You do a great job with those. I don’t know if this too personal of a question to ask, but I guess I’m most curious as to how this job balances with your life outside of work. I remember you mentioning something about coming from one of your kids basketball games, is it hard to balance the job with the family and all? I’m a UPS driver and this time of year I end up spending more time inside my package car as opposed to being home (although with COVID it’s been like peak season all year round). Somehow, my wife and I make it work, but It’s not easy. Curious to hear how you make it work with your job schedule. Thanks again for the awesome videos man!
@@katpyss hey, thanks for the question. This job is very tough on families. I have missed more birthdays, more sports events, several anniversaries., etc of my family. There are times that because of that, I truly HATE the job. I will say this, that when I am home, I truly try to be "HOME" and engaged. I try to support my wife when I'm home and not home in anything she needs to get through a rotation. On this job, it truly takes a team to make it work. If my wife was supportive, then it just would work (nor be worth it to me).
Brody, Glad to see Ex Waterski (TransStates) guys get jobs. I was there from 1990-1997. I started in the Metroliner. Had a lot of fun, met lifelong friends and learned to fly there. Nice to see a crew like you guys getting along and having fun.
You are welcome. It was nice to see when you have two captains in the corporate cockpit. But as you said you pilots have to do more than just fly. You have to clean the aircraft on your own and/or help the F/A to do everything else. Also, that is a beautiful aircraft you fly. Thanks.

I was wondering if maybe you could make a video explaining how someone with 0 hours can get into aviation and help out some of us that just see how confusing it can be with all the different licenses and ratings you can get. Great videos, always fun to watch and just make me want to fly more.

hey thanks Doug for the Comment - Not always as far as pilot flying sitting in the right seat - in the airlines or other larger charter / or other operations the captains sit in the left seat. Since Brodie is a captain in training and has not done is official captain upgrade, he sits in the right seat.

So I used to work at US Aviation in Tulsa where 227WE was based. Also worked at Tac-Air kbdl where I came into work one morning to see 227WE sitting on the ramp. Now years later your channel shows up as a suggestion from youtube.. weird!!! Glad I got fuel and tow your aircraft a few times!
we are not hiring - in fact - everyone was let go. I was at the airlines - in fact a few of us pilot were ex-airline guys. I like the charter life in some aspects, and in other aspects I dont, just like there are some things about the airline world I really like, and some things I dont, although right now - might need to go back to the airlines (when they start hiring again).

in general Yes, the CA is in the left seat. You can have the pilot flying in the Right seat as well.

Are they hiring at your company? Where is your company’s base at? Do you want to fly for the airlines someday or do you like doing charter?
we are not hiring - in fact - everyone was let go. I was at the airlines - in fact a few of us pilot were ex-airline guys. I like the charter life in some aspects, and in other aspects I dont, just like there are some things about the airline world I really like, and some things I dont, although right now - might need to go back to the airlines (when they start hiring again).

Brodie made the transition from rotary wing to fixed wing! That is not supposed to be so easy to convince an airline to hire you!
Last year it was..airlines were begging rotor pilots to transition. The big sign on bonus and paid training helped too
Like said here - last year they needed pilots badly, so many rotor folks took advantage of the airlines helping them transition. Today - not so much.
