Barbell medicine is severely underrated. Their ability to cut through the bull on both the bosu ball side and the one heavy set of fahve side is amazing. Thanks for the legitimately good content.
Underrated or under discovered haha. But I guess that presupposes that the majority of people involved in the fitness industry actually want their beliefs debunked.
Excellent point about "supplemental recovery tools." I utilize some of these (foam rolling, ball use, light mobility) when something is extra hurty. It "feels good." I know there is no mechanism by which this makes my workouts better, it just "feels good." But it isn't "necessary." If pressed for time and feeling extra stiff, I just do an extra warm up set to make sure I'm mindful of my cues and aren't favoring any particular thing. I appreciate the nuanced take.
On the SSNLP, they don't even have you do the same volume over and over. They actually recommend REDUCING the volume overtime as the lifts get heavier. You go from DL 3x/wk to 2 and I've seen them on Reddit even trying to take a guy down to once/wk. I told them if this worked for long term development following this logic you should be able to stop deadlifting all together and set a world record in a few years.
Thank you for the great video and information as always. I ordered 3 shirts and can’t wait to receive them. I’m trying to spread the awareness and awesomeness of BBM whenever I can.
I sent one in but didn't have any expectation of getting selected. He mentioned they got around 100 submissions so you have a pretty small chance of getting selected.
Unless they are doing social media as a full time job (doctors and coaches, so no), there's no chance that they can reply to everyone. Let's be reasonable here.
Hey, I keep hearing that cold showers after training decrease inflammation and therefore prevent making training progress. Does a cold shower really has such a big effect?
Don't know if you can buy it by itself (yet?), but Jordan does include "his version" of Novice LP in the BarbMed Master Template bundle. It's basically SS-LP for the first 6 weeks, but then things start to get more "nuanced" from there. Increasing the training stress in the right way, as he discusses in the video.

Well said my man!

Man, your answer to that first question on NLP and over vs under training was really good stuff. Thank you.
He's back!

I hope more and more people recognize Barbell Medicine. They truly deserve it

Can't get enough of these training VLOGs. I'll be sending some in soon. Please keep these coming!
If you time-stamped these videos, they'd be that much better.

I always look forward to viewing the latest Barbell Medicine content. Thank you Jordan! 🖤
Love these vlogs, I learn something every time I watch one
Yaaaas! All my RPEs went up from training vlog withdrawl
How important is it to try and progressively overload GPP conditioning?
PS loving the content like this

The feeling of overtraining is terrible. It fucks your whole day up, and you wake up feeling worse than a hangover.
I always learn so much from your videos
Lol at the superfood detoxing ad at the beginning of this video
Keep up the great work guys!
I heard strength training is nuanced is this true!!?
Nuanced indeed.
Great content as always
Thanks for the content, most excellent
Great video! Lots of high bar squats now huh?
It’s not really a linear progression - it’s logarithmic.
UNDERtrained at the end of LP... that makes a lot of sense actually.
Which gym is this?
I mailed my form check. No reply :(
Do you get a reply if thry use your video?
Do you have to be a member to ask for a form check or everyone can benefit?
They get a lot and made a statement in on of the vlogs

Nico McConnell watch through the BBM content and he explains why not
no that’s just some broscience bullshit
Matt D. Nice, because I really like taking cold showers after training.
11:40 Uh oh, almost sounds like a crossfit commercial! 😅
Don't forget GPP day is the BBM don't forget leg day
In for nuance
So how are you guys doing? any PRs in sight? xDDD
Is there an actual Barbell medicine novice linear progression? Or is he talking about the starting strength linear progression?
SS one

Does this comment help the algorithm?
Your insecurity is seeping through the dialog. Just do your thing, if it is the "right" way it will work.
