- Now that they've launched their drug business, there's no turning back for Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and his young partner Jesse (Aaron Paul). I watched the whole series with my wife ans she loved it.
Well she didn't stick around with the scene where two planes crashed into each other killing 167 people that's was in the season two finale.
Hank's character is in my opinion, probably one of the most realistic interpretations of what an actual human being could be like, in the entire series. He is a strong, stubborn person with a good sense of humor, dedicated to hard work and his family, but what I find to be his most admirable trait, is that even in the face of danger, he still acts. Even though he is scared to death, he still continues forward. That is one of the most admirable qualities in any person; to be able to act in spite of fear. Dean Norris did an absolutely amazing job portraying Hank with both fear and determination at the same time. Brilliant acting.

I love how a simple car scene between father and son, which SHOULD’VE been boring and lame, turns into an incredible conversation with brilliant writing. What a show.

To be fair, jesse had certainly fucked up more than he had helped at this point. He got Krazy-8 and Emilio on their tail, which forced Walt's hand to kill them. Then Jesse got his ass handed to him by Tuco, which Walt also then had to fix.

At 2:41, Walter went way too far on pinkman. It seems like he's taking his marriage tensions out on him and the last time I checked. Walter came to Jesse for his distribution needs so he should have realized that Jesse had some reliability issues.

3:00 one of the best scene of the whole series. They can fight each other, but they wont kill each other.
Walt sure as hell tried to the only reason it didn't happen was Jack taking advantage of holding all the cards at the end of the shootout and deciding he could have the money and the cool and Walt has no recourse to stop him.

Season Two is where the joking ended...and things got dark really quick...then worse.. but in the end. Jesse is now in Alaska.. hopefully with his own woodshop, living as a quiet man probably keeping to himself.

He thinks that just because he is intelligent and has an advanced degree, he’s better than others. While it’s true he is over qualified for his two mediocre jobs, is misunderstood in his own time, had his hard work make billions while he got nothing (yes he walked away, but still), he unfortunately still saw Jesse as the lazy, foolish slacker high school student that goofed off in, skipped, or fell asleep in his class.
I agree with you, though. Jesse, like Walt/Heisenberg, evolved dramatically over the series and eventually was recognized for it, and not just by Walt.
