You bring memories. Fond thoughts of a time in life a person appreciates more now than then. Thanks for bringing that to me. Just wonder what it'll be for people 50 years from now if anything be worth a memory.

There are probably more of these types of forgotten yards than we know. I found one in Indiana about five years ago that had no less than 10 '69 and '70 Stangs just rotting away. I have the back glass, cowl panels and taillight assemblies from about four of them, and an entire roof from one of the '70's.
That yard-in-the-woods has many other mustangs and a ton of other treasures in it as well. Perhaps I'll head that way again in the spring and make a video of it.

That 69 Grande at 4:37 looks so much like my first car...down to the horn blowing strip built into steering wheel rim.(took me a while to determine why my horn was randomly blowing).
I bought it from the second owner who was a close relative of the first owner.
I noticed this one has no vinyl top. I eventually had my top removed when I had the car painted with metallic emerald green Imron(remarkably close to the hue of this car). Looking back it was probably kinda tacky, but In the sun, that thing sparkled like a diamond. ..but hey, that was 40 years ago and I was 17.
    Wish I still had it.

Ironically being left out there like that might have saved them. Others wrecked like them back in the day weren't worth much except scrap and ended up as such.

I bought a couple of Heads for my 289 engine last year from Joe Hebert. Joe lost hundreds of Mustangs in floods of 2016 near Praireville/Baton Rouge, when they all went underwater for a week or so. Very nice guy. A pleasure to meet him..

Early 90’s I had the opportunity to buy a complete minus original wheels 67 Mustang Fastback red with red Pony interior 289 2 barrel automatic for $700. They had the title but it didn’t run. The body looked really good and from what I could see the floors were fairly good but had tiny holes. I was delivering pizza and I would have needed to skip paying a few bills to buy it. My brother even offered to store it in his old Quonset shed. I wish I could have bought it.

I'm just curious what my old cars would be worth today. A two door hard top, candy apple red with a black venal top. Mickey Thompson valve covers, Hooker headers, Edlebrock intake , and a holly 750 double pumper, sitting on a 289 ho po motor. It was beautiful car and could out run my 67 Gta fastback The fastback with the 390 and positive trac . It had the full close down back end that made it a 2 seater or you could fold it up and have a couple molded seats in the back. It also had a roller decks in front of the the shifter and a compartment that you could lift up to store stuff in or use as a armrest in the middle. Ohh I think I lost my fortune when I was younger. Along with my 71 GTO convertible. A couple of Dodge Cornett 440's and a 1961 Falcon Rancharo.

Interesting; red 68 coupe at 23.50 mark said it was an F code 302 2V. According to the Marti Book Mustang by the numbers there were only two F code coupes produced. 68 was a strange year where the C code for the 289 was used interchangeably for 289s or 302s.

They might look like junk today, but in 20 years, will they be extremely desired? It isn’t 1985 anymore...

His favorite words was: ITS SEEN ITS BETTER DAYS... hahahahaha Lmao 😂
What the heck is he talking about, every car on this find has seen its better days. All those wrecks are good for is parts! I only seen maybe 5 mustangs in all the mustangs you showed that are fixable without having to spend $100 Grand on them.
