I replaced the driver door glass run channel on a mercury mountaineer trying to get rid if a wind sound, the new run doesn't fit snug on the metal, i was told not to glue it, any thoughts?
Remember to take the bolt out at the back of the door at the window channel. It allows you to spread the door to slide the window in at the latch side of the door. It's under a piece of foam tape.
@@greer8288 You use the plastic pry tools to move the wing window forward toward the outside door panel , prying gently but firmly and a gap will open between the rale and the inner door, the glass will just slid right into the door. It goes together fast and is straight forward from there.
Wish you would have started from beginning. Started video with panel already off. Who does that?

I took the bolt out. The little glass window wont slide
