    Thanks for the video!
    I personally wish this guide would have touched on situations involving bathtubs, you talked a lot about diverting between 2 shower appliances, but didn't show diverting between a shower and a tubspout.
    Personally automation features make a TON more sense when it comes to a bathtub.

    You said that on your digital shower you can run both the drencher and the handset simultaneously which is something I am after. So my question is which shower do you have?

    Hi, I'm doing a bathroom makeover and looking to install one of these digital showers but with possible gas shortages this winter i want to switch to an electric shower instead of it relying on the combo boiler. What would I need to supply the hot water feed in on these? Thanks.

    • @martinwright7367
      @martinwright7367 Год назад

      These need a hot water feed from a tank or boiler . alternative is too find a high output electric shower, feed it with cold water and lots of electricity. High end electric showers can have some of the same features depends which feature your interested in

    Is it possible to use one of these high pressure models with a current vented system with a stuart turner dual feed pump? Currently have a standard mixer and have great pressure with this setup.

    • @plumbworldYT
      @plumbworldYT  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your query. An unvented system would normally require the low pressure models but as you've stated you already use an additional pump so we're not 100% sure. We would recommend speaking to a fully qualified installer to make sure that you're buying the correct model.

      @@plumbworldYT Thanks for following up! Basically my hot & cold feed to the shower is 2 bar currently and balanced also. The hot is via a vented 140l cylinder and cold via a cw tank in the loft both boosted via a pump to increase pressure. So I presume this would meet the requirements for a high pressure model rather than a gravity fed model?

    • @plumbworldYT
      @plumbworldYT  Год назад +1

      @@deeeirl I'm afraid we aren't installers so we would advise double-checking with a plumber before making a purchase. The last thing we would want to do is recommend a shower that isn't suitable.

    Thanks! I've been wondering the same. I'm currently looking to move away from my electric shower, to a mixer one
    I don't have a heat pump yet but I've read that they work well with heat pumps, with an ever so slight loss of efficiency which is acceptable given that currently it's 1 unit in, 1 unit out
    Heat pumps on average give 3 units out to 1 unit in. The cylinders may given even more given they're inside the house
    A slight loss of efficiency is perfectly fine then, when combined with heat pumps
    That, and there's a shed load more options when it comes to mixer showers
