Nah as an OSU fan having MHJ, Scary Terry and Curtis Samuel on the same field is terrifying. I would not want my seahawks to play them 😂 Riq and Witherspoon would have a long ass day and I'd feel sorry for whoever we put at nickle to guard the 3rd guy lmao

This was very insightful. I love how one decision seemingly had a trickle down effect that changed things. Then a run would start and people would start buying up.

You should've drafted Johnny Newton for my seahawks bruh I'd love that Illinois connection with spoon as someone from the C-U

This first overall pick is worth more than last year's, Kurt, so you better believe if the Bears trade out they're getting a bigger haul than last year.

Agreed. Williams technically has more value than Young and more teams will be in play for him, increasing the cost to get that pick.

Doesn't really make sense that teams like the Titans and the Falcons wouldn't trade back with Drake Maye still on the board.

Great mock from a bears fan I got the commanders moving up 2/36/40 2025 frp 🤞🏾 but I would love this mock I think poles would get a player as well in one of those trade downs making them even better 🐻⬇️

Kinda crazy here, but could you see the Jets moving on from Rodgers quicker than everyone thinks, possibly getting someone like JJ or Maye to sit behind him

Patriots trade back with the Falcons. Falcons give up 2024 1st,2nd 2025 1st and 3rd and Desmond Ridder and with the pick, Falcons select Jayden daniels. Thoughts?

Texans going O-Line makes no sense, both starting tackles were both extended this past offseason through 2026, guard spots are also filled, poor o-line play in 2023 was bc of never having more than 2 of the starting lineman on the field for the team.
99% sure the pick for the texans will be defense, could be DT, DE, CB, S, pretty much anything

Why the hell are the cardinals drafting Joe Alt then Graham Barton. There is no universe where Monti takes an interior olinemen anywhere in the first three rounds. For 20 years being on the patriots and titans draft staffs there a total of one single interior olinemen drafted days 1 and 2 and it was a third rounder. Guard is a non premium position and should not be spent with day 1 picks. You are neglecting the entire rest of the team by not taking another position there like Johnny whos automatically starting on the dline.

Because all these analysts find the Cardinals a boring team & don't want to associate them with the exciting players. Izzat a good enough answer? It's the truth.
It doesn't help that they have right about The Least Exciting name, image, unis etc. Why tf didn't they change the name when they moved out of St-L.? The Rattlers would be _WAY_ cooler for all purposes.

    • @ste_venegas
      @ste_venegas 3 месяца назад

@@choosecarefully408 lol what. People only bring up the rattlers because it exists now. But you cant have that as the professional team along with the diamondbacks. The unis are not bad at all and neither is the name of team. I think maybe these guys just made a bad pick, I think thats a good enough answer.

@@ste_venegasHeh. I thought you'd noticed that _ALL_ mock drafts feature the Cards trading down away from MHJR. You know how some fan bases are nuts (Cowboys), some vocal (Bears) & some conservative (Titans)? The NFCW just happens to have 2 teams that the other fan-bases almost forget exist, the Rams & Cardinals.
It affects how people look at them. Johnathan Gannon did an _amazing job_ with the talent he had. But no one's talkin' 'bout it.

    • @ste_venegas

@@choosecarefully408 What you talking about bro. No one has us trading back with marv on the board, and a lot of people talk about how surprised they were by JG but no one is gonna keep talking about a 4-13 with no talent. not much to be said.

The Bears will take Williams. I know it’s boring, but they will. They are in a division with Goff and Love now, and either Kirk or someone else. Let’s assume Kirk stays for now. You can’t have the worst QB in your division and hope to go anywhere.
Moving outside of the division, to win a SB you are going to, at some point, best one of Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Lamar, Stroud, or any number of QBs coming out of the other side.
You have to swing for the ceiling here. They are a poorly run org, and poorly run orgs can only win when their QB is simply too good to be dragged down by the mess. You can’t win with an average QB and a bad organization.
They passed on Stroud already, by trading away the pick, and I don’t think anyone here would say they’d take Fields over Stroud. So you’ve added another QB better than your guy to a conference opponent.
In the modern NFL you need either a super star… or an amazing organization, with an amazing coach, with an above average QB, even if just for a playoff run, and an amazing roster.
Look at the last 20 winners. Fields is worse than only (maybe) Foles and Brad Johnson (2002). Other than those two, and Flacco, every other winner in the last 20yrs is either a HOFer, or will be on the ballot at a minimum.
No one is a sure thing, but when it comes to winning, if you have a chance at a guy with the highest of ceilings… you take him and roll the dice.
