Top Moments Of Season 4 (Part 2) | COMPILATION | Breaking Bad

- Опубликовано: 22 июл 2019
- In last season's shocking and gripping finale, Jesse (Paul) was on the run, with Mike (Jonathan Banks) in hot pursuit, while Walt negotiated for his life with Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). In a desperate attempt to escape certain death, Walt concocted a disturbing plan - kill his former lab assistant Gale - to provide for his and Jesse's safety. The scheme ultimately forced Jesse to Gale's doorstep with a gun while Walt was held hostage in the Superlab. This season, Walt and Jesse must cope with the fallout both personally and professionally. As well, tension mounts as Walt faces a true standoff with his employer, Gus, with neither side willing or able to back down. Walt must also adjust to a new relationship with Skyler (Anna Gunn), whom while still reconciling her relationship with Walt, is committed to properly laundering Walt's money and ensuring her sister Marie (Betsy Brandt) and an ailing Hank (Dean Norris) are financially stable.

I love how they didn’t do the cliche not looking back on the explosion scene and instead tried to do something different and even cooler
There's one scene back in season one where Walt blew up Kent car.
@@abramsullivan7764 Yeah and when the cousins blew up that truck. They've done the "not looking back at the explosion" thing a couple times.
TheMatrix1101 They already did it with the twins.

what are these comments on about? the line is "a business so big it could be listed on the Nasdaq". Saying a business is bigger than Nasdaq doesn't make any sense
Jungmin Lee usually when a company gets so large it floats on a stock exchange to get further investment. Obviously a drug empire could theoretically do this, point in case Los Pollos Hermanos being ‘helped’ with cash through madrigal, who really we’re just giving them methylamine
@@charliestrong1690 i'm not questioning the concept, it was a correction to the previous erroneous phrasing 'a business bigger than the NASDAQ'
@@jmaj4521 You're misinterpreting what he said, he said it can be listed on the nasdaq. It's just a sly way of saying that if his business was on the stock market it would be in the realm of Apple and Microsoft. He wasn't saying that he was bigger than the nasdaq just that if it wasn't meth his business would be on it.
After you watch better call Saul everything Walt does becomes so much crazier
I'm just impressed in how he managed to kill/ruin the life of so many tough people lol.
This scene was a pivotal moment for Skylar. She REALLY became scared of Walt and didn’t want anything to do with him
“If you want out just say you want out”
~Walt to Skylar.
Before:
*Walt gives Skylar signed divorce papers
*Skylar refuses to hand them in
She definitely could’ve left. It’s why Walt said things on the call that weren’t true at all, to make it look like she was a hostage. The truth is that she’d go to jail because she had a choice, ask any judge.

Hank is a badass fighter, but he's also a great detective.

@@imcallingjapan2178 that’s because walter white wasn’t a villain
@@big_2361 Yes he was, he was a villain protagonist.
It's crazy to think that he got this narcissistic and violent in the first scene because he dispatched Jesse to kill Gail without knowing whether he would or wouldn't.
It makes you wonder how twisted and evil he could have become if he had risen to the top of a organization with hundreds of people like Gus did
I loved it when Skyler was sort of becoming an accomplice for a while. I wish she stuck with it. They would have been badass together.
They would have stayed accomplices if it wasn't for Walt's ego and thirst for more. If he swallowed his pride and kept his mouth shut when Hank concluded that Gale was the cook he wouldn't have been found out. It was Skyler who devised the cover up. She was planning to make the best out of the worst situation and accept her new life as the companion and money launderer of a drug dealer. It was Walt's dream for the first 3 seasons, to get her on his side. But Heisenberg was always in a one seated, one way ride to destruction.

walt's the boss jesses the henchmen so indirectly walt's the one who knocks
Pratik Mahapatra, thank you for that obvious analysis
"I am the danger" he says.
Kinda hard to sound tough with all the times he's begged for his life. Honestly, if the bosses didnt let Walt have a chance to speak, they would have happily run their businesses without dying.
you dont become the boss by not letting people talk. negotiation is the biggest part of the drug trade, walt is constantly the smartest guy in the room. he IS the one who knocks. if it werent for him Gale would be alive, jane would be alive, the plane wouldnt have crashed. all things done out of pure ego and pride more than survivability, as you can see with his switch when he tells mike Gale's address
Gus and his partner also begged tje Cartel for their lives.
Walt begged Mike for his life as a tactic to get where he wanted, not exactly genuine.
Even when he begged Gus for his life in the box cutter scene, he knew he had some leverage. Later in the story, specifically in the desert when Gus fired him, he dropped the act and openly defied him

I honestly forgot that Walter gave Skyler and opportunity to get out and not launder his money. I’m shocked she didn’t take the opportunity despite saying outwardly she didn’t have a choice in the matter.
She tried to tap out multiple times before.
It is common in abusive or manipulative relationships for the abuser to give you 'an out' once you got tired of begging, and you don't accept. Why? Idk, maybe Stockholm syndrome or believing it's too good to be true or having already rationalize enough to feel comfortable where you are.
But the abuser uses this later to manipulate you further into thinking you chose to be here & that they never even suggested you take part.
@@commanderwaddles3483 Are you dumb. Walt didn’t force Skyler into the business in the first place. You clearly watched a totally different show

Each time I see the first scene the song Knock Knock by Angerfist starts to play

In this scene Walter gave Skyler the choice of backing out. How does she respond? By continuing to stock money inside of the safe. From that point on she is just as guilty as and not at all a victim of Walter or his criminal activity. Walter gave her a choice and she chose to continue laundering his money. At that point Skyler was no longer a victim.
