Most of Abba's music videos, or "promo clips" as they were know back then, were directed by Swedish director Lasse Hallström who went on to make Hollywood movies like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Chocolat and the Cider House Rules. :)
When I was little, I just loved the vibe of this song - the drums, the flute, the slow verses, the upbeat chorus. When I got older and really listened to the lyrics, I loved it all the more. Such a beautiful story of older people reminiscing on their time fighting for their freedom. How alive everything seemed on that night, as it would when you realize that it might be your last. ABBA is a fantastic group with so many amazing songs, but Fernando will always be my absolute favourite of theirs.
One of their best tunes.
I love this song so much
It's so beautiful 😍
And timeless
One of my favorite ABBA songs. So beautiful.
Benny’s arraingment is pure genius!
One of their very best.
I saw the Abba Voyage show in London a few weeks ago. It was absolutely unreal. I literally cried the whole way through. You totally forget you’re watching holograms. I felt like they were there on stage. Such a special
experience. I adore Abba x
So did I, was invited to the 1st anniversary of the show, it was so amazing that I've booked to go again next April
As always a great reaction vid. Thanks for another Abba song and so many more to visit, I can't wait lol. Keep up the awesomeness and next Abba hit.... Ohh so many to choose from but you can't go wrong with anything Abba 😊
