Since you where talking on your podcast tonight about how you try to keep your channel more possative and happy I wanted to share this with you. I began taking care of my father almost 7 yrs ago. It was a 24 hr 7 day a week with most days going on 3 to 4 1/2 hrs sleep. He was a diabetetic, heart and kidney patient, double amputee, with a colostomy bag , and at one point had a feeding tube. He passed away July 30, 2021 and i fell into a deep deep depression. Still working on that but getting better. It was right around the time he passed away that I found your channel. I can't even tell you how much i love your channel. You make me smile, and laugh and I just look so forward to every one of your video's. I love your family. I love your animals. I love watching the progression of how your farm and home is all coming together. And I'm learning so much . Just wanted you to know I appreciate the time you all take in providing these video's. God bless

Hello Jason. I'm a plumber and have been for several decades. Run your 2" drain for the clawfoot to your best measurement for it's location and cap it. Then build a 14" box out of 1x4 and steak it in position over the capped end of the drain. When you set the tub you can dig out the box and fill dirt and hook up your trap in the exact location you need it for your tub. Then backfill the hole and finish it with quickcrete. This is by far the easiest and best way to hook up a clawfoot drain.

The waffle pattern creates good insulation by creating a series of static air pockets. Air trapped eliminates thermal loss identical to how birds under outer feathers and fur coated animals under thick fur trap air allowing them to live in very cold conditions, insulated from cold and wind.

When we built our house in 2005, we got a huge Koehler farm sink that I loved. Burnished bronze faucet and handles from Lowe’s looked great with it. The faucet came up high and curved in an arc. Looked really good. The sink had a decorative front.

I did not know what to expect when I started the season of my life that you seem to be entering Brooke. I had night sweats and day sweats and had no idea what was causing it since I was in my early forties and did not expect the change to happen for many more years. My moment came when I was sitting on my couch watching tv. My husband walked by and said something to me and I thought "I can't stand that man". My son walked through and said something and I thought "I really don't like him". My dog laid down next to me and I said out loud " I don't like you either", then I burst into tears and made an appointment with the doctor to be seen as soon as possible. I thought I was losing my mind. Thank the Lord that my husband had the patience of Job to endure my mood swings early on and with the help of my doctor I was able to get mood swings under control. The hot flashes were a little harder to control but then one day I realized that things had become more normal again. Hang in there, it is going to take awhile to get through it but know that it isn't forever.

Hi Brooke - my husband is trying to make his beloved coffee a bit more healthy and he is doing it by using Monk Fruit for his sweetener. He uses organic cream also, along with organic coffee - because he said that coffee is one of the heaviest chemically sprayed crops in the world. I love him and am happy to spend the extra money to have him keep his health. We decided the money spent on healthy coffee was better spent than buying drugs to deal with health issues. What do you think? Love you three. Prayers for you from Tennessee.

Hi Raenell Cloyd. Do you watch Nomadic Movement? Young couple that bought a coffee farm/plantation in Panama. If I had any questions about organic coffee, that is exactly who I would ask about it Matter of fact just last week or two ago they visited an organic farm and were explaining how so much of the organic coffee sold as organic is not organic. This guy loves his coffee. He drinks, eats, and sleeps coffee. It is amazing to watch them develop the farm itself too. Give them a try. In one year they have developed, built, and had a baby to boot. They are already selling coffee too, and will tell you all about what you are buying. They are good people like Jason, Brooke, and Marycarl.

Try putting cinnamon in your coffee. I used to not be able to do coffee without a good bit of milk or almond milk (I never used sugar or any sweetener). I started putting cinnamon in it because it is good for you and regulates your blood sugar and I find it cuts the bitterness. One day I was out of all milk and I tried it black. I found I really like it black as long as I have the cinnamon in it.

Hey guys. Here's some advice on the water hoses. First thing, get some heat tape( sold at Lowes/home Depot) run it along the hose . We used electrical tape a few feet to keep it in place. Then wrap the whole thing with foam pipe insulation, also tape it every few feet. We had temps down to 15 and never froze. Also at night open cabinet doors under sinks to let heat into cabinet. The last thing you want is your camper pipes freezing inside the walls. In extreme cold( you guys probably won't need) you can put skirting around bottom of camper. I've seen people use everything from hay bales to foam board.

Best thinks come to those who wait, so once it starts up again it will be really fast. As far as the pipes freezing they make heat strips for them. I have them on my pipes in my house. It was minus 25 here the other day. Love and prayers always have a blessed night ❤️❤️🙏🙏

I love listening to your videos and podcasts! You are so upbeat and refreshing! Never have to worry about foul language, saying God's name in vain, or anything questionable or offensive. I look forward to your videos. I am so excited for your barnaminium, pond, etc. Listening and watchingbyour interactions with your animals is so entertaining. This was a great podcast. I just enjoy you 2 talking about what is going on. When I was going to build my house about 35 yrs ago, I had hired a general contractor to handle everything. 2 weeks before he was to get started, he passed away. I was so sorry for his family as he was only in his 50's. So I had to start from scratch & hire everybody..The house sight was in the woods & outside a small town. I didn't think it would ever get done. Things happen for a reason, & it is God's plan what happens. I'm praying you all get a good plumber or that Jason & your builder can get the plumbing completed.

Daniel Arms bought a 6 foot harrow from tractor supply and did a video of it really recently for the same reason. One of his most recent videos is about it. The tines on it are important because it will break the surface and allow nutrients to enter the ground. When we planted rice when worked on a farm, we used a viber shank set shallow with harrows behind it to cover seed.

I can really relate with hvnschoir. I was helping to take care of my mother who has Alzheimers. We are very fortunate that my father is able to keep her at home with around the clock care. I got hurt at work and ended up on disability. The only time I am able to leave the house is to go to the doctors and when I can to see my parents. Then in December I had a heart attack and was put on 6 weeks restrictions. When I went through chemo I was out of work for 11 weeks. I was so excited to get back to some what normal then just a few months went by when all of the above happened. Its so frustrating and depressing. But then I came across Cog Hill Farm and it completely changed things. I look so forward to you videos! I learn and I laugh, truly enjoy every minute and always wish it was longer. Thank you Jason, Brooke and Mary Carl for bringing so much joy to my life!!!

Lester at ISS uses an actual Harrow (sp) I believe someone gifted them awhile back. They are a little different then chain link fence, have like spikes on one side , but do look like a fence! Chickens still go through all of it! ❤🤗
