I found the mcfarlane clayface to be a nice alternative to the baf clayface that I didn't complete. This past year, i think nearly all my mcfarlane pickups were at 25% off or better discounts.

I'm shocked Darwin wasn't even an honorable mention. And hey, at least that Mezco Wolverine comes with a fantastic assortment of accessories. Those alternate heads and hands make the figure worth it for me....almost
Yeah Darwin definitely belongs in the top 10 worst figures of 2022, along with a lot of the marvel legends. But it's his list, his opinion. I personally think the recent mezco wolverine is the best classic striped wolverine to date. In the top 10 best figures of 2022 for me. Not a perfect figure, but a great one. The biggest flaw is the price. $100 would have been fair enough. At least the set actually feels deluxe, unlike other "deluxe" figures in other lines.
I think Anthony's opinion on Hasbro is so low that their figures don't disappoint because expectations are so low. If you buy shit, expecting shit, you won't be disappointed that you got shit.

I loved The Batman movie, so I was really looking forward to adding the SHF figure...but it is atrocious at the 100 dollars price. I really hope mafex does it better.
Interesting list. The only one of these I bought is the Hatut Zeraze and I think you were a little tough on it. Sure, it’s a very basic/plain figure but you know that going in. I like the sculpt and hope to tweak it slightly into a White Tiger figure.

For me the Game verse Miles Morales was a huge letdown but Hasbro has such low standards they know some collectors will keep buying no matter what.
I was waiting for the worst figure and am glad I got it, it always my favorite from your channel.

Figurarts Dragon Ball line this year has had quite a few disappointments with Super Hero Vegeta, and especially Battle armour Krillin & Kid Gohan.
At least this year we got 2.0 Krillin, 2.0 Ultimate Gohan, and ssj4 Vegeta from what I hear. Hoping next year they don't mess up with 2nd Form Frieza, A19&A20, & Turles.

You're wrong about women not being built like that catwomen. There out there. I dated one. Unbelievable body just had a jacked up mind. Go to Miami and stay at the beach for a weekend, and don't let your wife catch you looking. Or just look up Instagram models.
Also, when women wear heels, it hikes up the butt area, which I'm sure you know. But women built like that are like 4 leaf clovers. RARE, but everyone has seen a few in their lifetime.
I respect your criticism as a reviewer. I prefer to hear both pros and cons than all the apologists defending toy companies when they make poor products.

I actually don't mind Catwoman. Her legs a long but I've definitely known woman that have those proportions. She poses really well too. Definitely not top 10 best but not even close to being one of the 10 worst of the year.
But in figure form? This isn't revol tech. She never looked that anime esque in the game.

Off topic, but I agree with you on "The Batman" being "the best" Batman movie objectively, But personally my nostalgia still makes me put The Dark Knight on top haha. That was my Batman obsession growing up! Also love the intro/outro slides you've been doing, makes me laugh and cringe super hard.

I agree with almost everything, but I think that Wolverine deserves more love from us. It has a lot of accesories and yes, maybe he is a little bit weird in the articulations, but is so fun to pose it.
He is my figure of the year, but I respect his opinion, Ik he doesnt like mezcos and the problems with the wolverine are average mezco stuff

mezco fans everywhere are shaking, turning bright red and have steam shooting out their ears rn lmao. I would have put iron spider on the honorable mentions for the different color of red on the torso, the terrible waldos that are so half assed and cheap and the premium price.

I agree on Titan Joker, really messed it up in some way but was on my list and I'm happy to have it now for my (not complete) McFarlane toys Arkham Games collection
Totally agree with Catwoman being on the list. I wanted to add Arkham Catwoman to my collection, but this was an easy pass with how botched it was. The saddest thing is how pple/reviewers defended this figure- how they hell do you overlook the diaper, the difference in color in the costume, the whack proportions, etc?

Sure the front (AP) view is Horrid w/ the diaper being way to high. Literally giving it A Catty-wompass template. Yes them small shoulders suck & The head's - arguably A bit to small - should of had her goggles down, etcetera etc. I agree w/ ya there.

Nah that mezco Wolverine was worth it at lest to me it was a solid figure for mezco standards and I’m okay with the price for all the stuff it comes with
I love that wolverine. But I still agree with what he said. When I first got it I opened it up and was excited to finally have it but the legs are short and the head is big. With mexico articulation is always limited in my opinion. I know what I'm getting but dude I freakn love this figure. I haven't got tired of posing it around. My favorite wolverine ever made tbh
@@jcam320 yeah same like i know mezco figures tendo to have bigger heads and all that but i love it and how many option parts you get like i cant think of another wolverine figure that lets to go from a first appearance look right to a modern/90s look and that battle damaged head so fucking cool same with the bone claws oh the sentinel base is so well done
@@lolo27234 I love the battle damaged head sculp where you can see the metal. Like I freakn love it. I don't mind the flaws just cuz I really enjoy having the figure. Like you said it has a lot of accessories and different hands and claws. And five or six different head sculpts. It just great over all

can't understand your view on the Mezco wolverine. I'm not even a fan of Mezco generally but I think that figure was a homerun, probably in my top 5 of the year. Agree with much of the list though and always appreciate your honesty/insights.
It's a disproportionate mess. The body shape and head size alone are enough to support it's placement.
I like top 10 lists, even ones that are about the worst, but IMO this was a bit too negative and expressed as fact rather than a RUclipsrs opinion. A few of these seem like pretty decent figures to me.
Facts are facts. Assuming everything is a matter of opinion is a convenient way to ignore the truth. Adding the "RUclipsr" part was a great way to try to invalidate the things I'm saying, though. You might want to try for a position at any of the major news outlets.
I'm surprised by how many figuarts ate in the kist and in the higher pisitions. Bandai have gone down with the quality in order to produce more figures per year. Would you review the new naruto Figuarts? The jujutsu kaisen disappointed me a lot because of the lack of accessories and paint shadding.

Right. They are by far the worst action figures I have ever had my hands. The sculpt and paint is fine, sure but that's it. Their joints might as well be wet noodles. Absolute garbage figures.

Hey, 2022…don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Hey, 2023…if you don’t want the door slammed in your face on the way in, I suggest you start making an effort….on at least try to be a little less obvious. Even the sheep are starting to realize they’re being fleeced.

I can’t stand anything about the X-Men Marvel Legends “cel shaded” line. Everything about that line is tied for the worst figure of the year for me. I don’t know why I expected NECA cartoon quality or line work like the Mondo X-Men line that is outstanding, but almost all of the Hasbro figures look leaps and bounds better when you REMOVE the paint that you’re paying a premium price for.

While I understand your criteria on reviewing figures, I think that you are biased against mezco figures. I have found that they better constructed compared to a lot of the trash that you sing praises about. However to each his own, it is your page and your opinions. Have a good holiday season.
