Try closing and reopen or turning off where you are playing it, that's is how I got it to work for me after it reset and then the cross migration should pop up
well now i connected my xbox and when i try to get into the game i get stuck on the screen where it says overwatch 2 and theres just no text on the bottom of the screen where it should say like connecting or something
After I waited a while it’s says my account is ready to merge and tells me to close the game but when every I close and reopen it nothing happens. I’ve tried waiting while my game is closed but nothing works.
I connected my Ps account to my Battle net account before the release of Ow2 but it didn’t got transfer too and when I want to cut the connection and reconnect it it says I will have to wait 365 days till I can connect it again.
I was able to get passed the confirmation to merge my PS account. It says to exit the game and it takes less than a minute for the merge to be completed. I waited and went back into the game and the merge status is still stuck in queue and the same message keeps popping up. what am I doing wrong :D

The same happened to me. I had an icon of Dva in OW1 and when popped the original Xbox account for merge suddenly the icon just stayed as the default icon. So now I'm afraid if I did something wrong.
Did any of you, before entering Ow2 (that is, even when ow1 was still alive) move your console account to another battlenet account? (Either to pass the confirmation sms with a number of your country or something) And if so, has the account migration confirmation message started to appear repeatedly? In addition to not having the skins or your saved data.
Update: If you don't get the Military Doomfist and Joker Shadow skins, then you should be concerned, as it's likely you won't get your skins back. Fortunately, all this can be fixed. If you have done what I explained in the previous comment, I have an easy solution. Return your console account to the battlenet account it was once linked to, that way ow will detect your data and return it to you This should be possible, as old battlenet accounts no longer use SMS protect, so there should be no problem starting.
damn, logged onto wrong ps4 acc, and accepted the inlog. and now when i try to take it away, it says something in the lone of "once you accept you wont be a ble to connect any other accounts for the next 365 days" any1 know if there's anything that i can do to switch accounts or did i just f upp?

So I have no idea what's happening. I couldn't do anything. However I logged into Battlenet on my PC because I wanted to change my account name, and check my accounts were linked. After logging back into overwatch it told me to merge my account as soon as I got to the main menu. I think logging into Battlenet, and opening the game a few times might trigger it. You don't have to have done anything in the previous Overwatch to merge. I literally think what's happening is the merge queue is so long that it just fails to activate unless you boot the game during a good time.

I got my account to transfer on my playstation even though I didn't have a battlenet account till overwatch 2 came out. I created a battlenet account and followed the intructions said in this video. Make sure your console is linked to your battlenet account even if the account was made today. If Overwatch 1 has been played on your console or any platform that's all that matters. Once you link your account on battlenet you just restart your overwatch 2 until it tells you if you'd like to merge your battlenet account (with the platform your playing on underneath your name) and just confirm and wait in the queue :)

If you merge from console to pc some skins will not transfer like noir widowmaker. You have to submit a ticket to see if they give it back to you. They released an update to give missing skins back but some dlc skins like widow noir are still not returning.
I don't get any pop ups telling me to hold a button to confirm. And when I go to the account merge tab it says ACCOUNT CHANGED In red when I believe it should say Confirmed any ideas how to fix that.

Still having this issue even a month later smh. I never got a prompt telling me i was put into a queue. After I held X to confirm the account merge it just told me to restart the game and then eventually the prompt just disappeared with me not getting anything.

Delete ur overwatch 2 saved data in option, and play about like 2 or 3 games. The system will automatically tells u to migrate ur account. Hopefuly it'll help ur issue. Good luck bud
I've had my battle net account connected before overwatch 2 opened and when I attempt to hit merge on the main menu nothing happens. This is all on xbox, never played on a different platform.

If it doesn’t load for you guys, try closing out your game and restarting it. If that doesn’t work, restart your gaming device. It’ll pop up eventually

@@madsemilmunksgaard8179, I did get it to work. I think it was because it was so new that everyone was trying to do it that it broke the servers.
I've had my battle net account connected before overwatch 2 opened and when I attempt to hit merge on the main menu nothing happens. This is all on xbox, never played on a different platform.

I did the cross progression and finished the queue but all I got was 1 skin for each character do u know anything about this
Okay I have a huge problem. So overwatch 1 was uninstalled and I cannot reinstall it because of the shutdown but if that's the only way I can merge it is this just a way of saying i lost everything I had?
And yes I tried clicking the merge button on overwatch 2 but it just makes a noise and does nothing, I'm on Xbox
It's a bug. The merging system has a lot of bugs rn, they try to fix them.

What if you only had one account that was on PC but still have not gotten all your old skins back?
I click on account merge, but it doesn’t do anything or pop up anything, it’s a bit annoying

If it doesn’t load for you guys, try closing out your game and restarting it. If that doesn’t work, restart your gaming device. It’ll pop up eventually
couple of hours to merge to unlocked the heroes....Overwatch went downhill when Jeff Kaplan left.

I had my accounts connected before the release of ow2 and the pop up after logging in never showed up on either my xbox or pc, when I log on to my xbox it doesnt show any of my cosmetics I had on it before, it only has what I had on my pc

Mine is still merging for a couple days it’s broken or something because it just says queue and then it says migration complete and then it goes back to queue then it says close game it will take less than a minute and then I turn it back on and it says the same thing so annoying

Hello do you know why, when i merge my account there's no queue, and only showen account merge complete, but there's nothing change at all, and i still use the same account before merged, and when i relogin the game, popup merge always showen

it works until the part were the merge in que tab appear, I don't have it. The first time i logged in on my xbox it said merge succed, but that was even before i tried to merge it over to my pc. Plz anyone know why it won't work.

You guys will have to close your app and open it again. It worked for me
