I need an air blower Like this. But for my usecase It should Blow very smooth with Low Air pressure. Can you use one of this vor this Case?
Having trouble with this link, I purchased and followed link from email, ebay error says "error retrieving order" and order not found. Anyone else had this issue?
@@eugenewelsh3925 That is an error with ebay, nothing to do with this link.
This is the kind of testing that the world needs more of
That Lego train test was genius
Second this! The head to head on that train was a perfect way to show the power of these two against each other.
the hikoki is very impressive for it's size, power and cost. if the tool is durable, then I think hikoki hit it out of the park!
Their selling point has always been about durability
Not to mention it's 18v. So both types of hikoki batteries will work with it.
Ya, you speak of that, the hikoki is on 18V but Makita is a 40V! Yet the output is very close!
I own Makita As001gz and I can say for sure it was one of my best investment this year. Working as uPVC window/door installer and sometimes our tools and I myself get dusty so we use it all the time. Hikoki seems nice but I still prefer Makita and I want to buy some more 40v max tools from Makita
Finally.... a tool review that has LEGO as well. The only channel I need!
You're going to like some of my upcoming reviews then...
And there is even more LEGO on my other channel ruclips.net/user/buildsstuff
Hey thanks! G'day from Wollongong NSW
G'day
The double trigger pull is a great idea. So simple and easy, I want more tools with that feature.
Reminds of the td172 with the light lock
Issue is what if you want to pulse the air in the same way you do with drills/drivers etc. It would end up locking on instead and just become a nuisance.
You can't pulse these blowers anyway.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL I'm talking about manually pulling and releasing the lever to pulse.
Yes I know. And I'm telling you that these tools won't work doing that. The fans don't start instantaneously with each pull. Pull them in quick succession and they lose all power. I think I spoke about it in the Makita review I did.
I'm not so patiently waiting for Makita or Milwaukee to release an 18v version. These are incredible for their size.
there is a 18v one on ebay makita.
Video tonight
I love this way of testing tools.
metabo is definitely making my job easy imo. i work with computers and this paired with the new heat gun would be a dream combo for me.
This is your best video ever!
Hikoki's been killing it
Makita great too
Cheers dude.
Very entertaining and creative comparison once again! 👍🏻 My Makita Blower (AS001) has become one of my all-time favorite tools. You never run out of ideas on what to use it for!
mine too until i got its big brother ub001g. from then i barely use the small blower to clean things
@@regieregie748 I have the very similar DUB362z 18x2 blower and do use this a lot as well. I usually don't use them for the same jobs though. The little one is so handy for cleaning tools, clothes, drill holes, airing up pools etc or giving the car a quick clean up to give some examples. I'd never do that with the big brother all though it might look very entertaining 😉
Waiting for a 18v makita version
There is already bro
I was at a tool show this weekend, the Metabo version of the Hikoki is now out
That Hikoki will be great for detailing
So I bought the Hi kokie and I really like it something you should know about is if you pull the trigger twice it stays on
Please watch the video before commenting.
I did but it was a month ago. And I thought you said that didn't stay on like Makita but evidently I was wrong
I'll let you off with a warning this time 😉
Hello from Japan. It's pronounced "HE KOH KEE" . Love the channel!
I have been buying mostly hikoki now there's a few tools from makita I perfur but hikoki /metabo hpt is just more affordable
Please try to clean a dusty Makita 40V 125mm angle grinder, i want to know how it works out. Because it seems that my grinder breath's all it's own dust trough it's systems. Cheers
These are probably the two brands I want to stick with and possibly one more brand in America and just use them exclusively.
It's 230 am here in Colorado USA. Good morning
oh
I am waiting and waiting and waiting for Makita to release the 18v version of this blower.
its on ebay.
Video tonight
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL I have both 18v and 40v kits and need to know if the 18v is equivalent to the 40v in performance to make a purchase.
Been wondering what to do with my corded grinder..
Great video mucka!, not sure about the filter gauze on the hikoki being fixed in place 🤔, then again not impressed with the makita not having a dust guard inside the blower to stop shit getting all over the switch and other components 🤔, love the size of the hikoki tho and it’s power and lightness buuut I really don’t like that light green!,it makes me feel sick🤮
They had a nice khaki colored one. Shame it's not available anymore.
Anyone happens to know if Makita is releasing an 18v blower anytime soon? I’m on the LXT platform and would love a dust blower, but I don’t really wanna get a 40v battery and charger just for this tool. And I know myself, if I get into the 40v platform I’m going to end up spending a metric fktonne of money😂
AliExpress has lxt version with 40000rpms. sadly long time no see of some chinese ripoffs reviews here ;)
Read the comments on that Aliexpress knock off. Chances are it wouldn't make it to the end of the video.
And yes, they are going to release an 18v version.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL thanks mate. Guess I’ll wait it out then
Drunk Kiwi tries to burn down house. Forgets to plug in grinder.
89000 rpm? Nice... Lol
Yeah hikoki is lighter but makita is probably more balanced with 10cell battery so not a huge deal unless you use 5cell battery with hikoki which would make sense, maybe?
But very nice tool all in all!
These kind of reviews are not for the green minded😉 Nevertheless, great reviews sir!
Can I get a decibel comparison between the Hikoki and the Makita?
What a fun video, hope the air flow didn’t damage the poor filter😂
All good.
Can anyone confirm if the dust blower(or any attachment) for the hikoki work for blowing the dust out of holes drilled in concrete? Not really trying to invest in makita 40v.
Can you do a review of the 007 impact wrench and what the settings all mean?
That was a very unserious review 🤝
Nice just got the Makita 40v I like it alot
i like the makita.
Great video! Informative and fun to watch. =)
Thanks so much! That's what I aim for. Thanks for subscribing.
How much pressure do these make? Can you blow out a clogged drain?
How long is a piece of string?
depends on how badly your wife clogged it
Ich nutze Makita ich bin damit zufrieden 👍
How loud are these units?
Are they leaf blower loud?
They are pretty loud. Not quite as bad as most leaf blowers.
wish there was a hikoki sized makita
That felt like a Dragonball kamehameha battle
Wish the makita had a standard nozzle like the hikoki, looks to be either short or the long ones for concrete
How can I get the hikoki blower ?
These days depending on your area you can just buy it from the store. I did last week.
It doesn't get more scientific than that.😁
I absolutely love these little blowers! They’re such a massively underrated tool and I’m extremely impatiently waiting for a brand platform I’m invested in (mostly TTI) to come out with one. I’ve used the Amazon specials and they work quite well for 7-12v, can’t imagine what a well designed 18v could do. I’m impatient enough that I nearly bought the Makita, but I just can’t bring myself to invest in yet another battery platform. Yes I know Ryobi makes an inflator that can be used as a blower and I have one. It does not appear to be any more powerful then the Amazon model I have and after several seconds of running it becomes uncomfortably too hot to hold near the top of the grip. Poor design. Fingers crossed Milwaukee, Ridgid, or even Ryobi come out with a proper brushless axial designed blower.
Anyone know if Hikoki/Hitachi/Metabo plan to make a 36v version? I'd buy one asap.
I doubt they will find it necessary, but you never know. Just get the 18v

🤣🤣🤣Отличный груз для джакузи👍
Thanks
Булатный ЛАЙК мой 👍🇷🇺
'4 different speed or mode'.. no, those lights indicates the power left on battery!
No, the 4 indicator lights on the battery indicates charge left on the battery. The Makita has 4 speeds, toggled by the 'Mode' button on the base of the blower.
Wow... like wow...

Nice use of a corded grinder.😂
It seems like a total mess that they didn't include or have available separately a cyclone style vacuum attachment. That would have been super duper
11:50 😊
Makita way more better than hikoki..
Be thankful there’s no Smell-A-Vision to go with that gurgling geyser 🤢

Watching you trash something of value was disappointing. Don’t do that
I didn't trash something of value, it was a DeWalt.
Most corded tools don’t have much value… there’s more value in the entertainment of throwing one in the water where it belongs.
I have a $500 Viralex corded grinder that I’m trying to sell in the states… planning to replace with a $250 cordless Milwaukee or possibly Metabo. Also selling my other corded grinder and don’t intend to ever buy one again. Do you own corded drills and if so, why?
Cordless wins. If you want to be green a bullet is the gold standard or at least turn your heat off and live in a tent eating bugs. Corded grinder in the pool was great.
