Brought me to tears. With all they had been through leading up to this, hank still had faith in Walt. He wasn't as angry with Walt for being a drug dealer. He knew they needed money. He was angry at him for choosing the one stupid path that would separate them in terms of morals.
Walt was too smart to be doing something so dumb. Hank seen more in Walt than he did in himself.

When Walt pleaded with Hank to reason with Jack, it prompted the line “he already made up his mind 10 minutes ago” (he already came in knowing he wasn’t going to reason)

the entire 'crawl space' sequence is in a league of its own.. the anticipation of how it begins, the exasperation of not finding the money, and the desperation from finding out where it went - all brilliantly underlined by tense music, Walt's hysterical laugh, and the phone ringing. The perfect example of 'when it rains, it pours'.. Just beautiful.
I would love to know how Bryan Cranston got into the head space to act out that scene in particular. It's so tense. We're watching a man snap and have a mental breakdown right in front of us. That laughter is haunting. And hearing him laugh while the phone is ringing, Marie is crying, and watching Skylar slowly walk to the kitchen to answer the phone just creates so much thickness in the air of that scene. Just incredible.

In my opinion, the greatest show ever written and acted. Incredible from start to finish. And I still contest that Ozymandias is the best episode of television of all time. The drama, shock, and pure gut wrenching pain in that episode bleeds through the screen. Just a beautiful show.

Interesting fact. Bryan Cranston said the Jane scene was the hardest scene he ever had to film in his entire acting career. Everytime he looked at the girl choking, he saw his daughter's face. He was so shook up that he had to take a break from shooting for a few weeks

He did say in an interview he pictured his daughter then as inspiration for the emotion, but as far as taking a break from acting, the show is on a strict schedule and doesn't allow for week long breaks for actors to get over a scene
Best show or movie ever made. Better Call Saul is right there with it. The greatest fictional universe ever created.
I’ll always love that crawl space scene. I think Cranston has the best acting I have ever seen right there. The manic yelling, the laughing maniacal laughing. This show will leave you speechless in shock. On the other hand, better call Saul will leave you speechless with introspection.
If I ever get to meet Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul, I would say "Hello, Mr. White" and/or "Hello, Jesse".

That scene of Walt in the basement is elite level acting. The amount of rage and fury to the point where you wanna cry but you just break out into hysterical psychotic laughter…I’ve been there.

If I remember correctly... Gus kidnapped Walter in the desert and threatened him and his family. Then he needs to find enough money for Saul's business partner to escape Albuquerque. But...

AARON PAUL WAS EXCELLENT IN THIS SHOW.
I wondered if anyone would talk about that. He has some of the most intense scenes. I never have been affected by acting but he gave me goosebumps a few times

I liked Walt as a character, but Aaron Paul's acting of Jesse was just on a high level in terms of the dramatism.
An authentic depiction of an actually good guy who took some wrong paths in his life. You could really feel sorry for him.

My favorite scene from the show had my favorite Walt line in it- "If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly.” Just chef’s kiss 👌🏻
One of my favourite moments is Mike's "No more half measures, Walter" scene. Such amazing writing and acting in Breaking Bad.
The scene at 11:35 is absolute pure comedy to me. The way Walt looks at Jesse when Saul says "So the prison shanking is completely off the table?" Then Jesse says "NO SHANKING!" And the way Walt grumbles like an Old Man at that part cracks me the hell up man. 😂😂😂
lol so good, and showcases how early Walt was willing to take it to that level. Everyone says Walt became Heisenberg, but he was always there. Walt just became more emboldened throughout the series to the point he was able to embrace what he’d always been.

The greatest show to ever be seen. Nothing compares to breaking bad. I’ve seen every episode more than 5 times a piece. It never gets old, even when you know what’s going to happen. Brilliant acting and writing.
Have you seen the movie El Camino that finishes the story of how Jesse escaped and got away to Alaska just like he promised Mike. Insane.
Dude, if you love breaking bad, try watching the Sopranos. Seriously, I thought bb and bcs were the best things I had ever seen. They're still up there though

I feel like not enough people are talking about how effective the tortoise bomb scene is. It's pretty replayed and recognized, but I think it should be more recognized, just because it does a great job of being really effective. It's so explicitly freaky, and I'm so impressed by how well it gets the viewer to understand Hank's trauma. Weirdly enough, it's probably the most relatable scene in the show for me because of how well it gives the nauseating feeling you get when you see something so strange and scary. You can't stop thinking about it, and you want to forget about it. Lots of people have experienced things like that, and I'm glad to see something that portrays that concept so well.

For me that scene showed that Walter really embraced his Heisenberg persona. This all thing is more than money making for him.
I watched 20-24 hours of this from episode 1 over a weekend, it’s that end scene plus music that keeps you hooked, it’s such a cleverly written series, a work of art

Pretty impressive to stay strong throughout every season. Most series fall off past the 1st or 2nd season. Hats off to them writers, especially since they came with the other gem, BCS and delievered good content once again.

I love how walt tries to put out a raging fire with his shirt lol. It just shows you how very smart people often struggle with common sense simple tasks. It reminds me of my best friend who is very intelligent, but makes simple mistakes all the time.
All of jesses and Walt’s scenes where they were getting along with each other is iconic. Especially bc how the show ends

The fact that almost every moment makes almost the same time of a breaking bad episode is impressive
So many iconic moments although many are missing here.
First time ever, the 44 minute long video made me feel just 4 mins passed. No wonder Breaking Bad is a freaking best series of all time, of this 21st century so far.

He has an audiobook where he discussed that scene. It got to him because he pictured his own daughter.
That aspiration scene is so damn raw. For me personally nothing drove home the horrific level of psychological change that Walt had gone through quite like that one. It felt like a gut punch the first time, and I guess it still does.

Those back to back Jesse scenes with Walt in the hospital and then shooting Gale were a brutal sequence..
Jesse has these perfect moments of clarity, like in the middle of the hospital bed scene. And then his trauma leads him back down the spiraled path..such a beautifully tortured character
This video isn't complete without Gales music video.
This is a cinematic wonder. I canot compare any other show or serial to this. Those who say GOT is better don't understand the depth that this series presents. Simply irreplaceable.

In my opinion, there will NEVER be another show like this ever again. Best show ever created, hands down. The acting is the best I've ever seen out of any TV show, movie, anything. Every actor brought it 110% in every single episode and it only got better as it went. And they managed to end the show in the perfect way as well.
I’m with you Lass breaking bad is certainly one of the best shows ever created (top ten hands down) but best show ever title belongs to the wire check it out

I read about the pizza on the roof scene, Walt was supposed to throw it but it will landed so perfectly they kept it in..in just that one take 😂

How do you not put the scene when Jessie was about to kill the 2 drug dealers and Walter pulls up in his Pontiac Aztek runs the dudes over get out the car kicks the gun away from the drug dealer on the floor and Walter picks up the pistol and puts one in the head and just looks up at Jessie and says "RUN" that scene goes so hard!
Yeah that was amazing. Thats when walt truly started to create a empire of his own and learned the street code.
