Here's my reasons why AEW sucks. 1) Incompetent management 2) The Young Bucks 3) The wrestlers egos in AEW go unchecked 4) Toxic backstage environment 5) AEW never pushes wrestlers of colour 6) Big guys are looked down and never get pushed, they often get buried 7) The Media Scrums 8) Tony Khan loves Twitter drama 9) He has too much talent, half of the talent go to waste and never get any TV time 10) Dave Meltzer has influence in the company 11) AEW constantly insults my intelligence 12) Too many no sells in matches 13) AEW only caters to marks, and puts off casual fans 14) Poor TV ratings 15) AEW fails to capitalise on controversies to be implemented into the storylines
It’s obvious that Tony is picking up his favourites in AEW, and it is these four guys. You have so much amazing talents in their company, but Tony refuses to push them. Guys like Lance Archer or Samoa Joe in your roster and ending up buying them like dirt. Tony is a terrible boss and a terrible booker. He doesn’t have any knowledge and experience in the wrestling business.
Great point. So many amazing talents and I don't even think creating another show will fix it because Collision will be cursed by the dark cloud of CM Punk.
Well I agree that Darby, Sammy and Jack all should be champion one day there is a bunch of talent that's not used at all not to mention that Sammy and Jack aren't really ready for AEW championship imo
@@yourboyj5564 And he creates fan fiction, not wrestling. How is he not screaming at people when on TV (where it should look its best), you can clearly see people missing moves and punches by a mile.
Lance Archer should definitely be pushed. Guy has a good look, tall and an amazing theme song. Everybody Dies! Yet he's treated as a Jobber over these vinalla midgets :(
While I agree I think that this is the right move. I believe that mjf will retain at DON and this will hopefully lead to a Cole vs MJF at All out. To make it full circle Darby should beat MJF At Full Gear in the main event of the same event that they opened.
I could name multiple issues with AEW... But 95% really boils down to TK not being good at his job... The other 5% is the roster and commentary... I really want AEW to succeed but its hard to have faith when Impact has better storytelling and a far better women's division....
right that’s what I’m saying and if it takes one superstar (cm punk) to split your roster in half bc of him that’s really telling. Not to mention Tony’s roster is inflated debuting talent every single week causing the half the roster to not have tv time. Tony only cares about a rating he doesn’t care about the fans when the fans give him a rating for 1 million viewers he thanks everybody but when he doesn’t yo hell with the fans tony refuses to change if he doesn’t care why should we why should we have faith when he doesn’t why? bc we love wrestling we want to be entertained so we have hope but if thing’s continue to remain how it is we will surely lose the faith we once had.
@@yunpacc265 To y listened to the hardcore fans too much. Casuals and other fans told them they were making horrible decisions and AEW fans are delusional and think everything is amazing, while TK believes them. They’d also tell others, “if you don’t like it, don’t watch it”. Well….. we’re not.

Exactly. The top keys to wrestling is characters, personalities, presence and dramatic storytelling. Someone might ask me “what do you mean by presence?”…look at Goldberg…one of the biggest reasons dude blew in the late 90s was because he looked like a wrestler, he looked like a beast, he looked like a badass, he carried himself like a badass. That made people stop and say “who’s this dude?”…no casual fan is looking at Sammy Guevara, Darby Allen, Adam Cole and Jungle Boy in the same light😂😂
When the Aew was founded they said that they wanted to promote young talent, unfortunately I only see old wwe wrestlers lately and unfortunately the wrestlers at the AEW get injured quite often! reminds me more and more of the WCW
What they did to Hobbs is total bullshit. He did NOT need to cheat to beat wardlow just to give the belt back to him a week or 2 later lumping him in with qt Marshall and that tmz bullshit. Disgusting.
Hobbs has money written all over him. If Hobbs was in WWE, and hooked up with Lashley, he would make a shitload of it. Yet Tony would rather push a man with a neck like a stack of dimes that sticks his hands in his pockets.
Success im Europe means nothing. I am from Europe and people would sell out an arena with Spike Dudley vs. Zach Gowen on the card, simply because the european fans will always come to see american wrestlers they see on TV. When WWE sucked the most during the New Generation era, a show in Germany during that time was on fire like it was WrestleMania X-Seven. Bret was always a hero there, for the fans bigger than Hogan, despite the fact that Bret wasn’t a draw as champion in USA and a WCW european show in 2000 had the feeling like it was WCW 1997.

Tony's a billionaire's son who's given money to play with. He's not really a billionaire. And his booking is fan fiction. I'd love to see them succeed, but whenever he starts on a path that's good, he either derails himself or lets the whiny employees run over him. There’s so many reasons AEW has gotten bad but I personally think MJF is to blame. At a time where the company desperately needs someone to to take the reigns and shake things up, he’s more concerned with the fans, doing the same copy and paste promos and talking about WWE. As the world champion he should be the guy leading the charge and trying to improve the company regardless if you’re a heel or baby face it’s the world champions job to make the company better. Why Tony allows a 26 year old who hasn’t put any butts in seats to have a Lesnar/Reigns schedule is truly beyond me. I do hope AEW gets better but it’s quite obvious nobody working there wants to accept any criticism
It’s like they live in their own ego bubble like they can do no wrong. Obviously something is wrong cause AEW is barely getting views or audiences horrible booking matches and no storylines which is my biggest problem with AEW. Tony Kahn is delusional just like the AEW fans.
Here's everything I believe Tony is doing/ has done wrong; - Made himself booker. Sorry, dude just can't tell a story through booking. He needs to replace himself with Brian Danielson at Gorilla. Tony doesn't book to please the audience, he books his own wet dream matches and jerks off to them. - Did nothing about his talent and EVPs going into business for themselves against CM Punk. What kind of a boss lets his subordinates undermine his top star? - Fired CM Punk. - Hired Ric Flair. - Not firing the depressing alcoholic cowboy. - Not firing Jungle Baby (who is obviously under the devil mask.) - Dropping storylines right in the middle with no conclusion, no explanation, just dropped. I actually can't think of a single AEW storyline that has actually come to a satisfying conclusion. - Being far too loose with the safety of wrestlers. There's a new injury almost every week in AEW, and Jon Moxley is definitely going to die from hepatitis with as much as he bleeds in the ring. All the blood and gore is just gratuitous and only pleases a small hardcore loving portion of the audience. - Finally, when it comes to the talent, it seems he wants to be their buddy and not their boss. His head of talent relations, Christopher Daniels, is also friends with most of the roster, and he's not doing his job very well either. So many backstage disputes, and talent relations is supposed to be the person to settle those disputes. Seems Daniels doesn't do that. If AEW doesn't make big changes soon, they'll be relegated to about the same level as TNA and not considered a major promotion. His daddy is only going to put up with so much loss, and if the company doesn't become profitable soon, he may force Tony to sell it to WBD.
AEW is the WORST! I'd rather watch 2000 WCW, or TNA Impact at its worst over anything AEW has done since it's inception. And that's saying something! Lol People can say what they will about WWE, but they FAR outshine AEW in every single aspect. No contest. AEW is just the minor leagues. Period.
You complained about four young guys being given too much airtime, and then you complained about two old guys being given too much airtime. I'm not entirely sure what you want.
You don't think the four pillars earned it and were just randomly chosen? That doesn't make sense... Those four guys worked hard to even be noticed so to pass it off like they aren't responsible for their own success is a poor argument. Just because things are predetermined in wrestling doesn't mean you don't create your own luck.
What has Jungle Boy done other than be the son of someone famous? His matches are shit, his promos are terrible, and he hasn't had any angle worth anything in all the time AEW has existed, even with Christian trying his best. Darby and MJF earned their stripes, no doubt. But Jungle Boy is a nepotistic trust fund kid who coddled up to the Elite and Tony, and Sammy was handpicked by Jericho to be his stooge. Neither Jack nor Sammy have done the company any favors. They aren't pillars of anything, but Tony has to book these cringe ass storylines.
I think anybody who would have been chosen as a pillar would have done so with good reason. I'm not saying they're lazy and didn't work hard, I'm saying the act of becoming a pillar came out of thin air. There was no pillars tournament. There was no Pillars Battle Royal. No Pillars Belt. Not even a Pillars Ladder Match. It was just a term MJF pulled out of his ass and now people are running with it because it's on a t-shirt.
@@ProWrestlingBits I didn't even know MJF coined the phrase so that's pretty good knowledge you dropped... I just don't have cable so I more keep up with AEW and can't watch the shows complete.
Wrestling fanbases online are the most toxic wrestling fans. They are constantly insulting and being racist. For example last year when Syuri rightfully won women's wrestler of the year. WWE stans were being racist on Twitter just because Becky Lynch or Bianca didn't win number 1. Instead of being respectful, fans on every social media even on RUclips choose to ignorant and hateful. People don't understand the idea of if you don't like something don't spend all your time hating on it. Use that time to do what you like instead of being miserable all the time talking how much you dislike WWE or AEW.
Seems weird to spend your time making a whole video about something you don’t like lol. Every company has ups and downs, and now it seems it’s going back up, but it will have a slump again, then it’ll go back up again. Same as WWE and every wrestling promotion ever

“Right now” is crazy because they’ve always been bad😂. AEW’s audience isn’t growing because they cater to the IWC…wrestling fans who love workrate indy wrestling. That company will never reach the heights it could potentially reach if there gonna keep ignoring the casual audience and keep catering to the vocal minorities. And Tony Kahn is the biggest problem. The dude doesn’t understand wrestling at all…he’s just a dude living out his fantasy through his daddy’s money. If Eric Bischoff was given the power to book and sign talent for AEW with the financial backing of the Kahn’s…dude would come for WWE’s heads ten times harder than he did in the late 90s because Eric knows how to make wrestling a spectacle and not a niche product Sports Entertainment>Pro Wrestling

I'm sorry... but The Acclaimed are super overrated and The Young Bucks are garbage. AEW has horrible angles and no storylines... just terrible.
AEW has a bad habit of letting wrestlers get very hot and then cooling them off. I don't know why they do it, but it hasn't just happened to Hobbs, Cargill and the Acclaimed; Wardlow himself is a victim of this. One can also look at: Samoa Joe, Ricky Starks, Thunder Rosa, Luchasaurus in the early months of the company, Lance Archer and Jake the Snake, Eddie Kingston, Hangman Page after winning the belt, Jamie Hayter when she was ready for a heel turn on Britt Baker, Toni Storm, Ruby Soho, Sammy and Tay as a heel unit, Hook, Keith Lee going heel with Swerve and even Cody himself. It seems they can never pull the trigger or strike when the iron is hot; or if they do, they have nowhere to go once a wrestler receives peak popularity or ends an angle with victory -which is very strange considering how good the show was in it's first few years.
@@KruelAidMan Very much so, last year some time, there was a period when they were attempting to turn Britt Baker face, mainly after losing the belt to Thunder Rosa. Britt brought in Hayter as part of her clique with Reba/Rebel. Hayter would refuse to do the DMD sign as part of her gimmick, and would behave nonchalantly. It was building that she would go heel on Britt to take the belt, and even after Britt lost to Thunder Rosa, there were still hints leading into Forbidden Door 2022, but it was a story that they didn't capitalise on at the time.
That's called a rich mark with no wrestling experience trying to book a nationally televised promotion. AEW has never recovered from Brawl Out. It seems like once they finished the Hangman arc, Khan just let the whole thing turn into a clusterfuck because he was flying too close to the sun without realising it. The storytelling mostly turned to shit. They lost Cody. And then everyone started bitching (well everyone except for Mox). You could sense it was turning to shit and then kaboom, it all just exploded in the worst possible way. There is only one person to blame and that’s TK. He was happy to take all the flowers in the good times and talk about how he was the man in charge. Now he has to take the blame for imploding the quality and legacy of his own product - because make no mistake about it, Brawl Out is the legacy of AEW now. But he doesn’t appear to have the capacity to do that. I’m sure they’ll get a substantial bump from Punk returning, even just for the fact that some people will turn in to see if he implodes again. But the undercard is fucked and adding more shows to a product that has fallen off a cliff in terms of ratings and ticket sales won’t end well for the fans.

Let's be honest dude , this isn't "5 reasons why it sucks" it's more 5 reason why I don't like as much anymore. All these young talents who have so different fighting styles fighting together is great. to say they are just "spoiled childs" it's not a valid point cause in ANY wrestling promotion u have those that the public likes more, John Cena,Randy Orton,Jeff Hardy,Rey Misterio etc. They all shined in the 00's because they had the juice that had the people engaged so in AEW a lot of wrestlers that had a bunch of matches at rampage, black, etc etc never caught the public attention and that's the truth. A big promotion isn't like indi avenue where all u need is just ring moves. U need the...juice. 2 That's a GENERAL wrestling problem, even WWE struggle with that u can see they're trying, but it's a problem with wrestler worldwide again, not saying it's something they couldn't improve as black myself i would like to see more black top tier talent, but that's not an AEW problem it's a wrestling (frankly world problem) 3 Idk what's even the point here i'm not deep on wrestling social media drama, i think we were talking about the show. Again feels very personal the way u feel about the show+fandom. Again i don't really care about this Team AEW,TEAM WWE but i feel like people feel very personal about the show when they dislike some people and that's what i see in you're case. U remind me the people super angry with Vince Macmahon back in 2018 but now it's with Tony

AEW is worse than Hogan's TNA Era. The only reason I watch AEW Dynamite is to laugh at the botches. So many botches 😅😅. THIS IS WHY 99.8% of wrestlers shouldn't have complete creative control. I've wanted to like AEW for a while and I tried to but it's just looking like some cringy roleplay now. they have some decent talent but they're more interested in pushing WWE rejects and retirees. Tony Khan won't take this company anywhere, he's too much of mark and is trying to create his own wrestling wet dream with cheap pops instead of a good show.

Which isn't even true whatsoever liking a product doesn't make someone garbage. What that means of that somebody thinks everyone should like what they like. There are some fancy just want them to fail. It's usually the fence that called them the garbage for liking the show that want it to fail.
I want AEW to do well but honestly the product is not that great from the consent blading on cam to the lack of storylines to the spots that so many people think are good wrestling but looks unnecessary to me once you start playing with the the big boys the stuff that works in the indis just doesn't look well on TV
I was really hoping that with the trios division, there would be more chance to promote some of the under utilized talent, instead of bringing in more guys(ie: Vikingo and Komander). If they had booked the pillars properly, as this has obviously been the plan all along, this could have been a far better storyline. Jack doesn't give off superstar vibes. A lot of us still enjoy watching a match that tells a story and delivers, which most of the matches in AEW do not. Everybody has to "get their shit in", which leads to a million near falls of dudes kicking out of each others finishers multiple times.
@@Chris-sl1wh what a complete wreck his booking has been! I have to agree with Corny, on their terrible booking. They really need to do more storytelling both in their spots, and in their matches. How many times do we need to see Omega vs Moxley?
They've done an okay job with the Trios titles, and while there's nothing wrong with wanting to give fans awesome matches every week, that's not going to age well. Not for the wrestlers, and not for the product, which will be reliant on putting on these internet wrestling matches every week and that always comes with a ceiling. AEW really should embrace sports entertainment to draw in more casual fans/ex-WWE fans, and the matches should be the icing on top.
Aew is the only wrestling company with enough stars for 2 shows.could benefit from a draft and actually have 2 company's instead of just 2 shows so could even built up and do a real invasion story a few years down..its amazing all the can do and how little the actually do

3) The wrestlers egos in AEW go unchecked
4) Toxic backstage environment
5) AEW never pushes wrestlers of colour
6) Big guys are looked down and never get pushed, they often get buried
7) The Media Scrums

10) Dave Meltzer has influence in the company
11) AEW constantly insults my intelligence
12) Too many no sells in matches
13) AEW only caters to marks, and puts off casual fans
14) Poor TV ratings
15) AEW fails to capitalise on controversies to be implemented into the storylines

It’s obvious that Tony is picking up his favourites in AEW, and it is these four guys. You have so much amazing talents in their company, but Tony refuses to push them.

Allin isn't credible. No one is buying a guy who weighs less than some female wrestlers as a threat.

The black talent thing is a massive stretch. Why does it always have to be about race?
I’m getting bored of MJF never wrestling and his song and dance crap. It’s the same thing over and over again.
It’s like they live in their own ego bubble like they can do no wrong. Obviously something is wrong cause AEW is barely getting views or audiences horrible booking matches and no storylines which is my biggest problem with AEW. Tony Kahn is delusional just like the AEW fans.
If you book black talent too strong they might actually make pro wrestling credible
Leg's GO!
If you book white talent too strong they might actually make pro wrestling credible
Here's everything I believe Tony is doing/ has done wrong;
- Made himself booker.
- Not firing Jungle Baby (who is obviously under the devil mask.)
- Dropping storylines right in the middle with no conclusion, no explanation, just dropped.
Lol
People can say what they will about WWE, but they FAR outshine AEW in every single aspect. No contest. AEW is just the minor leagues. Period.

AEW has a bad habit of letting wrestlers get very hot and then cooling them off.

AEW is Impact with more money.
Let's be honest dude , this isn't "5 reasons why it sucks" it's more 5 reason why I don't like as much anymore. Yeah the show is getting stale but outside all you're points were personal.
1 Like u say u don't care about the pillar arc(neither do i) BUT TO say it's horrible to have 4 of the biggest grown talents on the AEW brand fighting eachother is a bad idea that makes the show suck u joking right? That feels a lot to you're personal taste instead of a valid point.
2 That's a GENERAL wrestling problem, even WWE struggle with that u can see they're trying, but it's a problem with wrestler worldwide again, not saying it's something they couldn't improve as black myself i would like to see more black top tier talent, but that's not an AEW problem it's a wrestling (frankly world problem)
3 Idk what's even the point here i'm not deep on wrestling social media drama, i think we were talking about the show.
I just wanted to hear someone shitting on AEW and know a little bit details. Didnt know a schumuck like JungleBoy considered a pillar. No wonder why this company is a failure
The Young Bucks and Brit Baker ! Top 3 whiners that get their way. Remove them, And that removes most of the drama.
Neither of them will ever draw a dime
AEW is worse than Hogan's TNA Era. The only reason I watch AEW Dynamite is to laugh at the botches. So many botches 😅😅. THIS IS WHY 99.8% of wrestlers shouldn't have complete creative control. They Can Never Reach That Level. 😂
Komander isn't even part of the trios teams? AEW still has the most protected finisher in wrestling.
I thought I was the only one that thought this way... I am not alone. Remember Miro???
