This feels like a character for people who played soldier/demoman from TF2 and is used to this type of projectiles weapons where you have to shoot slightly predicting where enemy will be when it hits :D
I really love the Venture playstyle when not playing on really open maps but somehow feel like they (idk how it works) has a lot of mobility but is still slow at the same time, idk if this happens to someone else.
@@DylanTsehring they/them have been used as singular pronouns for centuries. you use them for a person who's gender you do not know, or aren't sure of. you use them in your daily speech, and i'll give you an example. when you find someone's wallet, you go: "someone left their wallet here, I will bring it back so they can pick it up." amongst many other examples you have 100% used and continue to say. if you want to be ableist, at least be smart about it, Dylan.
you should try the shoot melee drill combo. If you do it perfectly the melee animation is cancelled by the drill, so it gives 30 extra burst damage. for example, at 3:19 you would have been able to one shot the tracer without the follow up shot :)

I mean if you WANT to main venture because you personally find them fun to play or you like the character then go for it, if your duo starts hating you for it then that's on them not you. Like everyone else, you are your own person and you have your own opinion about everything and you don't always have to follow and listen to others about something and it's ok to disagree with others opinions.

i've been learning venture and so far i've hit gold 4, do you have any tips on getting better with them mechanically(like improving aim) and dealing with characters that kinda counter them(sombra, pharah, echo etc.)?
Mechanically, I would worry about movement and ability management where you are right now and aim is the last thing you should improve because as you play the game your aim will improve overtime. As for counters, you can't really duel them as venture unless they're close to you so rather you should wait for them to make a mistake like example: echo used flight and has it on cooldown and is surprisingly close to you. (also sombra is not that big of a threat to you as venture)
the amount of skill this character doesn't need is unbelievable. aim barely required and a million get out of jail free cards and shield health on top of that
As overturned and oppressive as they are, venture is insanely fun and even as a venture hater they were a great addition to my dps roster and play style. I’m a hater and lover.
