      Nice. Sounds like a good solution! Others have noted in the comments how a soap could be damaging to the rubber. I've personally not had any issues but I can see why that might be the case

    I use wax shavings or graphite powder for pivot cup and wax the bushings/contact points. Hand sanitizer is alcohol based, I’d trust liquid or even bar soap over it

    • @iamlazyskater
      @iamlazyskater  3 года назад +3

      Not really, its just the rubber on the bushing squeaking. Bushings end up pretty much disintegrating anyway theres not much you can do to stop that as they are being squeezed all the time when you are turning, grinding etc. Luckily they are really cheap to replace!

    I am going to try this. I think it was Ben Degros or somebody said it was your pivot cups and the hanger rubbing together causing the squeak and to shave some wax and put it in the pivot cups to get rid of the squeak. I tried that but my trucks are still squeaking.

    • @iamlazyskater
      @iamlazyskater  Год назад

      Wax is probably a better solution as it last longer. Worth trying this as well though if that didn't work. I do pivot cup and bushing with wax and that seems to solve it for me
