them Coming
Really, really enjoy this kind of content.
The Lincoln is definitely a good choice ! I'm a huge Lincoln fan !
If you are poor a panther platform 4.6 with the plastic intake replaced is the best car for the money you can buy.
Your walkarounds with Monkey wench Mike are my favorite. He's still so gullible to tricks, it's hilarious.
Wish Michigan had your sunny ☀️☀️ skies so tired 😩😩 of this cloudy weather
Randy i enjoy whatever you do. But i do enjoy the copart walkthroughs. Like the aspen. Lincoln is nice I’m thinking it will go cheap. Thanks for the walkthrough today.
Good to see you mixing things up again!
I bought an Aspen a few months ago, one owner and in great shape. My son talked me out of it and he loves it. great vehicles and super nice!
Be careful heard the freeze plugs go bad o those
so far so good, it has 182K, carfax showed complete coolant system replaced right before we bought it. Guess it all depends on how the owner maintained it.

Good morning Randy. The 2007 Chrysler Aspen is a good looking SUV.
Randy, maybe try to find her a Lincoln aviator. But be cautious of the transmission after 100k
I like that lincoln. Looks like you could just get in and use it

Wow Awesome Deal Aspen Flowing To Paperboy LoL Made My Day
I agree, Randy. I visit copart in my local area and it gets old after a few weeks to look and check out cars. A break is needed. 😊
That Town Car is a nice one! Hopefully, you can bring it to the channel Randy!
The very first car you check out is what we had in our family as a family car. We loved the Aspen. Great vehicle!
Angry Audi Would be Nice If Goes Cheap Also Lincoln & Camaro Great Content For Channel

Yay for more walk-arounds. You missed that BMW next to the camaro :)
Showed both of those BMWs in a prior video.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds sweet - I'll go find em. Seems I'm behind!

Great deals and great walk around🔥😀
I love the copart walk arounds Randy
Audi I'd say yes. You'll get some great video's. That Lincoln would be a nice flip too.
Glad your back at Copart missed the walk arounds .The Camero would be great if you can score it at a bargain price and a new motor is the cherry on top of the cake .
Randy, I believe that Chevy Van that you have is more ideal for your sister with the 3 kids. it's a GMC van, not a Chevy. She's my daughter not my sister. The van is far too big for her to drive. She's a small lady.

I like the Lincoln Continental. Mileage is good. Car will run for a long time.
The Lincoln would be a decent addition to the channel…that SS could be a deal and would be nice to cam/tune and have some fun with.

The Camaro, sure, if the price is right.

I like the auction walk around videos. A variety of vehicles and we get to see how bad of condition most are.
