I noticed that when you took a picture of the drain that Magpie was in the picture. My understanding was that Magpie was the secret witness in the trial of Croc for the suspicious disappearance of Kookaburra. This could spell disaster for Maggie.
Hi Ollie. I noticed in the last few videos that kookaburra is missing. Seems employee retention is low or the croc is a safety issue by eating all the birds. Looks consistent. If this keeps up , you'll have no employees left to feed, (which maybe a cost benefit that you have already analyzed ), but what a way to cull inefficient workers. Hang in there though, it maybe tough, but home grown employees are worth it in the long run.
Doesn't matter what's going on outside Ollie. You're always going to be there to save the day. I'm sorry it's yucky out. But it probably does cool things down some. It looks like The Drain Gang has an excellent hiding/napping/lookout spot! ❤️
I've been watching this channel since drain #150 or so and I'm still green with envy about the fact that everyone has exterior plumbing. It's the beginning of October and here in central Georgia, US we're already hitting lower 40f at night.
Always right on,love the working conditions, rain ,tight spaces, helping out the other guys to get outta trouble.normal day.great video, keep doing what your doing and enjoy the beautiful day.yea right.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Another great job Ollie! I really think Ratty would like to ride on the camera when you get it spinning like that. Like a Ferris wheel for the drain gang. 😁
I can’t tell you how happy I am that I stumbled upon your channel so many years ago. It all started because I enjoyed watching 🐀 obsession with 🌽. Now it’s grown into a beautiful spray painted family.
Sunday late Evening, Olly and the Drain Gang bring once more a Interesting Video. And a little Fun in the Evening. Thanks for the beautiful Video, and good night. 👌👍💪Greeting 🇦🇹
Operating an open circular saw blade on a cramped cluttered staircase in the rain. That must have been a health and safety assessment nightmare! Skilfully carried out! lol.
Say Ollie, when you come across something like this, that I assume is not code-compliant (ie: blackwater going into a gully instead of direct to the main sewer), what responsibility does the owner have once you've told them?
Ollie, great job! Even if it rains, snows or the day is ugly, you will always be helping and working. God bless you and may those drains always give you work to do. My congratulations to you and the gang. Take care and it would be great if you could tell me/us how Rigid's scout works to find the point. Greetings from Argentina!
Will you do. Q and A sometime. I would like to ask do you get support from rigid or and drain equipment companies. Also thank you for passing on your knowledge to us all.
Back in my day , the cutters were called small, medium and large mother fuc!ers. All we had back then was a Rigid snake and a garden hose to clear a blockage. No cameras or jetting were invented. Was it hell on earth? Yes. That's what we were paid to combat!
Good explanation at the end why not to use quick couplings for the jetter heads. I always wondered that, makes perfect sense that the extra length of hard fittings added would make it more difficult to clear tight bends.
There's a thing among jetters. If you get your reel stuck in the pipe and have to call another jetter, they get your reel if they get it unstuck. It's like if you think your car is fast enough and race it and loose, you loose your car.
Well if that was true ollie would have everyone's reels i dont think he has enough room in his van for all those reels since i have been watching i think frank would have lost 3 or 4 reels & a couple other guys would have lost theres & they would have to buy them back from ollie or work for him lol
In the states my friend had plumbing that was very old. From the alley 20 feet to the home Roto Rooter ran a rotary eel and hit a blockage then it wouldn't clear wouldn't clear then he pulled out the eel and said Damn that bent my blade. He tried to clear it again no avail. We dug it up and found that they used a Tee with a brick on the end and the eel didn't turn but was boring straight into the end capped with a brick. The Roto Rooter guy said man that's a tough clog. After we dug it up AH HE AAAAHEEE WOOOAAAHHHEEEE AH AH AH AH Ratty laughs when we call him back and say capping the end with a brick so the eel goes past the tee and doesn't turn yeah that's a real tough clog in the exterior line. The plumber said ha REALLY and laughed as we told the company what happened. There was Corn 🌽 and S soup for Ratty AHAH HEEAHHWOOOHAAAHAHEEEE AH. That one made me laugh with the brick.
Ollie, as I commented before I’m a electrician and love your videos. My question is do plumbers watch electrician videos for fun like I do with your videos?
My 4 year old son is a huge fan and wants me to type: “you’re a star. I like your videos. Please make some other videos for later. Goodbye and thank you for now.”
Ollie, i'm probably older than your dad. If he's still alive get all the information you can off him and if not, remember EVERYTHING you can to transmit to your son. Critical to help him out so he can too make a good mint. I wonder how drain clearing will become in the next 15-20 years. I had no idea.
I think it's official, Ollie. You guys over there got ALL the rain we never got this summer. Kept wondering where all the water went during a drought - I guess this year it went to Australia. 😆
A couple of the hardest Aussie workers on RUclips are Ollie of "Drain Addict" and Tim of "Tim's Adventures". Both are a credit to Australia. I admire their work ethic enormously.
That jitters going to quit if you don't start involving it in your food giveaway there maybe a shot glass of oil would be nice great video very interesting stay safe out there 👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲✌️
Looks like the return of the "handyman hackjob special" converting a room at the back of the house to rent out to foreigners. Seems to be a recurring theme...
@@halverde6373 I too will risk injury and death to clear a stubborn blocked drain. Profanity has never worked to clear my blocked drains, but have certainly used the technique. On the topic of hell , I wouldn’t risk my soul on a drain or anything of that matter, that is why I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour! God Bless you and your family 👍
Why do they call him "Dirty Ollie"? Well, that's one thing about our Ollie, he doesn't play any favorites. Ollie hates everybody in the trades. Brickies, Bushies, Cockies, Posties, Drongos, Fishos, Milkos, you name it. Frank once asked, how does he feel about Jetters? Ollie (says with a wink) especially other Jetters. Then Frank asked him for help on this job and was worried Ollie wouldn't save his jetter head. Ollie replied, "You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well do ya, punk?” And now you know why they call him “Dirty Ollie”. He gets every dirty job that comes along.
190th like, but it does somewhat make me wonder if drainage systems are inspected in AUS before they are back filed? Surely if the other toilet was connected correctly, it would be good to dig up the broken section and connect it to the correct system.
Almost 700 videos later and the beeping pattern of the Ridged Scout still mystifies me...
I still don't know if it actually makes that sound or if it's edited in.
Mine just has a slow, steady kinda deeper sounding tone till you get near the target
@@Jultsu Haha me to! I was convinced it was edited in for so many episodes. But now I’m unsure…
Sometimes the beeps make a sort of melody and distracts you from finding the target
@@Jultsu it makes that sound.
It's got to make you feel good to be the one they call to help...and not only clear the issue, but save their equipment pretty quickly.
God Bless Frank as his messes make for great videos.
When the professionals get in a jam, they call Ollie and the crew! All Good.
DA’s advice for the day: “Let’s not be Frank.” Best channel on RUclips! Cheers.

I was wondering the same thing
Omg! Kookaburra! This sound in all video.
Your a star Ollie, saved your friend his gear, and cleared the drain and all in the raining again.

Ollie the great! I can even watch the videos while eating dinner. 😁
Bob's yer Uncle. That always makes me laugh! "Get Rid of the Evidence" was the topper.
It's a good thing the drain gang was there. Also picked a supreme spot to stay out the rain!

Absolutely, no comparison possible.
