James here, one of the designers and artists who worked on the game (Also I voiced Wooly). Really glad you enjoyed this game, it's crazy to see something you worked on played by a such a huge RUclipsr (although it's not the first game of mine you've played on this channel hint: 🍌)
To answer your question, and probably a ton of other questions people have had about the game, there are no secret endings: you have experienced everything in the game. We know it's super short and would have loved to make more but we were on a tight 7 day deadline for the game jam this game was made for. Although that's not saying there might not be more Amanda in the future....
Anyway, thanks again for playing and enjoying our game Jack. Keep being awesome

Creepiest part for me has to be Amanda's slow head turn toward Woolly in the butcher shop. Slow, silent movements like that always get me.
Also as she is turning, her facial expressions. Mostly eyebrows is now bending to show she is upset

Man I never realized until Jack's second time playing through that after killing woolie, Amanda comes to *your* house and tells you to open *your* door. This just makes it a thousand times creepier.
Wait i didn't even realise it was supposed to be our house. I thought it was hers because a lot of theorists say its hers and if you type a certain word it will take you to her room(not sure if its true). It definitely makes it more creepy.
I assumed it was the house of whoever’s was trying to burn the tapes but decided to watch them instead. (Ps. I’m just getting into Amanda story and everyone theory’s on the situation.)
Apparently they added a secret episode in the game, when you are at the butcher type "lamb" into the bar, then it will bring you to a new thing. Although from what I've seen it does break the game when you click anything but the house hopefully it gets fixed, it only a small update but still.
Fun Fact: The voice actress for Dora the Explorer was underpaid for her work and apparently gave Nickelodeon a fistful with threats of lawyers, wouldn't be surprised if the character of Amanda was based off of how fed up "Dora" actually was

That's really unfortunate, i really loved Dora growing up! Because of her I got to learn how to speak my second language and all. Even if it's an old show it's very educational.

Edit: Also the original intention was definitely not that. This was made for a seven day game jam, they did not have much in mind that would’ve been that deep
I like these short kind of indie games, they usually have the most lore or end up being the most interesting.

I notice when she is standing outside the house by herself, *she isn't alone* there is what seems to be a clump of Woolly's wool on the floor next to her. presumably the creator just placed the character model under the ground leaving just the top of his head visible to look like wool, instead of modelling wool separately. but man, just thinking about his character model under the floor there like that is kinda creepy.....he's probably screaming!
I actually just retextured a bush without the eyes but if you think about it, that bush is wearing Wooly's skin 👀

they made an update and things happen if you type "lamb" instead of "meat" in episode 2(to be sure,type "lamb" the first two times you can freely write words->'cause the third time,well,the game forces you to type "meat")
this is tremendously well executed considering the time constraints, ideas like these just work so well without needing to be overly complex. great job

As someone who is allergic to apples (and a lot of other food), I have say the first part was surprisingly realistic.
I feel your pain, I am allergic to loads of stuff too and people normally say thing like, "it can't be that bad, can it?" It's like yeah it can lol
im not allergic to anything but I hear people talk about this all the time lmao. it baffles me how such a simple concept is so difficult to understand for so many people.

I have a ton of allergies + alpha gal syndrome (a tick borne disease that causes an allergy to red meats & mammal byproducts like milk and gelatin, for example), I have been told before that I am an inconvenience, difficult, and shouldn’t expect people to accommodate me. Having allergies is so fun 😅
@@simplysnazzy7445 Today I learned something new, because I have never heard of alpha gal syndrome before. Getting that on top of other allergies must be rough! And then you have to deal with obnoxious people on top of it.
@@JWildberry As far as I am aware Alpha-Gal Syndrome is not well-known and an uncommon diagnosis, although it is slowly gaining more recognition, especially with recently higher rates of diagnosis.
It is incredibly difficult. When I went to restaurant in my small town that is usually accommodating of me with kind staff a few weeks ago, the waitress I got was incredibly rude. She snubbed me when I asked questions and tried to customize my meal (as I always do). She started ignoring me halfway through my order, but I know she heard me because she still added the shrimp to my entree (something the restaurant offers already). When my good came out, she gave me a buttery piece of bread (gluten intolerant and again cannot have milk)! It touched all my other food and it was an upsetting experience as I often feel difficult or inconvenient to others. Not to mention that cross contamination is so dangerous, but I was too nervous to correct her in this instance. Anyway to end my rambling, it is difficult but luckily I am learning how to manage it since my diagnosis last June and I have learned who is willing to accommodate me safely and who is not.
I also remember, much to my amusement (and admittedly annoyance), how one person told me I should not travel by plane is my allergies can be triggered by scent as “it is inconvenient to others.” I love how people try to gate keep even things like travel?

Jack - so just a small hint while watching, at the end of the first tape 1, the sheep (I assume) runs the yellow credits and in the credits he writes 'Turn' 'The TV' 'OFF' between the lines. Maybe you can turn it off after the first tape?...

For a game that is horrifying yet appealing in appearance, Jack really knows how to make it more funny with his reactions.
This game looks so good! Can't wait to see what the Dev James will put out in the future! Also jack playing it just because the fan analytics pointed towards his subscribers searching for it is really awesome coming from a channel that almost 30,000,000 subscribers! Jack is and will always be the same humble Irish man we love and adore!
I like how this time, the child is the one tormenting the animal mascot.

This trend of kid's stuff being turned into something evil, possessed by demons/spirits, shrouded in mystery is somewhat symptomatic of something I feel

And a lot of kid's programming is intrinsically creepy if you re-watch it as an adult. It's just a recipe for great unsettling horror games and shorts.

It’s the small games like these that i really enjoy. They don’t get much attention but i find that it adds a charm to them, making them hidden gems if you will.
I love when it glitches at the start and if u pause to read the credits in-between the people's names it says turn, off, run etc.

it's a very mild version of what companies like facebook and google are doing to you every day. In this case, they're just sharing a bit of that info with creators like Jack. In other words, yes it's a breach of privacy, but privacy isn't guaranteed on the internet. That's why VPNs are so popular.
2:11 in episode 1 the credits have a secret message in it which is "turn the TV off NOW".

Also in episode 2 if you say "lamb" you get another episode which has it's episode number censored and on that extra episode at the end you see a picture of a slaughterhouse and it makes you type woolie so it means that in that picture is woolie in the slaughterhouse

My first thought was say "wooly" at the end, since it's one of the only major 5 letter words that affects the story. Then I saw that one of the designers said there wasn't yet another ending.

Exactly! Kinda creepy that creators get to see this without our knowledge.
They also show what a lot of the viewers watch as well iirc, and sometimes we can see what other people watch, but don't think there's a consistent way to see it

This tab also pushes creators more towards following trends, which I don't really like. But that's just my opinion :)

As a fan of TMA, the tape-recorder sound effect at the start of each of the VHS tapes brought me back
When the first tame ends, if you watch on slowest speed you can notice in the credits there is “turn the tv off NOW”. And when the tape ejects, the red button on the tv looks pressable 🤔

These games dude, indie games like this are just so well made and have so much lore even out of the game. It's insane the amount of pure dedication that goes into these games
i love the thing jack does in the start, like he couldve just started the video like any other, just straight into the game. but that intro was very informative (for me as a viewer) and was also nice to see him genuinely trying to bring us better content and be transparent about it, very cool

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! - The Visitor & The Visitor Returns was the first Jacksepticeye video I ever watched
this seems like a great idea. i can see this being an inspiration for something similar that has more to it, as in longer. more options that actually change things, and multiple endings. Also thanks for mentioning the research tab in the analytics Sean. whilst not letting it dictate what i would play all the time, that seems like it will be bloody handy for finding out what people want to see on the channel.
One thing I thought was interesting was when your in the food store and woolly says it's crowded, that's a hint to all the souls already taken by the game

A rare volume fail...it's like the quiet parts of movies when you try to hear the game, then the action scene blasting in when Jack talks.
