For my personal taste, this is the best fist fight scene in the series. Otherwise, I think SPECTRE is pretty underrated. I have it on 11 above Skyfall in my ranking. If I would have been a huge Bond fan back then, I think I also wouldn‘t have liked it. Maybe Craig wasn‘t given the best material with this film but there is no denying that Craig himself gives his best Bond performance here.
Eoghan Dolan I think in Skyfall, he looks bored and a bit off. Quantum of solace is also a terrible film but again, Craig himself is amazing in Quantum! Throughout his era, Craig’s Bond was developping and becoming the James Bond that we know. In Spectre Craig‘s Bond has reached this point and finally became the James Bond we love
Kicking ass and getting his ass kicked while looking good in a Tom Ford white dinner jacket.... Bonus points for not losing the red carnation all through the fight...Excellent!👍
Yeah Connery's Bond vs Red in that film; Moore's Bond had a little fray with that mechanical arm-henchman from LIVE AND LET DIE in another train fight sequence;
It took me this long to realize Mr. Hinx was Dave Bautista the wrestler guy, man how did i not notice that until now like common man, hes such a good actor who played in allot of good movies. I remember the last time i saw him was in that movie My Spy
The reference is from russia with love. In the movie, 1963, Between sean connery & the villian having a train fight, but bond uses a special weapon in his suitcase. But in 2015, bond doesn't have a gadget! This is quite different...
Spectre was a long awaited return to the retro feel of Bond, the charming sophisticated secret agent with humour, women and henchmen from the Sir Connery and Moore era, rather than the generic action hero they’ve been trying to make him. Fan service to the OG fans, the new generation trash Spectre just because they can’t sit through a few minutes without a bloody explosion or some super fast shaky cam fight or parkour, rather than quality humour and conversations as in the old movies.
The kegs taking Hinx off the train reminds me of the first Jaws movie where the shark has multiple barrels attached rolling off the boat one by one. If all Hinx could say was SH*T, you'd think he'd pop up again later without the kegs. Damn, DB scored in this movie !!! No surprise how his career is going !!!
Train fight scene is intense and very well done! Perfect homage to FRWL where 007 and Grant fight to death! Spectre wasn't the perfect outro to Daniel Craig's career as 007, fortunately NTTD's going to be released on April 2nd, so Mr. Craig deserves can leave the 007-Franchise on a high note!😉
As much as the scene is a great fight scene, the little "comic relief" to say "shit" right before he gets dragged off the train was just unnecessary. Cheapened the sequence for me.
Well, that are James Bond movies. Cheap and comic action scenes with some spionage in them to make them more thrilling, but really far from being realistic, brutal or even serious. SPECTRE was the closest of Craigs movies to get it right. It's a shame, Daniel Craig has a great James Bond in store, but the scripts they put him on are really bad. Really, really bad.
Bond was meant to be an EX 🇬🇧 WW2 Commando. Gritty guys, them lads. Did a lot off offshore close to coast detailed sketching of Jerry positions and were later just offshore once again 6644, before the invasion forces did their thing. Shit be just a word from a soldier up through the game of killing.
What gets me about it is the micropacing. It feels like in the time it took for him to straighten up and said "shit," he could've at least tried to get out. Might've worked better if he'd said it while struggling.
My fave James Bond fight, easily. And it's got one of the best fake-outs ever - 1:10 Hinx is on fire, so you think that he'll burn to death, just like the bad guy in other fight scenes. Nope, Hinx recovers.🤯
Noah Lach I thought that was a good choice - establishes the fight as a gritty serious brawl. The campy Hollywood move getting immediately smacked down makes Bond seem more vulnerable.
The best how calmly he takes off his jacket and smothers the fire. "I've been on fire before." Or he went to John Wick's tailor for a flame retardant suit.
Those who are saying that "Hinx" should return in No Time To Die clearly don't look at the 'bigger picture' : a rope repeatedly wrapped around one's neck, hooked up with a beer keg on a train that's travelling an estimated 50mph, is unlikely to survive : hope we're seeing the movie in April!.
A shining star in an otherwise bitter disappointment. Between this movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, Dave Bautista has proven himself to be quite a excellent actor. I hope he continues to branch out in the future.
Wow! The official James Bond channel cropped the 2.39:1 cinema scope aspect ratio of the movie to 16:9 thus destroying the cinematographers intent. Well done.
how the hell do you have 0 bruises or cuts after getting a heavy wooden table get kicked and smashed into your face. Im really surprised that she didnt get a concussion, but then again it is a bond movie, anything is possible.
If I were Bond, I'd think twice about travel by train. Or airplanes and choppers. Cars are a problem too. Screw it, even walking is dangerous for Bond. And that's even before he met Jinx.
Ahh, this reminds me every time my dad saw my grades in high school, and we discussed it around the house pretty much like this until my mum stepped in to take my side and save my ass.

If I would have been a huge Bond fan back then, I think I also wouldn‘t have liked it. Maybe Craig wasn‘t given the best material with this film but there is no denying that Craig himself gives his best Bond performance here.
Does he? He seemed bored through out much of it
Eoghan Dolan I think in Skyfall, he looks bored and a bit off. Quantum of solace is also a terrible film but again, Craig himself is amazing in Quantum! Throughout his era, Craig’s Bond was developping and becoming the James Bond that we know. In Spectre Craig‘s Bond has reached this point and finally became the James Bond we love
Definitely underrated.
Kicking ass and getting his ass kicked while looking good in a Tom Ford white dinner jacket.... Bonus points for not losing the red carnation all through the fight...Excellent!👍
Movie: Bond can absorb endless punches.
Real life: One single punch of that guy would have instantly killed Bond.
Or if were gonna refer to his wrestling skills one batista bomb through a table should do the trick
Or a rhinoceros for that matter
Good thing he dodged
She got hit with the table in the face
In the FACE.
Sam27 And not a single bruise or bleed!
but she got up. that's tough.
@@thevoid99 no it is bad storytelling
When? It looks like he backhanded her.
John Doe 0:06 if you look closely
Bond, always kicking ass while dressed in awesome suits
You know what would be boring?
Bond carrying a backup pistol.
Drax got a broken nose from a missed timed punch, shook it off and got straight back into the scene
Overpowered video game boss. He takes that bullet in the arm like a vaccine!
But he won't be a sore afterwards as that second moderna shot.
This scene reminds me from Russia with Love
Yeah Connery's Bond vs Red in that film; Moore's Bond had a little fray with that mechanical arm-henchman from LIVE AND LET DIE in another train fight sequence;
@@rhaspodel how could you forget jaws buddy 🤦♂️
The spy who loved me
more like the spy who loved me with Bond vs the unstoppable Jaws
It took me this long to realize Mr. Hinx was Dave Bautista the wrestler guy, man how did i not notice that until now like common man, hes such a good actor who played in allot of good movies. I remember the last time i saw him was in that movie My Spy
This is like playing a video game with the Blood option turned off.
LOL! Your soo funny! You got me with that funny joke! XD!
Amazing that Craig was willing to take a beating so bad . In the end I felt bad for the bad guy(Dave) first time ever 😬
Daniel Craig is my favorite James Bond.
@@Veridiano02 "SPECTRE was the closest of Craigs movies to get it right" really Bro? SPECTRE was abysmal.
Listen to some flight data recorders. An expletive is often the last thing people in unsurvivable situations say.
Bond totally could've go back for his gun instead of kicking.
@@bottleddawn3678 He also could've used a real kick instead of swinging on the monkey bar like a kung-fu henchman.
Never new Dave could play a scary villain or henchman so greatly
Those who are saying that "Hinx" should return in No Time To Die clearly don't look at the 'bigger picture' : a rope repeatedly wrapped around one's neck, hooked up with a beer keg on a train that's travelling an estimated 50mph, is unlikely to survive : hope we're seeing the movie in April!.
A shining star in an otherwise bitter disappointment. Between this movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, Dave Bautista has proven himself to be quite a excellent actor. I hope he continues to branch out in the future.
'What do we do now'
Very romantic 😉
Time to kiss...
They Fu*ked after this so....
007's biggest weakness: Trains. Connery, Moore and Craig had huge trouble fighting in them.
Wow! The official James Bond channel cropped the 2.39:1 cinema scope aspect ratio of the movie to 16:9 thus destroying the cinematographers intent. Well done.
When your customers push you over the edge
Amazing fight scene!!
If only they showed the scene that came right after.
what happened?
Cedrik sexy times
@@lucasmarlow9330 okay i guess😂😂🙈
I mean if I survived a brutal fight like this, I would definitely want to get cosy with a fine woman! lol
@@cedrik1031 an epic bangathon!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen James Bond so overwhelmingly overmatched! What a great scene!
how the hell do you have 0 bruises or cuts after getting a heavy wooden table get kicked and smashed into your face. Im really surprised that she didnt get a concussion, but then again it is a bond movie, anything is possible.
This is an Orient Express and the fight is between a chef and a Michelin critic. Truly dedicated chef
Batista is such a great actor, wish to see him in more complex roles
I don’t know why people hate this movie. I like it a lot
Of course- everyone knows the best silent assassins are wrestlers who attempt to pummel you into the ground.
In my honest opinion, this is the best Action-Scene this movie has to offer.
Dave was so good in this movie.
This is the Rocky vs Ivan Drago fight of the Bond franchise!
If I were Bond, I'd think twice about travel by train. Or airplanes and choppers. Cars are a problem too. Screw it, even walking is dangerous for Bond.
And that's even before he met Jinx.
🇫🇷🥐🧐🤔just like the TfL Elizabeth line in the morning rush hr without prejudice 💪
Ahh, this reminds me every time my dad saw my grades in high school, and we discussed it around the house pretty much like this until my mum stepped in to take my side and save my ass.
