Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

"I just realized Lydia has the names"
One of the most heartbreaking lines in the show. Mike didn't need to die. Walt just shot him out of pride and anger.
@@lapacesiaconvoi Mike was leaving. He had no reason to stop it. If Walt had just gone to Lydia, Mike probably wouldn't have known, and he wouldn't of stopped it if he did.

In reality, you wouldn't feel the same way for a real life hitman, although a show and a hitman character meant to be liked, not going to lie that mf had bodies on top of bodies. But i get you, he's one of my fav. characters from BB and BCS, plays it so well too
WW was such a bish in this scene. Disgusted me to no end.
Mike tried to kill Walt once.
Walts face as soon as he shot mike truly shows that he immediately regrets what he’s done. That wasn’t anything planned, that was out of rage.
Mike humiliated him and his pride , you can see by the expression on his face, surely that influenced a lot to act like he did
Walt knew he had to kill him just could not leave any loose ends especially after killing his crew in jail
@@marufio no, before he became infuriated, he knew Mike would never talk, and if he stopped to think for 10 seconds he'd figure out how to get the info he wanted without Mike, but at this point in the series Walter had already became impulsive, violent and egocentric. He killed Mike without thinking.
@@user-rg9lf2cr4j his pride was hurt because he knew everything Mike said was true.

Mike's angst in his final episode for Fring's death and the lab's destruction is so much clearer after Better Call Saul.
How so?
@@billblaski9523 Gus was the lesser evil.
@@billblaski9523 mike was heavily involved in the labs creation
@@billblaski9523 We got to see how much time, money, and effort went into the creation of that lab. Not to mention Werner Ziegler died for it at Mike's hand. All that for nothing because of one disgruntled chemistry teacher that Mike specifically warned Saul against working with.
@@ParadigmZwei none of that was even thought of at the time of filming though lol
If this happened when smartphones were a thing, he would’ve never picked up that book
All of this could've been avoided if somebody trashed those books or if they weren't on top of the toilet
Not if you leave your phone on the table like I do all the time.
"Shit, I forgot my phone. Oh well. Guess I'm reading shampoo bottles now."
And yeah, trashing the book would have been the smart thing, but Walt's an egotistical bastard and had to keep it as a trophy. A reminder for himself to say "Haha, I outsmarted Gus and Gale, I'm such a badass." Really, the entire show could have been avoided if Walter wasn't so prideful and narcissistic.
Who even keeps books on a toilet bruh
@@Rockhard1492 To be honest you're right. Even if Walt didnt put the book there he still would have been caught if he continued cooking, but he quit cooking and would have died before Hank would get him

Fans in 2013: Breaking Bad was the best show ever. Perfect Ending
Fans in 2020: We're done when I say were done.
I still think it ended perfectly. No reason to keep milking it any further until it ends up like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead.
@@nathanniesche6380 they've kept it good so far though, el Camino was alright and better call Saul is brilliant.
@@UKEDNHAT7 I just think they need to be careful, there was a point in time where people couldn't imagine Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead NOT being a staple part of everyone's lives, and yet here we are- they're barely even remembered at all anymore.

2:07 the sound effect when Walter walks back over to Mike was so well done, that is the sound of danger. Walter in the earlier seasons didn’t carry that kind of energy with him.
Can't believe Walt killed Mike because he lost the argument lol.
Something I would've done lol
@@Livinghopefulandhonest Sure, a 9 year old definitely would

This is the moment huell became holly
@Ryan Akwar Walt’s condom on the night Holly was conceived is the greatest threat to ABQ
HAHA
Season 5 was depressing, which is a good thing because that’s what the situation became
You can tell when Mike dies, he has the ability to get the jump on Walt but instead decides to watch the sunset by the river, because he knows killing Walt would just do him a favor from this point. He accepts his own fate and decides to savor the last few minutes of his life instead.
I don't think mike could lift his gun to be honest or I think he would have killed Mr White
@@adammuscat2194 a guy like Mike..... I think he could definitely still lift the gun. Getting mortally shot in the gut... catastrophic, yeah..... immediate major fatigue, no doubt.... but Mike was a special breed..... AND Walts gunshot didn't do any structural damage to his arm..... Mike would still have the energy to draw/aim. Maybe he didn't because Walt had his gun on him and Mike would've been shot again, he probably wouldn't have been fast enough to get Walt before he shot him again, ending it immediately..... but the OPs explanation makes perfect sense. Mike killing Walt would've only done him a favor. Mike couldn't have known what would happen to him or Jesse later..... but he DID know for certain that Walt would have to go on dealing with the difficult situation he created for himself. Which was likely a slight consolation. He was savoring the last bit of life he had left, and if he had tried to gun Walt down, he likely wouldn't have had those moments. But he spent it thinking about his grand daughter, his son and daughter in law. Saddened that Walt took away his ability to leave anything for them. But he was content in knowing either way, Walt didn't have much left and was gonna have a highly difficult path from this point on, until the very end.
Plus, he was right, everything was ALL Walts fault. As he said "you jjust HAD to be the man." He had to cause problems for Gus, be stupid..... and thus ruin the gravy train for everyone. It's why Walt was so enraged. It was the truth.
*boyfriend of the account holder commenting.*
I think Mike had lost the will to live anyway. He wouldn't be able to see his family anymore, he would have spent the rest of his life in hiding. He was ready to die, it was sort of a way out for him
@@KingdomKali I'd say saying everything was Walt's fault was Mike's anger speaking. Cuz after all these "faults" of Walt only benefited Walt lol.
@@KingdomKali passou de 2 linhas eu não leio desculpa
Kind of unbelievable that Walt didn't know exactly, how much money he brought Skylar, given his personality.
Yeah he just had the classic masculine personality that we’ve been taught to think is bad. Funny thing is when push comes to shove a lot of them have better morals than all the “inclusive SJWs”
@@Xxrocknrollgod if Walt with an inferiority complex, massive ego, and sensitive pride, is classic masculine attitude? Than masculinity is a bad thing. But that’s not masculinity, that’s the opposite, Walter deep down was a weak man with many insecurities.
@@Xxrocknrollgod You must be the kind of guy who thinks Benny Shabino is peak alpha.
He stopped caring once he was rich for life at that point he was doing it for fun
Rich Pryor false
Imo mike's death was the saddest in the show, not Hank's. It sucks when Hank dies, but he still goes out like a badass. Mike's death was avoidable af if only Walter wasn't such a self-consumed pos.
I agree with you on that, at least with Hank he had accepted his fate, and he had no way out. He at least had achieved his life goal of catching Heisenberg before he died, and he was recognized as a hero by his community. Mike on the other hand didn’t have to die and was just a victim of Walt’s ego. He also probably realized that he wouldn’t get his money to his granddaughter and that Walt would disappear his body.
I can't help but feel that Mike was wrong. He kept blaming Walt for the fallout with Gus, but it started with Gus's dealers that killed Combo. Walt killed those dealers for Jesse. Walt's loyalty to Jesse caused the downfall with Fring.
@@nsinurater2000 true but the trouble is Walt was so consumed and hated the idea of his empire falling so much that he couldn’t think rationally hence why he realizes he can get the names from Lydia only after he shot mike
It's sort of poetic justice. Mike killed Werner, but Heisenberg killed Mike. Mike deserved it for the shit he's done.

when hank says walter white you can see a seriousness in his eyes almost as if he seriously considered the possibility for a split second.
Walter may be a genius, but his maturity level is that of a 10 year old's.
thats what makes him dangerous
He bottled it up for so long and he finally gets away with letting it out (and he admits later that he liked it) he was simply on a powertrip
2:00 Bryan's acting is so good, without saying a word you can see that he killed Mike out of pure blinding rage, and then instantly had some form of regret.

This isn’t really funny.
Breaking Bad was one of those things in life that changes someone. I have not watched a TV show for truly over 5 years or more, but when I tried watching the first episode of this show, I was hooked.
Something "special" about this show. I think from the story itself, to all of the actors made it epic.
Now I realize how vital each component collaborates their talent to make the story feel immersive with soul. I hope that makes sense. Cheers!
Try watching the sopranos, this and sopranos are the 2 greatest EVER tv shows
Very true i remember finding BB on Netflix and thinking I'd watch an episode or two and give it a shot. Well by the time I found it I think seasons 1-4 were already on there, and I watched every bit of it in a matter of a few weeks. Every time I turned the tv on it was this show. Still my favorite show of all time, if it ever gets beaten, I cant wait to watch whatever that show is. But for now, nothing has come close for me
I can't watch Mike die. Depresses me. Watched it once when it aired and that is enough.
Mikes instincts was to kill Walter almost from the start..he gave so many warnings and went against his instincts many times..i think he pulled a gun on Walter 4 times but something always happened so he didnt shoot him
He picked a half measure, when he should have gone all the way
Even wayy before, when Jimmy hired Mike to vet Walt, Mike even warned Jimmy, 'Don't get involved with him, he's an amateur, its not worth'....only if Jimmy just listened
@@alierk542 This literally went against his own rules again and this time it was HIM who got killed not the girl

Walt telling Mike that he could get the names from Lydia is one of the worst possible things he could say. Not only did Mike not have to die, but he died knowing that his guys would be murdered by Heisenberg
Mike was in the game. He knew what was on the table.
Heisenberg said to him in his final moments: "Oh wow, you're just a finger, Mike. But I am the Hand", and started to Hand all over our finger.
Honestly the stack of money scene just goes to show how much money the Joker had in The Dark Knight

A...actually it is. it's a crucial one.
I always find the prison scene so horrifying.
It feels so realistic
GOD I MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!! And you know I still believe there is more story to tell within this universe. Even after Better Call Saul ends.
The entire cartel, Salamanca, bolsa, don eladio and especially gus and his background with chile has so much potential
Max Krampe nah, I feel like they’d just be milking it at that point lol
I would love to see a tv show about young Mike and his time as a cop or a show about how Gus got started, like before the meeting with don
@@nicolaskimcoppola1087 I feel like a show starring Gus would totally be possible. Like him starting as a young guy dealing drugs on the streets, and his path to being a kingpin. They could definitely do that, but I know it'll never happen
@@dustinclouse6888 Agreed! They'd be able to recast and get around the age issue. Plus Gus is so mysterious the way they've weaved in the tidbits

Today marks the 7th year of the season finale 🔥🔥
My all time favorite show... simply a masterpiece...
That prison scene was just so epic, fuck that was amazing
Brutal as fuck
A BLOODY season, literally and figuratively
You know, during the first few seasons, I really didn't like Skylar...but, as the seasons began to progress, I begrudgingly really began to sympathize with her...please tell me I'm not the only one!
Watche for three times still i don like her, walt should just ditch the bitch.
She was made to be dislikeable by design, as the main protagonist of the show is the _bad_ guy, so she becomes an antagonist by virtue of her being a straight arrow.
@@ParadigmZwei Agreed, I honestly liked how the show took a big turn from the good guy becoming the bad guy, a loving father who only did the drug business to try and give his family all they need when he dies from his cancer, to a psychopath
i refuse to believe walter wouldve left out the book gale gave him especially after TALKING TO HANK ABOUT WALT WHITMAN
Walt wouldn’t have. But a careless Heisenberg would
the scene where Skylar shows Walt the money is so sad. At that point it wasn't about the cash, it was about Walt's ego and the need to be on top. I love Anna Gunn's acting in it, she conveys Skylar desperation so well
I know every character from this show had a sad ending, Jesse found redemption in El Camino, and hopefully Saul Goodman will find his in the last better call Saul season
:)
Finally. I have been waitng for this upload for so long. Glad its finally up.
Aw man, Mike didn't deserve to end his life like that. And even worse is all the money he worked for, not a single cent was able to reach his family.

Sorry about that, maybe 3 & a half days to be exact lol only takes 62 hours
Aren't you fucking slleping?
I keep watching this series. Its truly amazing.
3:54 It only occured to me know, but: Did Walt fashion his looks after Mike? In this moment they look so much alike, just all the trouble lumped into one, and all the peace settled on the other.
Walt ended up becoming his own worst enemy
Greatest show ever watched in my life
@Ryan Akwar i'll be watching it, thanks
1:45 look closely at heisenberg's mouth!!! That's insane ... great acting!!
Bbreaking Bad still in my head !
Ah yes, the most crucial moment of the entire show - Hank taking a dump.
Been waiting for this for a while
Watching that Mike scene again and man I miss him and this show
Skyler broke bad too, she willingly laundered the money, didn’t cooperate with Hank, she practically ordered the killing of Jesse when talking to Walt in the hotel room too.
I love the prison scene how every prisoner knows to get out and everyone just exits
unpopular opinion: Skyler isn't that bad
I understand that people don't like her in the earlier seasons because of the way she acts at times but I would say everything she does is understandable in her situation. In the later seasons, I'd go so far as to say I really like her character; to the extent where I think there are times she's smarter than Walter.
I agree mostly. Walt has definitely the higher IQ, but his narcissism stood in his way, so she seemed way smarter in some situations where Walt was all about ego.
I've never understood why they hate Skyler. She is a victim of the circumstances and Walter was an asshole in the first place. He put his pride first without even considering what the family would think.
@Furio I'll admit, at the beginning of the series, she was the dominating force in her and Walt's relationship. She wasn't particularly mindful of Walt's feeling but I wouldn't say that makes her abrasive. I'd actually say that's the perfect word to describe Marie in the earlier seasons.
Skyler is intentionally portrayed unsympathetically by the show for you to hate her. She was definitely domineering, but Walt was never a good person - he was just passive.
@@Nelafix I understand intentionally unlikable but there are some people with a genuine disdain for her which even runs over into a disdain for Anna Gunn which is awful.
1:41 I love the disgust on Mike's face as he says that lol

Mike is wrong when he says that they'd all be fine had Walt not killed Gus Fring. Gus only hired Walt to learn his cooking process and he planned on killing him the day he hired him.
Thats false it wasn't his og plan
@@alancaddie8138 It wasn't his original plan until Gus knew that Walt had Jesse with him and he stopped trusting Walt's judgement immediately. There was never a time when Walt could have just walked away after that.
