Love it! The best opening intro sequence for the DroneMask2 I’ve seen. Awesome job Chad B. You’ve become one of the best video content creators on YT hands down. Always will be a fan of your work. 👏🏻👍🏻
Two things: I’d love to see you make a video all in FPV mode pretending to be a bird, I’ve always thought that would be fun. 2nd thing will that work with the new Controller with the screen?
HI Chad. I flew a friend's mini 3 pro the other day in sport and fpv mode with my dronemask. It was a fantastic fun flight. The mini banked very smoothly compared to my evo 1 in fpv mode and I hit 34 mph once in sport mode. Everything was great, no issues. I have never worn any of the dji goggles. Are they really that much more incredible than using the drone mask? That's one of the deciding factors between a avatta and mini 3 pro for me. I love the quietness, flight time and under 250 gr of the mini though. I think you've watched my videos before.check out my mini3 pro in fpv flight...
Hey Mike, its a whole different experience. There are 2 lenses instead of one screen so it takes some getting use to. The Goggles 2 are lighter and more intuitive. Flying the Avata is a lot better than flying the camera drones in fpv.
Morning Chad! Good video! I have a question for you. At the end of your video your flying in FPV mode. Ive never flown a real FPV drone, like the Avata, but i have put my Evo 1 in FPV mode before with the drone mask 1 , and I get that same wobble that you got at the end of the flight. Is that because you have to fly with both sticks? And does the avata do the same thing? Every FPV flight I have ever tried does the same thing. I can never get a real smooth flight or turn..
Unfortunately, FPV mode on the camera drones just simulate/mimic the motions of manual flying so you will never get it as smooth as the real thing. This is because of the flight characteristics and way the sticks control the aircraft. Flying the Avata in Normal and Sport mode is better than flying the camera drones in FPV mode.
Some people want the ability to use their drone without having to constantly look down at their phone mounted to their controller. We're the pro controllers with they're own screens

they look goofy man
They need to lower the price by at least $100 in my opinion
Yeah they are a bit pricey 😱
Agree 👍 180 for goggles without a display it's ridiculous. Seems a decent product but price is really terrible value
Will the mask work with the newer DJI RC that has DJI Fly built in? Can the system run the app in the RC AND in the phone at the same time?

Hey Michael thanks. It been a while...I hope all is well.
@@ChadB You’re always welcome bro. All is well here. Hoping the same for you on your end.
Love this review!
Does this work for the DJI mini 3 and the DJi Rc Screen controller?
I liked this idea, thanks for sharing 😊
Nice Makes me want to go get one asap . Very Cool Chad Thanks for sharing. Definitely will use the link.

@@ChadB Great! thank you!
how about battery life and how about range of this drone?
Hi ı have DJ mini 3 pro rc screen remote controller can ı using with dronemask2 ?
As of now, there no way to tether your phone to the dji rc.
Cool 😎
CHAD,,,What's good FAMILY...
Not much. Same Ole...
Very odd device, people just need to run FPV. Its not like DJI didn't just release the Avata.
