As a Puerto Rican who lost someone during María, I can assure anyone that that number is entirely real. Maybe even downplayed. And Trump has, from the very start, been against the idea of assisting us.
Just read his tweets regarding the hurricanes that hit Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico respectively. 1 out of 3 is not the same.
Just from knowing that you went so long without water, proper food, electricity, etc, I always thought the 3,000 number was downplayed :/

So, it's almost impossible for a party to come to power, while garnering lesser votes than the others. It's still not ideal. But, it's the best we can have right now. Plus, while voting, we have an option called NOTA (None of the above), essentially meaning I don't have confidence in any of the candidates.

@@chucku00 Not really. It just gives you the satisfaction of sending a message. But, it's still better than not voting. It's one way of showing your dissent as a voter. It is also one way to incentivise the voter to cast his vote (though in favour of no one) and reduces the chance of voting malpractice, where someone else casts your vote.

what i found especially trippy about the moderate dog stuff... there was such a large amount of dizzying information presented in this clip prior to that moment... by the time it got to the "moderate dog" part i was only half concentrated... i was in like a super mild delerium where i was only partially processing the words... similar to when you are just slightly underwater in a pool and you can still hear what people above the water are saying, but their voices are muffled... and your interests are elsewhere
but when the graphic came up on the screen saying that phrase, in a flash the delerium wore off, and i thought "wait, what did he just say? moderate dog? what could this be about?"
and then i googled it, and TONS of articles came up that he does actually refer to Mattis as "Moderate Dog"... so that part of this clip was NOT Colbert lampooning Trump with a hypothetical... that was actually in the news!!! LOL
