      Beautiful Home. Have a wonderful life in it. It is also a great idea to take an empty warehouse and turn it into an apartments for the homeless people live in. or even rent low income people.

    I'd love to know what the total cost of this project ended up being! You talked about how cheap the original warehouse was and lots of ways to save money but never actually discussed the costs of things. Other than that it was a great series. If you continue with more seasons, I'd definitely suggest letting the viewers know what the total cost of these homes are and even doing breakdowns of what the costs accrued on each episode are. Just a suggestion.

    • @kb9847
      @kb9847 6 лет назад +8

      I did catch that the kitchen sub total was $30,000 dollars!! That wasn't including labour I don't think. Also, didn't include things like pluming, electrical etc. So I can just imagine the total cost!! I would love to know.

    I think this DIY episode is epic! From warehouse to the bank vault for you. I love my Lowe's, always have, always will. I must admit, the title is what piqued my curiosity... I'd never heard the term 'warehome' and thought it was catchy :-D I've actually watched all 10 episodes in one morning! You didn't know that your last 12 months could be condensed in only a few hours, did you? ;-P
    Allan, I applaud you for the foresight of uncovering a true diamond in the rough. Luv luv luv that catwalk! Kudos to Allan's sister for thinking outside the box on this one! Sarah, I commend your tolerance, tenacity and courage for taking on such a *massive* project! Kids, your patience through this project is well rewarded by the beautiful rooms you both have ;-)
    Allan, yes, you have indeed inspired me. I live in a 1500 sq.ft townhouse with a teeny tiny small kitchen up in Ottawa (Ontario) Canada. It is in a sad sad need of a make-over and I will make absolutely sure to visit the Lowe's kitchen department for ideas and advice!! Thank you so much for sharing your project, your home not to mention a fair part of your life. Enjoy the fruits of your hard labour.
    thank you, Lowe's, for sharing this project.

    • @omgubler
      @omgubler 6 лет назад +19

      Darlene Sterling it's not your home what's the problem? Several people have public addresses. Heck, you can find almost anyone's address online if you try hard enough. Plus this is such a public project it would have been easy to find anyway.

    • @crazcraz8908
      @crazcraz8908 6 лет назад +22

      even if they tried to hide their address, all people would have to do is google this warehouse in florida and use google maps to find it. so the address would be found anyway. and they'd probably be criticized for trying to hide the address XD

      go to spokeo and type your name in, did your age and home address and phone number show up? All your past addresses and phone numbers too huh? Even all your relatives and the people who live in that home? The home's worth? How much you make a year? All your extended family? Parents? Yup, that easy. You have internet, a cell phone, a smart TV, social media. EVERYTHING you do, buy, and say is tracked. You can even click the address and see the street and what the house looks like. Facebook will fill in the pictures of you and your friends and what you been eating and bragging about on social media.

Binged watched the episodes on this lovely Saturday morning. Totally want to go to Lowes to assess the expertise on bathroom & kitchen projects for my home. Thx for sharing & omg; I almost forgot to say that your husband is a hoot. He kept me smiling with his sense of humor. Also, your ware home is totally amazing. Love Love Love your finished product. It surely fits your family. The one & only thing I didn't care for was the chairs around the kitchen isle. I know ppl mix things but the taller ones I love. But, that's part of what makes us unique & different is our taste in various things. One more thing. Sorry! Wish you guys would have shown us more of your artwork. Your family is quite talented.

    I binged watch all of these videos this morning. So great. Thanks for making this Lowe’s! I’d subscribe to similar downtown renovation projects in a heartbeat.
    I was bummed about the comment of “great view of downtown” for the daughter’s room but the video didn’t show it! I’d love a follow up video about downtown living with kids.
    Make more content please!

    Love how the kids got to share what they loved, too often children are forgotten on projects.
