- Changing the look of an RV shower is not as hard as you might think! Today we continued our RV bathroom upgrade project by removing the glass RV shower doors and installing an Extend-A-Shower shower curtain rod! We have never been a big fan of the corner shower, but this change has made a huge difference in the look and feel of our tiny RV bathroom. Great job! Looks like a great improvement and one I am also considering. I am curious to learn if after 3 years, did the rod mounting brackets loosen? Did you have any problems after several trips of rattles and shakes while traveling?
Thanks! Overall we have been very happy with this. I have had to relocate the rod to attach to the aluminum frame in the wall. Solid as a rock since then with no issues!

I was looking into a way to transform our neo angle shower so that I could get a portable mini washer to set in it without having to deal with a pretty narrow door. Thanks for offering this solution!

We are interested in doing the wall paper and possibly the shower.
The pivoting curtain rod has been awesome! And the wallpaper makes such a difference!
Look at the weight savings! And more room. I hate glass doors, always look dirty. Got my extend a rod ordered, but Dude, You really, really need to get a silicone water gate for the basin (Amazon) and get a curtain liner that is long enough to tuck into the inside of the shower.

What do your shower walls measure from the corner to the outer edge? We purchased this and it just seems too small. The 2 ends only measure 12" and the pivot point on our shower is 14".
Our shower is 31.5" walls
Ours measures 33” from the corner and the rod is 13” on the 2 short ends and 27” in the middle.
I'm curious what length of screws you used. We are always concerned with piercing through to the other side of the wall. Did that happen during your install?
I used 1 1/4” screws screwed into the metal frame behind the wall. Most times you will have at least a 1 3/4” thick outer wall.
How is it when you shower? Has any water gotten out onto the floor? Thanks? The bathroom looks real nice by the way. We missed the wallpaper video somehow and went back and watched.
We haven’t had any issues with water coming out of the shower. It’s worked great, we love it! The wallpaper made a huge difference in the look and feel of the bathroom also. Thanks for watching!

where do you find a rod for the corner shower, we tried the one from an RV store but that one is too small. Thank you for the idea, I hate how small the shower is and I think this will fit our need.

It measures 30”x30” roughly
We have kinda the same shower i moved the the shower head to the corner give you more room .

This product is not white. It's more a sand color
If it looks like an “off white” it is probably the lighting in the RV. I can assure you it’s definitely white. Thanks for watching!
