For whatever reason, this oldie popped up in my feed today & I’m so glad it did.! I usually use my book guts just for a glue book to put glue on pieces for my journals. Then I tear them off & use for tags, journal cards etc later but there are way to many to use up so I often just toss in the trash. Thanks to this video, I will now stop a minute & keep the things handy to make a book page paper. Such a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Waste not, want not.
When I was little (in the 60’s) my mom always had an old book (she would refer to it as “the Scrapbook). On rainy days she would get out “The scrapbook” and we would Scrapbook all day. My favorite was cutting out pictures from “The Sears Christmas Catalog”. Watching you “collage” makes me remember 🥰. Mom would have so much fun doing this, I am grabbing my granddaughter to Collage and Scrapbook with me. ThankYou for the tips❣️
This looks so much fun! Don’t forget to put the lid on your black soot 😮. Have a fun and creative day. Hello Sunny. Give Mama some room so she create with wild abandon 🫶
Ok, my absolute FAVORITE was the pulling a little bit of the napkin here and there to peek at the words. Welllll…..Sunny was my verrrry favorite, then the napkin. Thanks for sharing your gift,
When the napkin wont let go and you are telling it to “just give me a piece of yourself”….every time I laugh and laugh…..Thank you for the fun. You have taught me to be reckless and enjoy the process….it’s only paper.
Omgosh..i love the napkin idea i went a running to the craft room .its easy and so beautiful..thank you so much for the amazing videos. I watch you ALOT ......I just started to do JJ .and you have taught me so many things.. wonderful things..again thank you ..hugs from Ohio...
im always late to the party i stenciled a bunch of pages with you ,i just watched natasha from treasure books she and you and luise hienzel make me so happy ,thank you and sunny always makes me happy
Holy falafel! When you just said ,"Snacks!" to get Sunny to turn his head, I lost it. Always great to watch your videos. I always learn something, but mostly, I enjoy listening to you. It feels like crafting ans laughing with a friend. Thanks for all your content.
Good morning sweet gal. Love the video. I have missed watching you. Been a lot of sadness this year. My two 17 year old teddy bear dogs passed on. And my 10 year old boy teddy bear pup died. My canary died and one cat passed on. Then to make matters doubly bad my niece passed away from pancreatic cancer. Watching you just makes me smile. Big hugs. ❤️❤️❤️
Pam I sure appreciate a sonny appearance , both my dogs are gone now and it brings a smile when I see Sonny… I will always have my fur babies in my heart … hugs from Canada ❤️❤️❤️
I love the snoring! I went on vacation with my parents when I was a teenager. My mom and the dog(also Maltese) went to sleep and my dad and I stayed up. They began a snoring battle for who could snore loudest! Lol
I am someone who misreads things all the time, enjoyably so. I read you ‘unicorns are real’ bit of paper as ‘librarians are real’. I just thought I would share that random thought.
When I make Hidden Paper clips like these, I will put a jump ring into the clip before I glue it in the paper. Then, from the jump ring I will make a dangle of beads (or yarn or ribbon). I love this idea of using up the pages like this. I also use Mod Podge to glue the napkins to the paper.
Long-time lurker here! HI 🙋♀🙋♀ Just had to say how inspiring this video is! I love your personality and the voices and pretty much everything about you!!
Pam. when you put the pattern paper on the first page (lovely!) you were right - one couldn't sand the excess off, because the page was too thin. But, if you sand it before you tear the page off, the block of pages would allow you to sand. I much prefer sanding to scissor cutting.
Love this video. I have a ton of magazines, that I want to use up. So after I take out the pictures that I want to use, I take scraps of paper and glue them to the whole pages that are left. So when I need a collage page I just tear out a page from the magazine… ready made for pockets, paper clips, or glue paper to the back for journal cards etc. I love all of your videos. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
The waxes are by Prima, the Finnabaire line. They do a lot of 3D embellishments that the waxes work awesome on, especially after they've been painted. I love the way you have used them as part of your background papers.
Reckless Abandon and it's fun... experiment...just go for it! The little square one's with fancy edging could be used as pages for the mini-tiny journals. Shhh! Sonny is sleeping 😴! His snoring didn't bother me🐕😍 Great ideas👍
A while back, I bought a bunch of your digitals! I was especially intrigued by the music sheet with your father‘s handwriting. And I bought the T-shirt in gold that says, everything is a craft supply … until proven otherwise!
I have a box that's just the right size for my normal junk Journal size. And I make Pages ahead and put them in there so they're ready when I start to make a journal I have some pages already created. I think this idea would be great for that. By saving the whole page. But it's also a good idea for pockets and tags and such. Thank you for your ingenuity
I love watching you and Sunshine. I got a ton of stamps for $1.99. Glad for that idea. Im working on a starting stash and hope to use your ideas not just to try making a junk journal but use in scrapbooking.
I like it that you mention adding teeny tiny pieces. When I print digitals, I always print something usable on the back, specifically so that I have something usable at hand after cutting things out. When I use a punch, or stamp/mark shapes to fussy cut with scissors, I punch and cut as close together as possible, which leaves very pretty little lacy pieces and strips, which come in very handy even if I glue a few of them end to end, or to form a shape to create a frame.
Just found this channel randomly. Love the videos. So beautiful, stress free, and inspirational. Look forward to pulling all the momentos, scraps, and art together to make a book. Didnt realize I could do something pretty with it all. I'm so happy to have found like-minded people 🙂

Patricia, I am so sorry for all the loss you've endured this year. I almost never comment on other people's comments in videos, but I felt the need to let you know that I'll be thinking of you and I wish you so much healing and love. Take care of yourself extra much 💙
My dog can snore loudly too! Lol it's quite comical at times. ❤️ Seeing sunny! But would like to see Holly more 😊 thanks for being so down to earth! And funny! 😂
Hi Pam. I LOVE these ideas for using book pages. I have a ton of books that need to be used. I found a huge bin of sewing patterns at a local thrift store for $2.00!!! Yesterday's stenciling page by page was really awesome. Today is another fantastic idea! 💖
I went over a background like this with both pains and it looks like a golden bamboo curtain and I put dark house of bamboo trees over it and it turned out gorgeous I mean gorgeous I can still hardly believe how beautiful it is in fact I might put a picture of it on my wall so that people can see it my phone's not working so good so I'll try it maybe you can feed that it
I like to make “covered” pages and then flip them over when I cut them up so I can’t see and/or pre plan the outcome. Seems to come out better than planning . Lol
I'm thinking of boring practicle things to use these clips with. My hubby does all the paperwork and it gets in such a mess so i was thinking if i get some of those very large clips that he uses , I could make up one each for gas, lecky, car, bank etc. I think he would use them too, he does love a paperclip. thenkyou for sharing .
I appreciate this video so much!!! 😁😁 As you went I would pause and work alongside you. And how beautiful did my paper backgrounds turn out? Fantastic!!!!! Such a great idea. Much better than I expected.😮 Thank you to you ❤ and the wonderful person who shared this with you ❤ on what to do with extra book pages. And you make me laugh 😅😂 And i have no words for your little boy...so cute 💜💜 All around, a lovely morning for me. 🩷🩷🩷
Sunshine you are right!!!! it is HOT in FL! This northern girl (we are on holiday from Vermont) isn't used to this moist heat! I am excited to visit my very first ever Hobby Lobby tomorrow in Ocala!!! Seriously sunny... any suggestions on staying cool??
Thank you Pam! So glad I found your channel. I’m new to junk journals and appreciate that you show what to do with the creations that we make together ❤
Good morning everyone! Love all of your videos Pam. Thank you for teaching me how to use my scraps. I am a newbie in the junk journal world. You make it so fun. Thank you ❤
Just a thought....how about making our own paste wax by mixing a bit of coconut oil or shae butter, etc with old powdered eye shadows and adding a drop or 2 of essentialoil or vanilla, etc? The glittery eye shadows would give that lovely shimmer.
Great idea! I have lots of mica powder eyeshadow that I got from the Dollar Tree back when I was making my own mica sprays. I use them to colour texture paste and gesso but I never thought of wax.
Oh. My. Goodness. Sunshine is so pretty, and when you said "snacks," she looked right at the camera.
Love Sunny's snoring!
Ohh goodness Sunny is so cute!!! I love his little face!

I'm an artist as well. I work with acrylics. I gotta say I love your scattered gibberish as you work. This is 200% how s artist brain works. ❤❤❤😂😂😂

You’re a wonderful video today, my dear friend
On your Unicorns are real page, I could see a dried leaf stuck to it. Very nice way to use up scraps.
I truly enjoy your upbeat, comical conversation while you craft for us and teach us many fun tips, tricks, and ideas.
Long-time lurker here! HI 🙋♀🙋♀ Just had to say how inspiring this video is! I love your personality and the voices and pretty much everything about you!!
Thanks for this idea with book guts. I have been keeping mine, made a few envelopes etc., and now you give me this awesome idea. 👌

Love the waxes on paper! I use them for altering bottles & cigar boxes but never thought to use them on paper!!!
Hi, Trina. Cigar boxes.... Where do you find them. Retail, new? Thrift stores? I like them for holding supplies, but never see them anywhere. 💕
Another hobby I have is basket weaving and I want to try a paper weave embellishment with scrap strips.
Creating masterboards on book pages ... genius! Thxs Pam 💝
My dog can snore loudly too! Lol it's quite comical at times. ❤️ Seeing sunny! But would like to see Holly more 😊 thanks for being so down to earth! And funny! 😂
I don’t think she has mentioned Holly lately, I hope he’s OK!
Well thx for the video. I just spent a delightful time with you, my gluestick and paper. Lots of fun.
Cera is wax. Love your channel.
Love this idea , tfs Pam
Don’t forget to sharpen your scissors and anything that cuts use sandpaper. Also when sewing paper use a Levi needle. That will sew thick paper .
I really like the one with the pattern piece on it and and love the one with the napkin. Awesome ideas!
