I made this last night. I’m so glad I found a tenggiri fish recipe that’s cooked in some gravy that my kids can eat with relish. Most recipes online are either cooked in curry or fried. Still can’t figure out which dark soy sauce to use. The premium dark sauce from lee kum kee that I hv was too salty so I omitted it. Thx Roland. Another good recipe.
Tried it today and it was delicious … the sauce was extremely tasty as fish broth kinda mixed with the sauces …. The smell was a little overpowering for some of my family members but if you love fish then this dish is too good!

Roland my mum used to cook this dish with some pounded salted preserved soy beans(tau cheow) n chili n a bit of sugar.Its a very tasty dish kids friendly goes very well with rice.

Oh in mandarin it’s called Fujian. Hokkien is the dialect pronunciation. 🤓
