    Keenan is basically a one year rental. If the Bears go 9-8 or 8-9 there no need to blow anything up…biggest guys expecting an extension are teven jenkins and dj Moore. Financially I think they’ll be alright.

      think he gets extended, but i wouldn't expect more than 2 or 3 seasons total

      I doubt Keenan is getting a new deal. The GM does not resign old players to expensive deals. So unless Allan accepts a major haircut, they are going to let him walk.

    Brock Purdy is a perfect example! You nailed it bro!!!
    Caleb Williams came into a situation just like Brock but Brock was a decent quarterback that nobody knew..He got drafted to a great defense & on offense he had wall to wall weapons...
    That is exactly what Caleb got... But everyone knows who Caleb is...... Outstanding video you guys did a good job in fact better than most!!!!

      I agree for the most past, but Caleb doesn't have the offensive coaching staff that San Fran has. Also think Mahomes and Andy Reid's offensive coaching staff.

    Kurt you are sounding a little dumb about Caleb. You need to watch his Oklahoma tape. Too many people think he is only the QB he was at USC. He was the QB he had to be at USC. He is the QB he was at Oklahoma and if the Bears look like that this year watch out NFC!

    Dawg, finishing 9-8 and barely missing the playoffs in a good division with a rookie QB is a great outcome for us. Caleb and Rome take steps in year 2 and we draft/sign a Star edge rusher opposite Sweat and we’re in business. Still on the rookie QB contract timeline for 3 more years.
    The actual worst outcome is Caleb Achilles tear week 1 hurting his long term development. I can’t believe I just said that. I feel like I jinxed it.

    Caleb can… comp to Kurt Warner. When Kurt arrived in St. Louis, they had a similar talent and play-calling resources albeit superior. If he can distribute like a point guard, he will succeed. Maybe not to Kurt’s incredible first season, but the on ramp to succeed is similar.

    Great podcast and insight. This was well done. As someone who follows the Bears closely, Eberflus is not on the hot seat--for better or worse. Ryan Poles loves him. If they go 9-8/8-9, Flus isn't going anywhere. They also reportedly paid Shane Waldron handsomely and paid Thomas Brown a lot to join his staff. They envision Brown being the eventual successor to Waldron should he get a HC job in the next few years.

  • @Yatazachqa-E-S
    @Yatazachqa-E-S 3 месяца назад +2

    There’s NO WAY all of those offensive coaches accept the jobs if Eberflus was a lame duck coach.Ryan knew Eberflus before he became the Bears GM so that dude is safe for at least two yrs.

Nd if he gets fired I don’t think he gonna be getting a nfl head coaching job i would just have him stay as a defensive coordinator specifically.
