@@jerrywhite2390 hey jerry how do we book direct with the pilot and avoid the large agency fees? Is there a way to reach out to you directly? Thanks
When I first stumbled on this video. I couldn't believe it was over an hour, by the end of it I wasn't ready to end it and wanted more. Great job!!
Thank you very much.

video brought back great memories. im a retired corp. pilot, for a major corporation. looked foward to retirement but really miss the crews, the flying, etc. Enjoy every minute of it ,it goes by too quickly. we had the best job in the world
Thank you so much for watching. . . and I bet you're right; even the bad days with a great crew will be something that is missed when it's not there anymore.
Underrated channel!
thank you Major! Very nice of you to say. Let me know how to make it better and what you might want to see next. We will see what we can do.
@@jerrywhite2390 Honestly I'm having a hard time finding anything that needs to be improved, perhaps the length of the video. I had a pleasure watching 1h of you flying across the US but perhaps other folks don't have the time. But in all honesty the video was interesting for the whole length so I don't see where you could cut some parts out, perhaps making two parts out of one long video is better for some, because then they'll stick around the video longer as it's not a full hour long or so. Content wise I don't really think that there's a ton to improve because as you mentioned in the end, your job consists of changes and irregularities which makes each video unique, you could however do some smaller videos in which you go over certain aspects of your job, for example do a full tour of the jet and take some time explaining how it works etc., I think that'd be interested for some folks that don't know how private jets (or planes in general) work or maybe (just maybe) try to get in contact with people such as Swayne Martin and maybe do comparisons of your work, the jets (I mean both Embraer) or something. This could really gain you a lot of traction as people are actually really interested in aviation, they just don't know much about it so making simple/10-15min videos sometimes may be received really well. Hope I could help a small bit, have a fantastic day and I'll be waiting for the next video for sure 😉

Understanding the effort that was put in to this on top of your job, I just want to say this is one of the better videos I’ve seen on RUclips.
thank you
This is honestly one of the best Pilot videos I’ve ever watched. Currently I am working on finishing my ratings and after that I’m stepping into the airline world. I feel like this video gave a lot of insight/ tips and tricks on what it’s like being a pilot (in any facet). I hope to see more videos like this one in the future and thank you for taking the time to do this. Job well done!
Thank you Bruce - good luck with everything. Thanks for taking the time to commit.
Jerry White thank you!
Hello man, how it is going? how old are you? I am asking because I am 24 and also want to be a pilot, but very probably I will only have money for it at like 28 years old and Im afraid It will be too late..
you ned to get out more. try stevio kinivo1 for a real inflight video. complete with all controller communicatins.
Terrible non productive health destroying job!!
Don't be shocked bro but i'm watching this in Kenya and I totally enjoyed it. I'll be waiting for the next one whenever it shows up. God speed
much love from California Brother :
These videos are a godsend to someone who is horribly afraid of flying. Seeing you casually go on with your day just like I would at my job is really calming. I have only taken a handful of flights in my life but i’m pretty tired of having to drink on every flight to relax, and land feeling hungover and wasting a day of traveling nursing it. Please keep posting!
Ha ha ha thank you!!!! I know traveling can be very nerve racking!!!
Don't drink. Take 2 basic Benadryl. Calms you and prevents motion sickness. Flown many times, Europe, Asia, etc.
Yes, very good advice...ease off the booze if nervous about your flight. Plus, you will really enjoy a glass once you're back on the ground.

You captured our week/ life on the road perfectly. What a fun video!🛩🛩🛩🛩
Thanks boss, means a lot coming from you!
You def bring energy and excitement to the adventure!! Hope this crew works together again soon! Happy flying!
You guys are fun to watch! Hope I can get a set like y’all one day or another, Stay safe!!
You kept them in check beautifully.

Your hair was amazing!
Jerry is the type of guy that makes you want to be a commercial pilot, great sense of humor and makes the job fun!
Wow - thanks William, very nice of you to say. I do try to keep it light and yet professional - but mostly light . .LOL it does make the trips easier when everyone is laughing.
Jerry just seems like a fun guy to fly with. If I ever become a commercial pilot I hope to find someone as chill.
Heroes. Pilots and crew are heroes in my opinion. Greatly contributing to the economy and society. Getting people to meetings, getting people to there destinations, not to mention directly and indirectly providing jobs at airports , hotels, etc. Must be a very demanding job but we need people like you. Thanks for your service. Canada.
I love these day in the life videos so much. It really gives me an insight to what it's like being a pilot as that had been my dream forever. I'm almost done with highschool and Ive never been more determined!

@@jerrywhite2390 you are awesome.
Grateful you shared this trip - loved to ride along with you and your team. Really appreciate all the work you put into this vlog. Hello from London, England ; - )
Jerry, much respect to you. I used to do a fair amount of travelling on my job. I retired back in January and I gotta tell ya I don't miss being on the road at all. Staying in hotels all the time. For me it got old after over 20 of years of being on the grind. Being a pilot like yourself with all the extra responsibility and the stress of the job I know how taxing it is on the mind and the body. So hey man, do your best to take care of yourself, relax every chance you get and squeeze some fun in when you can. Take care Jerry. I know it's a lot of work but please try to do another one of these videos. I know I'd appreciate it. I rarely sit through a youtube video that is over an hour in length but this was great from start to finish. Thank you so much! Take care. : )
Hey Mark . . yeah, you are right, life on the road is tough, but 20 years of it is BRUTAL! Thank you for taking the time to watch the whole thing (I don't know if I could . .lol) .
Hello Jerry! It's hard to see people like you, your joy and energy is contagious. Congratulations and greetings from Brazil.
Hey mike thank you for the nice compliments - man, I really do try to keep it fun and professional while on the road. Figured if we could all laugh a little while stressed and tired, it would make life a little better.
This was one of the best Pilot Vlogs I’ve seen. Great job...thank you!
Thank you Patty - anything you'd like to see in the future to keep it good? Love to produce content that is engaging and keeping folks interested and maybe even inspired.

This was outstanding! Thanks for putting this together and sharing. Hope you got a few days off after the trip!
Thank you Ryan - yeah - we get 8 days off between trips.
i like how you laugh with your collegeaus...this takes the edge of a stressful day...
I think the best way to handle stressful and long days is to 1) thank people often 2) laugh a lot! Thanks for taking the time to post.
Thanks for putting in all the work for this video, watched it all the way through and loved it!
Thank you Dawson.
I’m sure putting this much great content together was a ton of work! Thank you. I would love to see more of these long videos documenting a full trip.
hey thank you Erick - yes, it is a TON of work and kind'a pain while shooting the footage and doing the job. It is also a pain for the poor flight crews with me that endure me sticking a camera in their face all the time. And putting it together does take some time.
Fun video to watch, thanks for taking the time to film it. Also great for us virtual pilots that you show the route so we can jump in our sims and fly the trips our self.
thank you!!!! Heck yes, go do it! If you want to have fun - do the Aspen LOC. You'll have fun at the end.

Loved your video. Thought to myself, oh my an hour but it seemed like 10 minutes. Very informative. It was great that you shared a piece of what you do. Yes you are correct it’s not for everyone. Wow thank you Judy! It was long, but I tried to make it entertaining for the most part. Yep, the airlines can be a "tricky" place to hold employment (but so can charter - maybe even more so). Thank you for your wonderful service in the airlines for so long! And thanks for posting.

Absolutly love the vlogs. Keep them coming, any content during your workday is awesome. I spent 20 years between the U.S. Navy (4) and the U.S. Marine Corps (16) and Retired, all on the Aviation side. I love flying, and working on aircraft and parts. I loved the part where you did the test flights with the mechanic. I saw you guys a repo men and the mechanic was your security/body guard. I'm glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see your next adventures.
I absolutely love this aviation content. I also realize that you can't possibly do this all the time but whenever you got the TIME to film and edit, it certainly is awesome. Thanks for bringing me along with you and hope to see more of this to come. I'll definitely stick around 😁
Thanks Kevin, Yes it is some work - and I want to give content that is NOT the same all the time (which is a challenge). I'm always open to ideas.
I really enjoyed this, Jerry. Thanks for showing a real in-depth view of what you do. Fantastic video, I can tell you put a lot of work into this.
Thank you Andrew! hope it helped to shed some light on this side of the job.
He does. And he does everything without ego.
Jerry White thanks for replying man, again I thought this video was great. One question, so after that trip is done, how long do you get off until you start up again?
@@katpyss we get 8-10 days off. the way it works is at least 8 hard days off - we might have an extra day if a trip finishes early or one starts really late on day one. Great question.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It really has cemented my goals of being a corporate pilot. I hope you can continue to create videos of your journeys. You have a great crew with you as well, they made the video that much better!

I love the video Jerry! I used to instruct in TKI and I’ve seen this plane there many of times! I’ve also seen a slow Cessna make you guys do a go around in TKI.
ha ha ha Oh yes!!! That was a fun day!!! Very cool and small world... thank you for posting.
Still a student pilot training in Cessna 172 but I did make an impatient Delta hold short to cross RWY from when I was on short final all the way to when I executed my stop and go. Seemingly, he didn’t know what he was waiting for at night with no other planes in sight. He radioed in asking the tower for clearance twice before he told him about me being on short final. Sitting in my little 172, I sure got a bit of a superiority complex then.

Hi Michael Scott, just finished watching this an hour long video which I’ve never thought myself would be able to finish it. I’m half an aviation nerd and this video is such an attraction to me that while it possesses a good amount of professional knowledge which you’ve done a fine job of explaining, your humour and the daily part of it balances the video out so it doesn’t become an on field Crash Course of avionics. Such a great video. Bravo to you and your crew and definitely looking forward to your future life of a pilot videos.
hey thank you so much Oscar! Really appreciate it. I was really trying to go for the whole "inofo-tainment" vibe. And yeah - an hour long video!!!! Crazy I know.
Hey Jerry. This was the first one of your videos I have watched and I enjoyed it. A lot of work indeed, all things considered. I liked and subscribed and look forward to looking at some more. Carry on.
Hey Jerry this video was really cool I’m at a crossroad in my life right now not quite sure what to do but I think this just sealed the deal Thankyou for your insight into the aviation world I’ve always loved flying as my dad flew commercial and has his ppl keep making videos like these!
Oh man that is great Harry!!!! I'm glad it helped! Good luck man!!!
Hey Michael Scott! loved the video, your personality is a great thing in this industry. I don't know if you mentioned it anywhere and sorry if I missed it but after a 10 day trip what do your days off look like? is it only 2 days off or does it vary?
Hey thanks! LOL - yeah 10 days on - 8 hard days off.
Just came across this. Finally glad to see a “real” video of life on the road as a 135 pilot. I’ve worked (currently unemployed thanks to COVID) 135 and fractional for 17 years (that can’t be right) and people don’t realize how draining and exhausting it can be. I had one job where every day was 12+ hours and 3-6 legs most days. I recognized all too well the look on your face when you were driving home at the end of your tour. 😬 That life is not for the faint hearted. Great video and looked like a fun crew!
Brian - Man that is a grind to do the 12+ hours for most days - we've been doing those a lot lately which is one reason I haven't posted lately. I feel ya dude!!!!! Yeah, not as "glamourous" as most people think!
Jerry, you and your crewmates are naturals for this kind of stuff. Professional and fun. I've subscribed of course 😊 I'm now going to watch your latest video and I'm sure it will be just as entertaining as this one was.
Thank you so much for sharing your lifestyle with us. It's great to see what other people get up to and especially cool when it's a pilot thing. 😎
Hey thanks!!! Thanks a lot.
Wow this job is really similar to what i do as an owner operator. Very true that change is the only constant. Same thing in transportation: Schedules change, vehicles mess up at the worst time, balancing the hours of service, checking the truck for compliance, dealing with traffic, being gone from home, all nighters, etc.. But at the end of the day its all good. Like you said, very lucky to have a job in these times likewise. Good content on the vids and definitely will be on the look out for more. Its interesting to see how it is for the fellows up high from me. Also from Texas as well that is cool! That area of Austin is cool and definitely modern although that airport driving into it got me nervous lol. Take it easy man and hope work picks up for you guys as well
thank you for taking the time to comment.
wht, make a vid.....bet there would be a lot of interest.
I can't become a pilot but this video makes me feel so involved and happy. Good work! How much do they pay you? It seems hectic though.
once you get used to the hectic, it's not too bad, although after a 10 day trip I'm pretty fried. As far as pay, it's 6 figures plus.
Watched the whole thing start to finish, glued to my seat.
Thank you for helping a student pilot experience a glimpse of the dream.

This was an awesome video, love the chemistry between you and the other crew members. Definitely worth the hour plus run time. The time flew by to be honest because this was such a great video. 👍
Thank you so much Jay
I noticed you say “The whole nine yards” occasionally. Here’s the origin.
The whole nine yards:
The bullets for the machine guns used in American combat planes of WW2 and since were in chains twenty-seven feet in length. Thus if a pilot was able to fire all his bullets off at one target he was said to have given his adversary 'the full nine yards'.
one of several unproven theories
