In this video I'm going through making sweeps in Serum. Risers, noise sweeps are great for adding tension to your tracks. Placing them before or after the drop (fallers) will help you better transition between the sections of the song.

once it reaches to the top note (while holding the key down) will it still keep playing that peak pitched note?
It depends on how you set the envelope type, he sets it to (TRIG) trigger, which means that if you continually hold the key down, that envelope will continue to loop every 4 bars, or however long it is. Which would mean it would keep looping the pitch and other effect rises. If you set the envelope type to (ENV) envelope, the envelope will play once and remain at the last point of it for as long as the key is held down, this would be what you want for it to keep its peak note for longer
