    Fitted this same shower this weekend. Great video James, really helped in seeing what was involved. Very impressed with the shower. If feels like digital is the way to go.. Brilliant to be able to switch from outside the bathroom then wait for the light to show it's all warmed up. Even from our combi system you can have both heads on with no real change in pressure.

    Love it! Hottest shower install I've ever seen. I'm putting a new bath in my cellar. Hopefully, the sell these equipment and parts in America. Cos here, it's always about in compliance with plumbing codes (which often has been a pain in my noggin')

    This looks like an excellent product, but what is not obvious is that although it is intended for installation in a loft space, it is not insulated against frost or freezing. The instructions say that you should remove loft insulation from under the digital shower unit so you can use heat from your warm bathroom to stop the shower from freezing by heating your cold loft space, make your bathroom colder, and paying to heat an open cold loft space. In the current climate with energy prices as they are, this is nuts.

    Would like to see Mira include a bolt down clip in the loft, so when you push the riser up it retains It slightly so you're not half way through the loft hatch before you hear the deluge cracking the shower tray lol. Looks like a decent product though. Great vid 👍

    Do we really need digital showers? What happens when they stop supporting the app?

    • @plumberparts
      @plumberparts  5 лет назад +2

      I like digital because all the noise of the mixer is far away, plus they'e easier to look after and get at...rather than a concealed shower valve! Can't see them not supporting the app...and also it's probably a feature I'd not use daily anyhow...but very handy for commissioning!

    • @steves1460

      Exactly what I was thinking! Mind you, quite why you need your shower to have a nap is beyond me. It is just more to go wrong. Just because something can be done, doesn’t mean it should be done.
