- I finally develop my dream speargun! This is something I have wanted to do for a very long time and I'm thrilled to be getting closer to it all the time. This is prototype number 2. We will continue to test and roll out prototypes until we settle on a final version.

Nice speargun is a rollergun. In Italy they have been used for more than 25 years. Today there are more efficient systems derived from the rollergun. They are: double rollergun , inverter roller, double inverter roller , volcan and sail system(vela)

I 100% suggest keep doing experimental recipes on your channel it's probably my favorite thing to watch is fresh harvested ingredients turned into something new and glorious through a new idea/recipe.
Very interested in your pool evaluations. For some reason not many people that speak English do them. I have tested many designs in my pool for Myself. My favorite is a 120 carbon single compound roller. Top band with a cord inside to limit the stretch to about 300 % tied to 2 bottom bands.

For me the trigger mech is key. When you push the shaft in it should make a nice solid positive click, no jiggling the spear shaft to engage it in the mech like with my Pathos. I really like the Andre and BaRa Sub mechs, really solid.

A knotted line or rope ladder dropped in water before you dive will help getting out and save lots of wear and tear or your suit.
You're on the right track. I have the same barrel and a double roller from Chris Coates. Biggest difference from yours is I'll be using a rob allen handle, reel, and 7.5mm double flopper shaft.

@@kevinmycoo1924 I think RA and Coatemans CDR/CSR are different rollers completely.
How are you ballasting your guns? I found the same barrel / handle but using the mannysub double roller head. It's hard to find any info online to build your own guns
@@allanjr808 so the barrel I got had plugs pre-installed and it just worked out right. With double roller and 7.5mm shaft it would be slightly negatively bouyant at surface and float with shaft out.

i have the same handle...the dyneema not wearing...you it just get flat...but 1.8mm better to use.

where did that barrel come from? looking into ordering one to build a gun but it’s hard to order living in hawaii, i like to feel touch and hold when i buy something but that’s not an option for us
Is that a rob allen roller head on that barrel? I have the same handle and no complaints about it so far.really smooth trigger pull with some 16mm small id as well..i use a 7mm and 7.5mm spear on the same gun

Hi Ryan! Im from Stuart, FL. Living in San Diego for the last 10 years. Question, I can only dive to 40 feet for a minute. Been at it for a year. How did you get to 80 foot dives and how long did it take to train?

Another awesome video...🤙🏼 As for the nuggets, they are more than healthy. Especially with the butter, which is essential fats just like animal fats. I eat alot of butter and it got me off of my high-blood pressure pills and made me loose weight as well. Nice gun, I'll be watching and interested on your final product... 🤙🏼

I think a good idea would be if u guys marinated it in pickle juice just like u do with the chick fil a and it will be 100 time better! (Maybe even put it on buns like the chick fil a)

Awesome hunting and a spectacular gun! One criticism, you broke off a living coral piece by grabbing it at 10:10 in the video. I'm just getting into spearfishing and am amazed at how much the youtube stars I've been watching grab or lay on sensitive animals. I understand it wasn't intentional but it can still kill a coral head. That coral may have been 20+ years old and it takes forever for reefs to form and grow. They are delicate. They provide great habitat and I think spearos should try to be good stewards of the reef. As you know, many parrotfish rely on corals for feeding. Corals provide structure/habitat for many different fish species. People look up to the best guys and it sets a bad standard for others watching when we aren't careful on where we grab or lay the reef. It can cause a lot of damage and makes the spearfishing community look like we don't care about the ocean. If we learn what's coral and alive versus rocks covered in algae, it will go a long way in preventing reef damage. There are plenty of algae covered rock knobs that make better hand holds versus live corals which break super easily. Looking forward to seeing the finalized gun!
