Get an aluminum block so its light up front balancing the weights littke better. The new coyote 5.0s are pretty good and rev high. And for suspension its what ever you like. Look on forums for people preference

Looked like the Mustang driver pointed to Pass on the left , as we are supposed to indiacte which side to pass on when someone is about to overtake you , normal Race driver courtesy .

I know that's a Crossram 302 because this dealer had one for sale and on his test drive the engine sounded exactly like this one. I wager it's a DZ 302 Crossram dual quad manifold with a RL8 rear end. Trust me. No finer muscle car ever made.

Big HP advantage. Obviously cars were not equal. For all we know the Mustang was a 289 4-spd car. Camaro sounded awesome, no doubt full race prepped trailer queen. Mustang had a license tag on it and was probably driven to the track.
