Rome and Nabers alternated 2/3 on a lot of draft boards. It's cool they would tell us after the fact. I mean doesn't change anything right? Go Bears!
All the coaches, etc had HUGE smiles on their faces when they met Caleb in the room at the combine. Everyone knew and was thinking, “Yeah, you’re our guy. This just a formality!”
That was absolutely brilliant. It’s 01:40am here and had to stay up late to watch.

@@hamburglar83 No.....Did you not hear "For free"? Means they didn't even have to trade up for Rome. Poles already stated after the draft he thought he might need to trade up for Rome, but Ian told him to wait as it was playing out like they wanted. If they were prepared to trade up for Rome, why would Harrison be as you said "no chance to get him"? They got the guy they had at #2 on their board and as Poles says in the video to Warren "and we still have our 1 and 2 2s next year".
I guarantee they didn’t like the approach MHJ took to the draft.

@@mikelasjo6507 very true indeed. But, if anything can be said, it's about his approach to that dumpster fire and disaster this team has been for too long. He's the 1st GM to use the #1 pick since 1947. Though he passed on the 1st #1 pick he had. He seems to be putting together a team, through drafts and trades that has some longevity. Something that hasn't been seen at least in my lifetime which is 50 years. Even our 85-86 bears were 1 and done. I'm a die-hard like many. We haven't seen longevity since before the merger. The problem I see is if this season is a complete flop. Heads will roll again and we're back to square 1. At this point, it's a make the playoffs or bust season even before the draft.
@sinnedsinister flus has gotta prove he can win consistently as head coach. Couple games last year were squarely on him and his passive play calling. Definitely gotta end over 500 or he is realistically gone.

Look at this. A front office that was so committed and worked as a team and meant business. Something we haven’t seen in forever. They did their part now time for the players and coaches to do their part.

my favorite Bears production ive ever seen. Ive been watching everything you guys have done for years. Im a lifelong fan, this is a brilliant production. Bear Down all! As a NY Giants fan, I came over to watch what the Bears had to say about Odunze and enjoyed this video. Odunze was who I was really hoping we'd take for our pick as I think he was the best option for our needs as well as having the maturity to deal with the NY/NJ media. I'm not complaining about having Nabers, as I'm sure he has lots of talent but I'm a fan of Odunze and think the Bears got a steal there just by letting the draft come to them.

This was just a sensational watch and I'm just blown away by how good this front office is. I'm accustomed to seeing other teams having that sort of savvy but never thought the Bears would. Ryan Poles is the savior this franchise needed. Also, the reaction from Kiran Amegadjie and his family when he got drafted, that's what this is all about...I got goosebumps watching it. Well done to the production team for putting this together. I can't wait for the season to be here already!
